Was really hoping to add to the great reviews, especially since it's a local business, but I didn't love my experience. I stopped by on a slow day to have my bracelet assessed and the woman in the store was a little rude. I was the only customer in the store but wasn't greeted, had to initiate the conversation about what I needed, and didn't receive a smile. The reviews had mentioned friendliness and warmth from store employees, so I was a little taken aback. I was then quoted $30 to fix my bracelet, which was then bumped up to $60 because the chain was broken in two spots instead of one. I'm not very familiar with jewelry repair prices, but the price bump did seem a little steep. I still decided to move forward with the repair and was told I'd be contacted for pick-up in two weeks. Two weeks went by and I didn't receive a single text or call about progress or pick-up. I finally called myself and my bracelet was ready, I just hadn't been contacted. Quality of the repair seems fine, but given the experience, I probably will support another local jewelry business instead.

Although further, this location is so conveniently situated at the 2nd and PCH plaza which has kids activities during the summer and some good restaurants we frequent. So it never feels like I'm just traveling further for the store. Anyway, for the store itself, I've gotten several 14k gold pieces and they're very dainty and delicate which I like. I accidentally broke one of my bracelets but it was very easy to replace and when it wasn't available in store, it was shipped to my home pretty quickly. For the non fine jewelry there are a lot of options. One downside for me is that I can't wear the earrings. I asked before if they're nickel free but I wasn't really given a straight answer so I just don't buy the earrings out of fear that it won't work out for me. I have bought gold earrings and they're great. Service has been friendly and helpful for me. Because it's such a family friendly plaza with events specially geared towards kids, I've walked in with my two kids several times before. Sometimes kids and jewelry stores just don't go together lol but I've always felt welcomed with my kiddos here (and yes, I'm extra mindful that they not grab or drop pieces). The other one (trainer?) was so over the top and chatty she ended up grabbing the wrong anklet. Luckily I noticed while she was boxing it and she apologized. She grabbed the one I wanted and wrapped it. A week later I give it to my friend. It's so small she cannot get it around her ankle. We go back to the store and they suggest buying an extender. After trying on other anklets, we discovered she had sold us a bracelet instead. We finally got the correct anklet. Today, less than a month after giving her the anklet, it broke! My friend returned to the store and they are out of stock in this anklet. I'm so disappointed in the quality and service. I have several friends who also used to purchase Gorjana, but have had similar experiences with the quality. I'm not sure I will purchase any other jewelry from them. It's not worth the hassle.

I had put it on like usual, but the swelling got so bad it was cutting off circulation--and nothing worked (soap, ice, even the floss trick). He told me he's able to remove about 90% of stuck rings but would need to see it in person. I came in, and he had it off in under five minutes. He was incredibly professional, gentle, and there was zero pain. When I asked how much I owed him, he told me he only charges to fix or make things, not to break them. That alone says everything about his integrity. I'll absolutely be coming back for any future jewelry needs. I couldn't recommend him more.
