Most my gear was still in transit, and I was going to be starting a new job that required me to be armed. The rifle I was looking at was over 1500 and at the time that was not cheep. I was going to be buying high priced firearms not your bottom of the bine knock off show me the cheapest you got crap and the guy treated me like I was stupid or something. I had to run a class that was using their range a few years back and it was easy to see nothing had changed. Its almost like the owner went out of his way to find assholes. I very rarely say this but if you want a example of who should not carry a gun go to their store.

For example, there are poor reviews on yelp for this place because customers didn't realize they'd need to purchase ammo in order to shoot. Ammo isn't free, it never will be free, and if you rent range time anywhere you're bringing your own ammo or paying for it at the range. Thats a bad reason to leave a poor review. Renting range time also doesn't include free lessons to use a firearm. I think that's also another misconception people have when going to a range and renting a firearm - which leads to false poor reviews IMO. If you are looking for a long indoor range to fire your rifle, this place is great. I wish it was 100yards, but 50 yards is still the longest we've got in metro detroit. Ive been here twice and would definitely go back. It's cheap. The targets are free. The range is no frills. No fancy technology. It certainly gets the job done - especially in the area. But don't walk in expecting free ammo or free lessons.
