Micheviche is located in Condesa and known for their ceviche. My husband and I walked to this restaurant from our Airbnb (which was a 10 minute walk). We came on a Wednesday night and arrived a little before 6 pm. When we walked in, we were greeted by 2 employees and seated right away.
After looking over the menus, we ended up ordering:
Bottled Water (16 oz), $65 MXN or $3.71 USD- My husband made the mistake of asking for water when the server asked us in English what we would like to drink. A habit of what he normally orders when we go to restaurants back home in California. Because my husband already opened the bottled water, it was too late to return it. What really annoyed me the most was that I actually already had a bottled of water in my bag. So don't make the same stupid mistake that my husband made because this is a rip off for the price of a bottle of water.
Mexican IPA, $180 MXN or $10.28 USD- This is pretty expensive for a bottle of beer. But my husband thought this beer taste just fine.
Filete se peacado, $180 MXN or $10.28 USD- Wanting something healthy, I opted to get the fish. I was asked by our server if I would like rice or salad or both. I asked for both. I was also asked if I wanted the fish grilled, which I said yes. The portion size for this meal was really good. I really enjoyed the light seasoned flavors of the fish, which went well with the salad and the lightly seasoned rice. I really felt good after eating this meal.
Caribena, $150 MXN or $8.58 USD- This ceviche is tuna with mango and it came with chips and crackers. This ceviche came with some big chunks of both mango and ahi tuna. It also came with thin slices of cucumber and red onions. This ceviche was good but was on the salty side. Portion size is good as an appetizer to share.
Aguachile de camaron cristol $125 MXN or $7.14 USD- This ceviche also came with additional chips and crackers. This dish also came out much later than the other 2 dishes. Because we were already starting to get full, we decided to have this item boxed up to bring back to our Airbnb. There was a lot of shrimp in this ceviche, which was nice but it was a little too raw for our liking (although I did read online that this is how normally this dish is supposed to be served). So the next day, we ended up cooking the fish and adding it to some rice and vegetables that we cooked and thought it was delicious. The sauce was really nice.

(Total= $700 MXN or $39.99 USD prior to tip)
Both the employees that we interacted with spoke English and also Spanish. Our main server was attentive and friendly.
Overall, we had a nice dinner and believe the prices for the entrees are affordable for us and also seems to be on par with the other restaurants in this area. read more
