I started with a virtual consultation with the owner, Patricia Wrixon. Pat was INCREDIBLE and was so understanding and supportive! I booked an appointment and because I live more than 6 hours away, she booked me on a Thursday morning, allowing us more than enough time to find the correct hair piece, overnight ship it, color and highlight on Friday and cut and blend with my bio hair Saturday along with teaching me all about the care of Follea hair pieces. Living so far away, Ashley (Office Manager) and Sara answered endless questions and emails. They ensured our trip was pure perfection. When we entered the Salon, the staff is amazing at Covid precautions as well as assuring you are seen in a private space due to the emotions of hair loss. We were offered coffee, americano, espresso, water and were catered to like royalty. Pat even helped us find the most amazing place to have dinner that evening! I am deathly afraid of going bald and the texture of my hair has drastically changed. Because of this, my husband and I decided I would purchase a Follea topper and a Follea wig that match; therefore I can wear whichever I am more comfortable in at the moment and no one will be the wiser! Not only did Pat not oversell, she was quick to point out that we did not have to decide that moment. Check this out though: made another appointment at Regeneris Medical & New England hair restoration, told them what happened and they were genuinely appalled by it. This place does the same "A-cell" technology that Leonard uses and they told that they straight up LIED to me, as there is no "short shelf life" to it (it was one of their excuses as to why it needed to be rescheduled and I lost my deposit, this new place doesn't even take a deposit! Plus, the very nice man at this place explained that is NOT true as the "A-cell" tech is added right before it needs to be used so there's no issues there, not only that but they tried to NOT push me into PRP and a 3k light cap, instead, simply a pill for now as it seemed like the best course of action as opposed to making me spending 6 grand in a year and instead only spent less than 100 bucks for 6 months of a prescription that would help all the same while the guy at Leonard hair tried to push the most expensive thing possible. Go to this New England hair and regeneris as opposed to these scam artists, it's a better facility and they also have more staff in place to help. They will give you honest opinions, not push you into stuff you don't need, don't require a deposit and they treat you much better. Leonard is popular because they have celebrity clients but this other place does all the exact same things and is much more in your corner then these guys.

I also quickly ruled out going overseas. Earlier this year, I came across NE Hair and scheduled a free virtual consultation. From the first conversation, Mike was outstanding. He answered every question and concern I had and took the time to explain the philosophy and values that Dr. Welter and the entire NE Hair team operate by. By the end of that call, I felt confident this was where I wanted to have my procedure done. We discussed my goals and agreed that 3,000 grafts would be right for me. We also talked about pricing, which I found to be very reasonable, and scheduled the procedure. At the end of April, I made the trip to NE Hair. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated exceptionally well. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The day started with a detailed discussion about what to expect. I met with Dr. Welter and PA Cassandra, both of whom would be involved throughout the entire procedure. After shaving my head and administering the numbing injections (which were far easier than I expected) the extraction process began.
