Was really hoping to add to the great reviews, especially since it's a local business, but I didn't love my experience. I stopped by on a slow day to have my bracelet assessed and the woman in the store was a little rude. I was the only customer in the store but wasn't greeted, had to initiate the conversation about what I needed, and didn't receive a smile. The reviews had mentioned friendliness and warmth from store employees, so I was a little taken aback. I was then quoted $30 to fix my bracelet, which was then bumped up to $60 because the chain was broken in two spots instead of one. I'm not very familiar with jewelry repair prices, but the price bump did seem a little steep. I still decided to move forward with the repair and was told I'd be contacted for pick-up in two weeks. Two weeks went by and I didn't receive a single text or call about progress or pick-up. I finally called myself and my bracelet was ready, I just hadn't been contacted. Quality of the repair seems fine, but given the experience, I probably will support another local jewelry business instead.

Despite the piece being gold plated, the coloring looks so fake and feels like I'm wearing a piece of children's jewelry. I can't layer it with any other gold plated jewelry from other jewelry stores because the coloring from gorjana is far too yellow. Definitely think twice about purchasing any gold plated pieces from here and make sure it fits the color palette you are personally going for. Apparently the unusual coloring is intentional--customer support has told me that the jewelry is designed with a "bright yellow gold tone. This is part of the gorjana aesthetic and gives the piece a vibrant, eye-catching finish. Because of this, it may appear more yellow compared to solid gold or other gold-plated pieces when layered."

A strong team usually reflects good leadership, and here it felt like employees weren't aligned on how to create a welcoming environment or encourage customers to come back. It came across more like people were just hanging out rather than actively trying to provide a positive shopping experience. With better organization and more attentive customer service, this place could improve a lot, but as it stands, it didn't leave a great impression.
