French dip and fries
Susan C.

I ate here for the first time today. Upon walking in, my first thought was I was underdressed because it was a bit fancy. But that was okay, I was treated like I was the most important customer there. All the staff were really great. For an appetizer, I got the mozzarella sticks. They were pretty good. They also brought out bread, which was nice and crusty and delicious. For the main course, I had the French dip. It was loaded with cheese, mushrooms, onions and of course, the beef. The beef was seasoned very nicely. And, the au jus perfectly complimented the French dip. It was also served with steak fries, which were very good. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here and will definitely visit them again. Next time I think I will try their pizza.

Tuna salad on mixed greens

Some positives and some negatives from our experience here. The service was phenomenal - Nico is a true professional and was on top of everything the entire meal. The restaurant itself is very clean and has lot of seating, including booths and tables. The food however, was mediocre. I'm not sure if it's a lack of salt or what, but the eggplant parm was bland and wet, as was the special tuna salad on mixed greens. Additionally, the music in the background was cartoonish...it's like the Godfather soundtrack playing on repeat.

This is hands-down, the best Italian restaurant around the villages. Keep in mind that I'm Italian and I make the best Italian food. This is equal don't waste your time anywhere else and make a reservation. Good grief it was fantastic. Came for my birthday this time always looking for an excuse.

Tuscan stuffed Chicken

Arrived for an early weeknight dinner, special occasion. Seated without a wait. Restaurant packed when we left. Encourage you to try their cocktails. We did two specialty Martinis, Happy Hour every day 4-5PM. Next we chose Mussels in white sauce for an appetizer. It was wonderful. Our entrees included Tuscan stuffed Chicken, Eggplant Rolatini. The red sauce was awesome, completely different (in a better way) than most Italian restaurants. We finished with the Tartufa ice cream desert and two Cappuccinos. Ambiance was upscale yet comfortable. Wait staff absolutely fantastic. Portion size good, prices very reasonable. We will return.

The food exceptional and Sebastian was the best waiter ever, explained the menu completely. My first time visiting my friends at The Villages and an experience I will never forget. I asked for moscato got Chardonnay instead he immediately made it right! You cannot go wrong here with food, atmosphere, ambience! Loved it!

I can't believe it took us so long to try this restaurant. It is located in a shopping plaza. There is a shared parking lot. Upon entering, you are greeted by a attentive and welcoming staff. The tables have white tablecloths. We love coming here for lunch on Sundays. They have a pianist who plays classics and really sets the mood. There is a wonderful brunch menu in addition to their regular menu. The southern Italian sandwich is absolutely delicious!! It is a must try! It has so many wonderful flavors between the pesto, burrata cheese and balsamic glaze. The brisket pizza is perfectly done and so good! We chose to have the brunch crepes as our dessert and they did not disappoint. The food is fresh and so flavorful. Everything was cooked perfectly. The owner is very gracious and always greets us. You can't go wrong with anything. The service, food and atmosphere will keep you coming back!

Very good service - Italian entrees are serviceable, nothing extra-ordinary. An OK option for Americanized Italian fare.

Is this a good restaurant to take my family to?

Altho I've never seen young children in the restaurant, I have dined alone and with groups of up to 20 and everytime the service has been great, the food and selection bountiful. Also there is usually modest yet tasteful entertainment.

After a few dinners here, hands down my favorite place in The Villages. Often times when visiting…read moreThe Villages I have to temper my expectations as to food quality and flavor. But when I first visited Harry and the Natives about 6 months ago I realized this place was different. Now, I can honestly say it's a place 'I look forward to' vs. a lot of The Villages food options which are 'places i settle for'. Pricing is fair for the quality you get. The drinks are Tiki inspired and delicious (I highly recommend the Village Dodo) and you can tell they pride themselves of freshness and quality. They have some of the best crab cakes I've ever had, a bit pricey but they are almost 100% crab (almost not binder/filler) and if you know the price of crab these days you'd understand the pricing. For me, a Village Dodo drink, Filet Mignon medium rare 'surf and turf' style with a crab cake, and creamed spinach side served outside with the tiki torches blaring is near perfection in a meal.

Beautiful setting, completely unacceptable service…read more We sat at the bar while the bartender finished with the guests next to us. I asked for menus and was told, "I'll be right with you." Instead, those guests handed us theirs. When she came back, I asked about the specials. Her answer: "I don't know, I didn't write them down... some kind of fish with risotto." I said I was interested in the soup. She left to find out, came back with "chicken noodle and Thai soup,." When I asked what was in the Thai soup, she said, "I don't know, but there's fish in it." That's not just bad service, it's careless. People have allergies and dietary restrictions. Not knowing what's in the food is inexcusable. I went inside and spoke with the manager, who apologized and agreed that the staff should know the menu and the specials. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries for $16.95. It came out with barely any pork and limp, lifeless fries. It's unfortunate, because the setting is beautiful. But between the service and the food, it's simply not worth it. I didn't eat. The service was so poor I lost my appetite. We definitely won't be back.
