I cannot speak to the 1 star review concerns, but as someone that works in the real estate industry, both residential and commercial, Paul's experience and report is exactly what makes the home buying experience one that you will not regret. It is very probable that the cost of repairs was too much for the buyer, and if this hidden or unknown cost had come about months after buying the house, they may not have been prepared to pay for the work. His reports are detailed and provide you with guidance on priorities and larger issues that can commonly be hidden with paint and staging. When we bought our first home, built in 1927, Paul was clear about the amount of maintenance it would require, provided tips on how to handle them, and showed us areas that were neglected that could cause issues down the road.
