This is a wine lovers wine bar. You won't find any Josh's, Kim's or Kendall's on this list and I'm all for it. I was equally excited to not see any Chucky Wagner "Wine Bro" Caymus wines here. What you will find is an adventure through various wine regions of the world exploring and showcasing many esoteric winemakers who make real old school wine that is just so Fcukin delicious. Wish we had more time to come back during our stay. Server we had was excited to show us their other wine menu which was huge and full of many great offerings. Food offerings, although we didn't have any, were curated to pair together with their wine selections to enhance your experience. The ambience and decor were fantastic. If I lived here this would be my go-to weekly hangout. If I decide to move to Geneva it would be because of this place and Monaco coffee and of course if a job was readily available to me. Fingers crossed.

From what I understand they were closed for a bit or seasonal? Check your socials or website for more info. We were in the area for FLX Cursion a few day wine symposium and tastings. So we walked down from where we were staying and to give you an idea it's on the same street w/ FLX Table, Viniculture, FLX Bird and more. It's on a one way street and when we went the street was blocked off. They were having a Wines of Germany Take Over it was part of FLX Cursion and the theme was Prince (yes the legend, artist and singer) they were playing his music and they had a bunch of German Sekt Sparkling we had the Rose it was perfect for the early summer evening weather. The rep who took care of us was hella knowledge and it's a cute spot inside too. It's all a back bar, light woods, tables the normal. I also believe they serve food. You either are able to order from a person or you go up to the bar and order. Trying to pay took a bit due to lots of people at the bar. The menu they have wine wise is extensive and impressive. If your in the area and the weather is nice you should check it out. There is a parking lot down the street and street parking.

The food was so so good. Smaller but full flavored dishes. We legit didn't have anything negative to say about anything we ate. The nori bar mix was so so good even our kid devoured it. Loved the cold noodle salad dish it had lots of textures to it. The cucumbers were to die for and the sauce was drinkable we wanted more! It's a cool part of town and cute little quiet street with lots to do around it. Everyone needs to know the food the chef makes is not one to miss. Staff was friendly as well!

Completely and utterly overwhelmed by the flavor and creativity that inspires this chef to create such wonderful dishes. Honesty with my experience I would have thought I walked into a bar in LA. Nowhere in upstate New York will you indulge in dishes like this gentleman creates. I came into Microclimate for cocktails but I'm so glad I decided to stay for the food. The owners of this establishment made me feel more than welcome. The flavors of the food kept me eating more than I should. The vibes of this small bar make you want to keep coming back. I wish they were open Tuesday's and Wednesday's because this could be an everyday spot! Next time you're in Geneva New York this is a must!!!

Really love this bar. The space has a lovely ambience both day and night. They have great drinks and the food is amazing. They've recently started doing brunch and it's just as great as their dinner options.

Small, chic and incredibly charming little gem hidden on a side street. Great selection of wines (and some import/microbew beers, too). The staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable. Don't stare at the menu if you're confused, ask and they'll help you find a wine you'll enjoy. The only downside to this great service is if the place is a little full, it can take a little while to place your order.

Tables set for our tasting flights

Love this place! Participated in a private event wine tasting last weekend (group of 12 people) and was very impressed with the entire operation. Loved the wine flights and found the woman managing the place (Stephanie) to be very knowledgeable and fun. The interior is nicely appointed with weathered wood details, exposed brick, wood flooring, a cool curved bar, and a nice little 'lounge' backroom. There are several options for tasting flights, and you can also buy individual glasses or bottles. Our group was divided in what we wanted to taste, so about half of our group opted for the white wine flight which compared a local finger lakes Riesling with Rieslings from around the world (Germany, France, etc). The others of us either tried Italian reds compared to finger lakes reds of the same grape varietal, or all finger lakes reds. I had the Italian red flight and was very excited to try new wines I had never tasted before, and to be able to see how our local wines (the finger lakes red in my flight was from Red Tail winery) stack up against internationals. Each pour/tasting was 1 ounce, so in total we had 5 ounces, or just about the equivalent of a full glass of wine. I especially appreciated the 'wine notes' that Stephanie provided as we tasted each wine in order, and the wine placemats where you could set your wines, make notes and keep track in case you wanted to order more of any one wine. Couple of notes - hours here are limited, so check the website. On Sunday they do a brunch, which I am definitely going to check out in the future. Parking may be tricky - there is street parking on the little side street, but it seemed full when we were there, even though a lot of the businesses on the street were closed. Linden street is also very cute with lots of other great places to check out, plus lights strung across the entire street - I have the feeling that this is a very festive street once the weather is a bit warmer. Definitely recommend!

    Moscato from france

Excellent wine choices. She knew so much information about each wine. We had a white and red sampler. Went around the world twice. We then had a Moscato from France. Clairette de die, Rhone valley France. A clean smell of rose petals, just enough sweetness and then a smooth finish. Love this place.

Could be all the wine in me talking (though I don't think so from the way everyone was chowing down), but this was some Grade A BBQ! Pulled pork was laced with sauce - sweet, sticky, not the least bit dry... the spare ribs were so tender, Smokey and flavorful and honestly not a whole lot of fat... and the brisket, well it melted in your mouth. Honestly - just way too good! Drinks. Food. Service. Company - 10 for 10!

Let me get to the details: Service: staffs were not attentive, friendly, nor helpful. The restaurant was busy when we came so we decided to seat outside. However, their outdoor tables were wobbly. Also, there were no bugs control devices nor heating lamps to accommodate us. When we asked to move inside, their response was we have to talk to the host and the hostess told us it is not possible because they were "too busy".... Yet we would see an empty table where they rather seat 2 people that come after us instead of us. On top of all that, our sever never came to refill our water. For service, this place is a zero star for me. Food: we ordered their famous heavy plate. The food size was loaded for the price, everything tastes fine but nothing was exceptional. Giving them some stars for the decent food. Atmosphere: inside has lots of booth style seatings and bar seatings. They can accomplish large parties. Outdoor seating is not great as their tables were cheap and they're seating on a slope. There were no heat lamps or bug controls so I don't recommend eating outside in the evening here. Overall: honestly, we felt ignored at this restaurant. I wouldn't come back here since they're not very accommodating or nice. Highly recommend management to train their staffs better.

The van was comfortable, clean, and roomy, and we had a blast during our jumps between wineries playing DJ and singing along to the glory of the early 200s. Our group had a couple hiccups when the day got started that Zach went above and beyond handling--like our Airbnb door not closing (bizarre, I know!), and Zach was kind enough to help us fix it so we could get on our way. All around wonderful experience; I would not hesitate to book again if (hopefully, when!) I am back in the area. Thank you again, Zach! (Also posted on Google reviews by me).

We knew it was going to be a great trip when we got in and Zak simply asked where do you want to go? We said you are from here take us where you would go. He asked white or red? We said red.. We asked him to pick some cool music and he started with Bob Seger Roll Me Away and we were hooked. And so it began, he took us to smaller wineries with excellent products, good pricing, customer oriented and less crowded. Not a single tourist trap. Zak even put up with me pestering him about the bus, the motor, the restoration - I'm a bike and car nut. He even showed me his friend's beautiful european sports car at one winery.. nice! :) This classic VW Westfalia bus has complete charm, a few rattles, old school seat belts, a few bumps on the stone road and cool tunes; she showed us girls old school cool. This ride was exactly what we hoped for, we loved that we could visit, not sit there listening to some over the top driver bugging us with a bunch of chit chat stories, bragging tales of the area or taking over our day; he just let us have fun and relax. In some of the other reviews they wanted more chit chatty tour guide, not us, we want laid back and not trying to struggle talking to each other over a tour guide. We preferred that the wineries give us the tour we wanted and information at each stop. Zak was so polite, very responsive to answered to winery, sites and local questions we had. We enjoyed that he opened the door for us and took us into the wineries and introduced us to the folks there. The folks at the wineries treated us wonderfully and they seemed to be friends with Zak we felt they went out of the way to take care of us. Overall, I have told everyone I meet that this is the way to tour if you are into laid back, peaceful rides with great places to visit. All 4 of us ladies agree, this was the highlight of our trip; Zak and the the Winewagen exceeded ALL expectations. Thanks again! Kris Atwater Oak Harbor, OH
