If you like cider, you need to check this place out. They have SO many options! They also have farm to table food! You order at the counter and then they call you when everything is ready. The ambiance is like a chill winery.

Cider flight and meat and cheese charcuterie board

We had a very pleasant visit eating and drinking outside under the tent even though it was 90 degrees outside. A constant breeze off the lake kept it comfortable in the shade. We did two different flights. The House flight the Nerd flight. Standouts were Fruit of the Bloom and Funkhouse. We got the Meat and Cheese Charcuterie board, adding on a bowl of olives. The two best things on the board were the beet hummus and the onion bacon jam. This was a perfect amount of food for two people for a light lunch. You order the drinks and food and you pick up the drinks at the end of the counter. You're given a buzzer for the food to pick it up when it's ready. You also will need to bus your own table when you leave.

I genuinely didn't expect to love Finger Lakes Cider House this much. This was technically my first (or maybe second?) cider house experience, and it fully converted me. I went as my girlfriend's plus one for her club's senior event, and it turned out to be one of the most wholesome and vibe-filled outings I've had in a while. I started off with their daily soup in a bowl - which sounds basic, but absolutely wasn't. It was a ginger sesame squash soup that somehow tasted both fancy and comfortingly familiar, like a dish from an Asian café that actually knows what it's doing. The ambiance was impeccable. Cozy indoor seating, beautiful outdoor space, even on a rainy day. We also shared the sweet flight and although I don't clearly remember the others, the Honeyoye was the clear winner. It's exactly what you want cider to taste like - refreshing, smooth, and zero weird aftertaste. I've also heard from friends (aka Max) the food's consistently good and the portions are generous. Honestly, Finger Lakes earned its 5/5. Already planning my return arc!!

Loved all the different ciders offered here! I ended up doing a small flight and also ordered a charcuterie board to share. Really liked the outdoor area since we were visiting with our kids and they had space to run around.

This place had the most perfect vibes. I was just expecting to drink some cider here, but it was so much more than that. We stayed for hours. It was a Friday so they had live music. We ordered some jerk chicken barbecue even though we weren't hungry and were so glad we did. They had a strawberry field and expansive views beyond. This was probably the most memorable part of my trip to the Finger Lakes.

AMAZING!!! I'll be dreaming about this place until I can make the trip back. Organic food, farm to table. I got the pesto tomato grilled cheese sandwich and came with a side salad. My friend got the bbq pulled pork sandwich! All so very yummy! We split the small cider flight and left with 4 bottles of cider 10/10

Well, we visited on Columbus Day weekend with great fall weather. So it was packed and the wait to get in was 10 minutes and then 30 minutes for food. In spite of that - a good visit. Very imaginative cider flights and decent upscale bar food. Damages with tip ($88) and purchase of 6 bottles of cider was $116 (10% discount).

We stayed nearby and after several trips past their driveway we quickly decided to divert plans for a tasting. It was a hot day so we enjoyed their interior AC and avoided wandering the grounds even though they looked beautiful. It's a gravel parking lot and you enter into a rustic barn structure. I believe you had lake views in the distance but this place sits atop an adjacent hillside. We sampled their fresh salads, grilled cheese sandwich, fresh breads and various ciders. The staff were really great and we had a wonderful time here. We brought back several bottles and each time we open one we remember our visit fondly. Sadly, I didn't get any food photos but everything here was fresh and well done. I'm looking forward to visiting in the future. Finger Lakes Cider House rules!!!

Everything here is fire! I'm more of a dry apple cider fan so I definitely went for the Fruit of Bloom! To-die-for! If you a vinegar fan, then you will like their salads with beets and the cheese board with carrots, pickles, and beets. The cheese left more to be desired but I wouldn't think this place would be great for that. The pesto turkey melt was ok, but would have been better with pastrami. I thought their emphasis on organic was a bit overdone (organic doesn't meant healthier or better.)

Found this place on the way to the falls and so glad we did. Food was flavorful and fresh, I got the grilled cheese and the tomato soup, boyfriend got a special I think it was some kind of pesto sandwich. Would definitely come back if we were in the area.

Our 3rd year coming here and we are always pleased with the food, service and the vibe is chill. Can't go wrong with the cheese board. The food is always fresh and the ciders are great. They have a large variety to select from. Highly recommend adding this to your list of things to do!

A really beautiful place to enjoy ciders and the fall sun of finger lakes. There are lot of different types of ciders to choose from and you can pick your own to form your flights, from bone dry ones to honey sweet ones, and also funky ones like rose style and whisky barrel aged ones. We also stayed in the loft through airbnb and it was well equipped and very cozy too. Definitely a nice place to stay/taste in finger lakes!

My friends and I came here around 5pm on a Saturday for drinks and a midday meal. The inside is super cozy and has a very warm ambiance. I had the house flight. The Pioneer Pippin and the Honeoye were my favorites. We also shared the Field and Farm cheese and meat platter, which came with bread, cheese, cured meats, and a few jams/spreads. It was the perfect size for the three of us. Overall, I really liked the vibe here. Everything seemed very cohesive.

Unique mac and cheese and good gnocchi!…read more I am debating giving the rook 3 or 4 stars... I was not a fan of the salmon mousse... far too salty and I wish it was paired with crisped bread or at least something other than Ritz crackers. I did, however, enjoy the presentation and taste of the macaroni au gratin. The square shape is very unique and I liked the cheese sauce. The lamb w gnocchi was also quite good. Pillowy and soft. The lamb was cooked well. Overall, I would maybe return. I enjoyed the macaroni au gratin as well as the lamb w gnocchi!

Loved the Rook's design choices, filled with anthropomorphic art and light yet refined ambiance…read more It wasn't too crowded when we arrived and we were seated immediately. Staff was pleasant and quick. The menu is dominated by drink options (cocktails and wines), and happy hour is 4-5pm, which is perfect for an aperitif. The fried chicken is by far their speciality, with the macaroni coming in as a distant second. But while both were delicious, I'd say the best value and taste goes surprisingly to the simple summer salad, which was crisp, sweet, tangy, and refreshing. It's only $10 for a hefty portion of food and I'd order that again anytime (and that's coming from a guy who'd never normally order a salad). My only criticisms are that the Rook doesn't have many entree choices (which may be a good thing for indecisive diners), and that it's very slightly pricey. Otherwise, it's an easy recommend for me.

Denise escorted us to a lovely table overlooking the lower dining area in front of the beautiful view of the lake. We loved the ambience of it all. Horrible service and management. Go elsewhere. Bad with allergies. Lawsuit waiting to happen…read more Food as a whole was decent. There were some hits and some misses. First off, the table we were seated at was way too small, so my dad sat at the end and all of the waitresses/waiters kept bumping into him. One even dropped some silverware on him. No apologies were made. We also made sure to note on our reservation AND tell our waitress that we have severe nut allergies at the table and they brought us a charcuterie board with nuts on it. Only because someone recognized a nut in one of the crackers did we double check after it was brought out. This happened again with the chocolate pudding. This is absolutely unacceptable. You cannot give customers who tell you they have a severe nut allergy nuts. This is how people die. Management handled this horribly. The hotel manager pretended to be the restaurant manager but then realized after talking with my dad that she, in fact, had no clue what was going on in the restaurant and corrected position as being the hotel manager midway through the conversation and went to get the ACTUAL restaurant manager. The restaurant manager herself was rude, curt, and made no effort to apologize. Perhaps this is because we were here for graduation dinner so there is a lack of incentive to win over a potentially returning customer. The service here is some of the worst I have ever experienced. Additionally, we were also never notified that they have off-menu desserts. It was only after we had already ordered that we saw someone with carrot cake that we asked. The person we were eventually able to wave down to inquire about the other desserts was rude- he gave very little explanation and when we asked about nuts in the desserts his answer was "I don't know." We had to explicitly ask him to ask the kitchen. Our waitress never cared to elaborate on the additional options not listed on the menu. Our water cups were also almost always empty- this is a minuscule mistake in the larger picture though, but still something to note. As for food, the bread was dry, the charcuterie portions were tiny (we also saw as we were leaving that they gave other tables different charcuterie boards... theirs had grapes and an abundance of crackers, which appeared to be Ritz and Club crackers which are nut-free... while ours was small and barren), and the appetizers as a whole were lackluster. Mains were solid, the chicken marsala portion was generous, noodles were mediocre though. My steak (ordered rare) was slightly overcooked. These are small mistakes in comparison. I still enjoyed the entrees as a whole. Dessert was okay. The cheesecake was slightly grainy. I liked the pudding the best. Pavlova was fine, not my type of dessert. The one redeeming quality is the view of the lake. Nonetheless, I strongly discourage everyone from coming. Save your time and money.

The place was totally empty, which is to expected at that time. Bar Argos is definitely a vibe. Think: antique chic with a touch of eccentric elegance. Ornate chairs, old-school lamps, and fancy mismatched furniture are scattered throughout, making you feel like you've wandered into a vintage movie set where cocktails play a leading role. There are multiple rooms, including one with a long table and huge windows that let the light spill in dramatically. I was lowkey stunned by how pretty it all was. Girlfriend and I shared the Clarified Lassi ($13), which is under the "Delightfully Unusual" section of their cocktail spectrum - right in between "Colloquial" and "What?!" It was fruity, creamy, and weird in a cool, sophisticated way. My Hotelie friend later explained in the car (upon mention of the drink) that clarified cocktails use a process where milk is added to a mixed drink and then curdled on purpose. The curds trap impurities, and when you strain them out, you're left with a crystal-clear drink that still has the creamy mouthfeel. Definitely checks out with the Clarified Lassi that we drank... Overall, the experience felt like stepping into a fancy secret. 10/10 would come back, undoubtedly!!

Wonderful bar for drinks. I've been here a couple times and have sat both inside (darker, moodier,…read moremore intimate) and outside (livelier, great when the weather is nice, more relaxed). Very unique cocktails! My first visit, I tried the ruby slipper, braulio sour, and the mango lassi. The mango lassi is incredible! It is my favorite drink at Argos! The ruby slipper and braulio sour were also quite tasty but I preferred the ruby slipper a tad more. My second visit, I tried the grapefruit soda (not artificial tasting at all), the Shark Juice (tasted a bit too much like cologne, wasn't a fan), and the Gigi (couldn't taste the hojicha, liked the concept more than the execution). I would get the Gigi again, but would pass on the Shark Juice. Sitting inside, I enjoyed the quieter and calmer atmosphere as well as the soft lighting. The interior decor is very cosy and slightly eclectic. I came with a friend on a weekday evening and it was pretty empty which was nice. The outdoor patio space is very nice- I like the lanterns on the walls and the whole space is quite charming. I left with a few mosquito bites though. Overall, I would recommend Argos Inn!
