And I didn't even know I live that close to Manassas. Getting lost was well worth it. This is one of the nicest beauty supply stores I've seen in the DMV since moving from Atlanta where the supply (hehe) was endless. Unlike the majority of the beauty supply stores I've been to lately, there wasn't anything sketchy about this location. The store was well lit, clean, and most importantly well stocked. They carry tons of different brands, including the high end natural haircare lines that are some of my favorites! The weave and wig selection is on point, and they have colors beyond the boring 1B/30. Who am I kidding, 1B/33 is as far "out there" as I can go being a lawyer. But, a girl can look right?!? One point I want to address is the staff. NO ONE followed me around the store. And I'm African-American, often mistaken for Indian, Puerto Rican, Dominican, or anything other than African-American, but I'm brown skin black chick. I was treated just as kindly as the rest of the brown skin women in the store, and I made sure to take note if anyone looked like they were being followed. To the contrary, the staff were very helpful as myself and another patron tried on wigs. It was actually kind of fun hanging out with total strangers on a Saturday afternoon. The markup on the wigs was a bit much once I got home and saw it was cheaper online, but the service and getting it in person were worth it. I plan to frequent this beauty supply store often!

My mom is going through cancer so we purchased a wig from Lynn and were extremely disappointed with…read moreboth the wig and our experience. The wig itself was very poor quality--the cut was uneven, it wasn't styled properly, there was a lot of hair breakage, the cap was stretched out and there were even holes/stains in the cap with hair poking through. Knowing that my mom would be sick, we chose Lynn because she will come to the house. However, she only did a FaceTime call prior to delivering the wig (which was not adequate to properly replicate my mom's hairstyle/color or ensure the correct fit). The wig was supposed to have been cut and styled by a hairdresser. She had her son deliver the wig from the salon without first ensuring that the hairdresser did what was asked. To her credit, when I reached out to her about the problems, she did come to the house and attempted to make adjustments. When she saw that the cap did not properly fit my mom's head, without us even asking, she offered to replace the wig within about a week. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, she has ghosted us and will not respond. Overall, the product and service were both extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this seller based on my experience.
