I am very satisfied with this place. All You Med Spa is located in the H mart (Korean Super market)…read moreso you can have grocery shopping after Spa. Sarah is a professional esthetician with 20yr experience. Her face massage treatment makes me go to Heaven and other esthetician also give me a great hand massage while face pack. I am happy about Korean Services. I usually do anti-aging treatment (120minuties) with laser treatment. It costs approximately $200, but it's worth it.

Reasons to stay away from this place:…read more 1. Poor customer service. This reason alone should be the reason why people shouldn't go here. She has a bad attitude. Period. That starts from the time you walk out after you hand her the check so be prepared. I even starting to question whether it was because I'm Korean and if she treats her non-Korean customers better. I wouldn't be surprised if she did. This lady continues to shock me with her lack of professionalism, disorganization, poor communication skills, and absolutely no humility over the year we've been in touch. Recently, she called me one day before my appointment and asked me to change my schedule because she's busy. I called her two weeks ahead just to make the schedule work and now she won't give me the time that works for me (the paying customer) or the refund for my unused/remaining sessions solely for the reason that my first session was in January. Can anyone explain to me the logic behind that? Also, I actually made a schedule to see her once during summer and guess what? She wasn't there. Are you convinced yet? 2. Expensive. My mother and I paid close to 1000 for getting spots removed from our face and our eyebrows done. The prices don't make sense at all to be honest and all she kept emphasizing is that other places are more expensive and that we should be thankful that she's giving us a good deal. (Please know that the only reason we went here is because my mom knew her from before when she worked at Gloria.) With the combination of her ridiculous prices and poor customer service, all I can conclude is that this whole experience is a waste of my time, money, and energy. I am so disappointed and angry. This place and the service is provides is a scam. I am speaking from personal experience so please, save yourself from extra stress and do not go to this place. Also, the person before me said she is satisfied with "Korean Services" and that worries me. All You Med Spa is not what should be represented as quality customer service, let alone, quality Korean customer service. She doesn't care about her customers. All she wants is your money. So please, save your money, time, and energy and stay away from this place. All you will get in return is a hole in your wallet and a great example of poor customer service.

My experience with symmetrical artistry was not good, which was a bummer since it seems to be well…read moreregarded by many. I got powder brows, and the process was fine. I did feel judged for wearing a mask which wasn't cool, but whatever. Comments on my brows during my consultation also were a bit critical which seemed unnecessary. It was kind of everything else that made the whole experience a disaster. As I left my initial powder brows appointment, I scheduled a touch-up (included in service as long as it's within 8 weeks). When I arrived weeks later for my appointment, no one was there. As a matter of full disclosure, I was five minutes late. Yet I was surprised, because I've never been to a place where an employee would walk out the door if a client wasn't there exactly on time. I rang the bell and knocked on the door since it could reasonably be a security measure if someone was alone, but the place was dark and the door was locked. Thinking perhaps folks were running late, I sat on their patio to wait a few minutes. After maybe 10-ish minutes I called the salon number. Five to eight minutes elapsed with no response so I followed the instructions on the voicemail, which said to text for a faster response. I got a text from the owner saying that they were at an event and immediately after the text--whilst taking a screenshot of my confirmation text that I'd received two days prior--she called to say that they didn't have me on the schedule and asked if I had received a confirmation. I forwarded the confirmation and she said that the woman who was doing my brows had asked the day before if she had an appointment. She apologized, I rescheduled, but I'd planned the weekend of child's birthday party around this appointment and turned down plans because they conflicted so I was indeed pretty annoyed. Although it was outside the 8 week timeframe--my appointment was at the 8 week mark--they didn't charge me for going outside the initial touch-up timeframe (which would be expected but not always guaranteed). It would have been nice for them to tell the receptionist that though, since she stopped me as I was leaving thinking I hadn't paid. If I had to make the choice again, I wouldn't do the brows. All I can say is that your mileage may vary. It's undoubtedly a rare occurrence but the schedule thing and lack of communication makes me feel their reliability is suspect. And I'm not sure about going back for touch-ups if I need them in a few years.

After reading all the five-star reviews, I decided to try it. Well, let's just say that you get…read morewhat you pay for. I went to Soft Touch Microblading Spa about two months ago, but I should have known it was too good to be true. The pricing is very enticing as she has the lowest prices around, which is what draws people to her, but what they don't realize is that having permanent makeup done is not THAT cheap; on average, when you go to a true professional, it will cost around $700-$1000 for eyebrows and having your eyeliner done runs a little higher, costing an average of $800-$1200 (I know bc I have been having this done for over 12 years). I should have known better; it was my mistake to look at all the five-star reviews without doing more research. Under normal circumstances, I rarely look at the five-star reviews first, but rather the lowest as I feel that is the best way to get a full picture. If you read her 1- & 2-star reviews, you will find out that she oversells packages, rushes through work, owes several people money, ignores phone calls when she doesn't want to deal with you, can't find you in her system, says you are a bleeder, etc.; there is always some sort of excuse. The first thing I noticed when I arrived is that the place is in the middle of nowhere (if you don't pay attention, you wouldn't even know the place is there). Soft Touch Microblading Spa could NOT be further from a Spa. It's in what can only be described as a dilapidated building and not in the best of neighborhoods, which is probably the reason why the door is always locked. She reeks of cigarette smoke, talks incessantly, and spends very little time with her clients (unless she is trying to push services on you that you don't need). She tried her hardest to sell facial and body treatments to me as well, but I was NOT buying into her "used car salesmanship." I am so glad that I didn't waste more money there. As one reviewer pointed out "I must say Tracy isn't straight forward with her services." She told me I would need several treatments rather than the usual 2 (the first and the follow up). Also, anyone who does this for a living knows you should NOT have this done more than once a year, yet she offers a 3,6 and 12 month touch up. You shouldn't need a touch up for at least 12-24 months when this is done correctly; I can only deduce that this is for one of two reasons: she is trying to get more money out of you or she just can't provide the same level of expertise as others in her field. Even when you google this, it specifically states the following: "You should not get microblading more than once a year because frequent touch-ups can lead to excessive pigment buildup, potential scarring, and damage to the skin's texture due to repeated micro-injuries in the same area, making it difficult to achieve optimal results in the future; ideally, you should wait as long as possible between sessions to allow the skin to fully heal." She claims in one of her 1-star reviews that "we have over 3000 clients that are happy with their eyebrows." However, when you go to the booking app, she has a plethora of appointments available, some as early as the next day, and I looked all the way through May. If you have 3000 clients, it would take months to get in. Someone please do the math on this one. Beware of the five star reviews. This is the worst service I have ever received.

Big shout out to Kim Sun Young hair design and the ladies who work there for patiently braiding and packaging up my hair I highly recommend this salon as the service was wonderful and I believe it was a valuable experience.

I went back and forth as to whether I wanted to write this, but I do think my experience was…read moreunfortunate and may not necessarily reflect their skill and service here, but I think it's still worth sharing. The TL;DR is that I was unable to get my hair coloring done and also got a haircut that was not very flattering. I felt I looked better when I came in vs when I came out of the salon. This was all despite the effort I made to contact this salon multiple times beforehand to ensure that they were able to do the hair that I wanted. In January, I had my hair cut and permed in Los Angeles, which I was happy with, but I wanted to also make my hair blonde with this hair style (I'm a Korean American with dark hair). I confirmed with my hairstylist in LA as well as the internet that you should wait a while to bleach your hair to space out the damage, at least ~4 weeks. I currently live in Cleveland, OH for grad school and heard there aren't many good salons in OH for Asian hair. So I did my research, found this salon in Chicago with good ratings, read through ratings, looked through photos, and then first messaged them on instagram to set an appt. I sent them reference photos of the color I wanted, plus a current selfie showing my hair to ask if what I wanted was possible. I also explained I was going to be driving in from Cleveland (took me 7 hours since I avoided tolls) so I wanted to really make sure before I made the trip. I told them also about my perm from weeks ago (it was going to be over 7 weeks since the perm for the appt day I asked for). I also called 24 hours later directly to the salon since I didn't get a response on instagram right away. The person on the phone booked me with Michelle. I then proceeded to explain my situation and told them I sent them photos on instagram. The woman on the phone tried to reassure me saying "it's okay, Michelle can do whatever color. Don't worry about it." I took their word. They also responded on instagram confirming they could book me an appt and gave me an estimate of pricing (starting around $350) and time range (3-4 hours) based on the color I wanted. The day of my appt, I show Michelle my pictures and what I want. She starts rambling about how the color I want is not possible, or needs to be bleached multiple times because my hair color is too dark. I was asking her to clarify if that meant I have to come in on different days to get it done, and she wasn't very clear and eventually just said, "It's okay, we will figure it out. For now, you need a haircut right?" So we cut my hair to a length I was satisfied with, but since it wasn't dried/styled yet, I wasn't sure what the finished product would look like yet. Then we went back to discussing color. First, she tells me, "okay, we can bleach multiple times, but it may take a long time, maybe even 6 hours. Is that ok?" I said yes (I knew it might take a long time so I purposefully asked for their earliest appt time that day). "And it's going to be around $400-500. Is that ok?" I said yes again. THEN she says, "oh, and the bleach is going to flatten your perm, so you won't have your perm anymore." This is when I was stunned and hesitated and asked for time to think. I was already starting to worry about whether the color would actually look okay on me based on Michelle's initial response to my request, but then to also not have my perm that I had paid for before but I still wanted to be a part of my overall hairstyle? I was incredibly disappointed. I was definitely ignorant of how this hair stuff worked, but that's why I tried doing my research beforehand and asked them multiple times, sending them pictures and explaining my situation BEFORE I planned a trip 7 hours away by car. I don't have many free weekends, so this was also difficult for me to schedule. Eventually I declined the color because I didn't want to risk not liking the final color AND losing my perm. But I wish the staff, all the people I talked to here, told me BEFORE I made the trip to Chicago, and BEFORE she cut my hair. I honestly would not have gotten my haircut had I known I wasn't going to get color. I know cheaper hair salons for hair cuts in the area and might've opted for another place if I wanted one (my hair was already short, but the haircut price was still $70). The staff didn't necessarily act rude or anything, but they clearly failed to take my situation into consideration despite all of my effort and wasted my time, money and energy. And honestly I don't like the hair cut. I look like Johnny Depp from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; the lack of layers is not flattering. I have to pull my hair back daily to look decent. I'm just sad this happened and they may be competent at hair, but the inconsiderate communication was really disappointing.
