We found this on Yelp and said this was a small business that needs recognition so wife and I went on a Friday night to try it out. The place had some outdoor seating, but at 52 degrees outside, we needed to sit at one of the 5 indoor tables. Victoria, our server showed us the limited menu for the night. No pricing was evident, but we chatted about a few items. She related the side items that came with various entries and we ordered. Another couple came in and sat near us. They appeared to be regulars since they asked about the two for one drink special that was part of their prior attendance and Victoria said it was still available. Well, we then jumped on that, since she did not tell us about it. I ordered Jaeger Schnitzel with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. My wife had the bourbon chicken with rice. Photos show what we had. The food was ok, the chicken dish had a kind of curry flavor, and ample chicken pieces, but no vegetables, just a dinner roll. My dinner had limited mushroom gravy on the breaded pork cutlet and on the mashed potatoes. When the bill was presented, I noticed an extra $1.00 charge for the red cabbage. And the entry was priced $2.00 more than the website price was on their site. My fault for not asking. Supply shortages cause changes, but it would have been beneficial to ask the prices. The service was prompt, food good, but not exceptional and the place has potential. Just needs more customers to get the kinks out. read more

A lovely little gem in The Villages! The owner is extremely nice and super passionate about her food. There are a wide range of options and cuisines on the menu. I ordered the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. The pork chop itself was very well seasoned and tender. If this sandwich had some type of sauce as well, it would be perfect. I also really liked the German chocolate cake. I thought that the coconut / condensed milk frosting went really well with the chocolate. Delightful private bistro owned & operated by chef. Delicious menu with homemade soups, sandwiches, Kielbasa & Cabbage diners and fresh Key Lime pie & other dessert treats. Located in a low traffic shopping therefore a peaceful dining experience. I had the very tasty beef stew that is on the menu daily. My mom had the tuna fish that also was amazing. They were great in their old location off 441, but when they moved to the gated community, their food and service went downhill and the atmosphere is noisy. Too bad. I would have continued to be a regular at their old facility. read more

What a lovely little place! They opened in October and are the perfect respite for our current Armageddon scenario. You can easily get takeout, prepared foods in the cooler and homemade desserts to make your quarantine as seamless as possible. Everything is made with love, care and awesome ingredients. My only recommendation might be one or two standard vegetarian hot main entrees as I would have gotten the lasagne, or spaghetti, had there not been meat in it. read more

My husband and I stopped for lunch today, first visit. Cute little place with 3-4 tables and outside covered seating. Nice varied menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner options plus cool specials, some that have choice of appetizers included. Tom ordered one of the daily specials , a bratwurst in roll with warm German potato salad and kraut, $8.50. I had the ""Unfried" chicken sandwich, served on a bun with potato chips, $8.50. The chicken breast was lightly breaded and air fried - very delicious. Service by Vivian was friendly and prompt and the owner/chef Michele came out to welcome us. We split a piece of German Chocolate Cake, homemade by Michele - it was the best we've ever had, moist and fresh with a rich buttercream frosting and lots of coconut. My neighbor and I had dinner at Michelle's last Tuesday for German night. The first disappointment was that they did not have sauerbraten so we ordered the schnitzel. Our meals were not hot and tasted like leftovers. We were not able to finish our meals because they were tasteless. Needless to say, we will not be going back. read more

Very good food here. I had fish and mashed potatoes with gravy and it was a perfect sized portion for me. We were able to sit outside under their tents which is perfect for those of us who do not want to sit inside due to Covid. read more

My wife's cod sandwich came out on a plain toasted hamburger bun, no lettuce, tomato, pickle,...nothing. In addition, and most important, it was two thin, prebreaded pieces of frozen fish. She said it had a processed almost gummy taste. I ordered the mahi Reuben sandwich special. The fish was OK, but the bread wasn't even toasted. Almost no taste. Very disappointed in the food. Great find! Amazing food with a great variety. We had their two schnitzel dishes. I had the Rahm Schnitzel which was perfectly cooked and juicy. It came with a delicious sweet red cabbage. My guy had the Jagerschmitzel which was also delicious and cooked to perfection. The owners are so nice and accommodating. On a cold night when we were dining outdoors, they set up a heater on their lovely patio. Michele came to our table, introduced herself and made us feel welcome. There were so many options on the menu that we plan to go back even though we are only here for 2 days. I can't rave enough about this unique and fabulous place. read more

Ordered a triple salad for dinner. Menu said egg salad, chicken salad etc. wife was then asked what sides. She told them coleslaw and potato salad. Was then told you get one more which she said double up on the coleslaw. Got home in bag was two small containers of potato salad and coleslaw and five saltine crackers PERIOD. Called and was told there is two orders of coleslaw in one small container and one order of potato salad in the other. Nothing else If you can only get one order of potato salad in a container how can they get two orders in the other. I also left a nice tip. Don't go if you want your monies worth. Love this place. We have been making our way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed. We tried all the main dish selections and each one was delicious. Fun menu. Lots of variety. Food is supremely mediocre and tiny for the price, and the restaurant does not take even minimal COVID-19 precautions. We dined with my octogenarian grandmother, and the waiter and restaurant owner came and engaged in conversation, one or two feet away from us, multiple times, without masks. No masks or any other precautions taken in the restaurant, even indoors. Decided to come in and try it because we work right around the corner and I spoke to the owner and she's the nicest person. Very passionate about her food. It also gives off a very home welcome energy. I got the beef stew and some key lime pie. Absolutely loved every bit of it and what she's doing. Her story is amazing. This is a small place tucked in the end of a strip type building. I found out about it by patronizing the restaurant next door and looked them up online and discovered a very diverse menu. We decided to give it a try. We still are not dining at restaurants due to Covid so we got our order to go. My wife got the kielbasa mac and cheese and I got the chicken casserole. I was told 25 minutes when ordered as they said they were busy, I got there at the 30 minute mark. I was told about 5 more minutes and it was actually 15. I was a bit bothered at first but they were very busy and were all working there tails off to make everyone happy. When I got home and tried the food, I would have waited another 15 minutes if I had to. The food was well portioned and absolutely delicious. Both my wife and I are extremely pleased and we are looking forward to exploring more of the menu. Word of advise....just go there knowing it may take a while but good things are worth waiting for.
