Hernandez! The treatment I received with DR. Hernandez and his office staff, I must say, was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in for my initial consultation, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff at the office were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure to answer all of my questions and ease any concerns I had about the upcoming procedure. What really stood out to me was the patience and thoroughness with which the doctor explained the entire process to me during that first visit. It was evident that they truly cared about ensuring I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. As the day of my surgery approached, I appreciated having been proactive in requesting a copy of the instructions at the initial visit- due to different conflicts, I had to reschedule my procedure 2 or 3 times ( I can't remember) so from that initial consult to the date of the procedure was well over 4 months. This was the first time I was undergoing any sort of procedure, so for my own wellbeing, I am glad I requested the paperwork at that first visit! While the pre-op instructions provided the night before were minimal, having the additional guidance ensured I was well-prepared for the big day. On the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly, thanks to the professionalism and expertise of the entire team. I was pleasantly surprised by how little discomfort I experienced afterward, thanks to the adequate pain control measures put in place. My follow-up appointment a week later further solidified my positive impression of the office. I was informed upfront about the risk of infection, particularly in the lower teeth, and advised on what symptoms to watch out for. Unfortunately, I did develop an infection a week later, but the response from the office was swift and efficient. They offered me a same-day visit, although I had a scheduling conflict and went in the next morning instead. The quick incision and drainage procedure had me in and out of the office in under 30 minutes, with clear instructions on how to care for the site afterward. Since then, my recovery has been smooth sailing, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received at this office. I would highly recommend anyone in need of oral surgery to consider this practice for their exceptional care and professionalism. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience as pleasant as possible. First, I was actually told from a previous surgeon that my teeth needed to be cut and they couldn't be fully removed. Dr. Hernandez assured me that I didn't need this and could have them all removed - my nerves and everything were completely fine (and I'm SO glad I listened and had them all removed). The procedure was beyond quick and easy - and they even gave me a heated blanket for the procedure (this shows the extra mile they take here). I was in and out in an hour. I had VERY minimal swelling and needed no pain meds or anything really by the second day. Some ice and soup and I was fine. My brother also had his wisdom teeth removed here and had the same, great experience. Dr. Hernandez was incredibly kind, and if you're like my anxiety-filled self, you'll love him. There seemed to be a constant turnover of dentists, which made it difficult to receive consistent care. My biggest concern came after one of the newer dentists worked on my front tooth. I had three fillings come out within approximately two weeks. After returning and still not having the issue successfully resolved, I requested a refund. My request was refused. I also specifically asked for the owner, Dr. John, to contact me so I could discuss what happened and hopefully resolve the situation directly. I never received a call back. After being a longtime patient, I found this extremely disappointing. In my experience, the practice now seems much more focused on promoting veneers, cosmetic procedures, and additional services than on the jbasic restorative dental care that originally kept me coming back. I would strongly encourage potential patients--especially anyone needing fillings or restorative dental work--to ask questions about who will actually be performing the treatment, their experience, and what the practice will do if the dental work fails shortly afterward. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after losing three fillings in such a short period of time, being denied a refund, and receiving no response from the owner, I felt other patients should be aware of my experience before choosing this practice
