If you are ordering pastries and coffee you will be on one side, whereas, if you are looking to order off the menu with full service, you will be on the bar side. Nichole's is a well oiled machine. The setup is easy to navigate and the concept is unique. Blending pastries, coffee, cakes, cooking products, wine, breakfast, lunch and dinner into one space is magnificent. I loved my intimate dine in session ordering the avocado toast on sourdough bread with an over hard egg and an orange hot tea. It was the perfect blend and was the best avocado toast I ever had. My belly was far too full after brunch so I went to the bakery side after and bought a chocolate raspberry muffin (also the best muffin I've ever had), chocolate chip cookies (darn near ate them all in one setting) and poppyseed thumbprint cookies with a raspberry filling (jaw dropping). There are so many more products to taste and see so I highly recommend a visit. I totally look forward to my return in August so I can dabble more with pastries and get into the espresso world too. Inside Babb's is a cozy coffeehouse with a very nice staff and your typical menu for food and drinks. I bought us all drinks to help revive everyone since we had been driving non-stop at that point, with a quick stop in Minneapolis, MN for breakfast at Hazel's Northeast. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, thankfully. Mine was pretty good, just wish they would've blended the caramel in with the drink instead of drizzling it on there, but other than that, it was great. They seem to offer food and baked goods, but since we just ate pretty recently, we didn't get to sample their food.

The weather was perfect and their patio is quaint & comfortable as it is surrounded on three sides by 2 story brick buildings - which gives a different vibe than you experience at other traditional patios in Fargo.
