Super cute spot with lots of unique cider options and great cornbread/desserts! We tried the Funkhouse, Sparkling Cab Franc, Fruit of the Bloom, and Persici (in order from dry to sweet). My favorites were the Fruit of the Bloom which is infused with ginger as well as the Funkhouse. I liked how crisp the funkhouse was and I loved the ginger note in fruit of the bloom. The others were okyay too, persici was very sweet but paired nicely with the ginger hazelnut baklava which was incredible! I am allergic to pistachios, so I loved that I could eat their baklava! We also tried the cornbread with strawberry and jalapeno butter- absolutely incredible. I am from the south and have had a lot of cornbread but this truly stands out. It came out warm with a slight crunch from the crust while maintaining the perfect crumb inside. Just crumbly enough and not too try! I also really enjoyed the jalapeno and strawberry butters- you can tell they use high quality butter, they almost reminded me of goat cheese. I preferred the jalapeno butter a tad more but both were great! The exterior is beautiful- the views are very nice. I would highly recommend coming on a warm day and sitting outside. We initially sat on the balcony but moved due to the bees. The tables underneath the white tent were shaded and bee-free. Service was pretty quick- our ciders came out almost immediately. We had to wait ~10-15 minutes for the cornbread though, but I didn't mind especially given it was warm! Overall, I would highly recommend! read more

Prices aren't the best, but considering everything is made in-house, I'd say you're getting decent value. Houses about 25 people for seating comfortably. I'd suggest trying a flight (4 samples) of cider. Can't go wrong with anything but we went with the sweet cider flight. We ordered the pulled pork, choripan, soup, turkey pesto melt, and farmers salad, along with an immunity (ginger) cocktail. We liked the soup, melt and pulled pork, but would pass on the choripan and farmers salad, esp since all meals came with the same salad anyway. We did two different flights. The House flight the Nerd flight. Standouts were Fruit of the Bloom and Funkhouse. We got the Meat and Cheese Charcuterie board, adding on a bowl of olives. The two best things on the board were the beet hummus and the onion bacon jam. This was a perfect amount of food for two people for a light lunch. You order the drinks and food and you pick up the drinks at the end of the counter. You're given a buzzer for the food to pick it up when it's ready. I started off with their daily soup in a bowl - which sounds basic, but absolutely wasn't. It was a ginger sesame squash soup that somehow tasted both fancy and comfortingly familiar, like a dish from an Asian café that actually knows what it's doing. The ambiance was impeccable. Cozy indoor seating, beautiful outdoor space, even on a rainy day. We also shared the sweet flight and although I don't clearly remember the others, the Honeyoye was the clear winner. Stopped in here while perusing the various brewery/winery options in the area due to the sign on road that said they offered farm to table bites. Even if you're not a huge cider fan, this place is definitely worth trying. The property is very nice and the interior is spacious. You can tell the staff are all very passionate/knowledgeable when it comes to cider. You seat yourself and order at the bar. We each had a cider flight, along with lunch. We don't enjoy cider often, but these were all very good. They don't seem to have a full kitchen, but they did have a decent food menu. We stayed nearby and after several trips past their driveway we quickly decided to divert plans for a tasting. It was a hot day so we enjoyed their interior AC and avoided wandering the grounds even though they looked beautiful. It's a gravel parking lot and you enter into a rustic barn structure. I believe you had lake views in the distance but this place sits atop an adjacent hillside. We sampled their fresh salads, grilled cheese sandwich, fresh breads and various ciders. The staff were really great and we had a wonderful time here. We brought back several bottles and each time we open one we remember our visit fondly. My new favorite cider place! The country vibes are amazing. They've got you-pick flowers and a little pond with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables for a nice photo backdrop. There was a strawberry field as you drive into their driveway. The cider was amazing. I got a flight. Honeoye was my favorite so I bought a bottle to bring home. The staff was super friendly and gave us lots of helpful advice. We also had a flourless chocolate tarte that was out of this world delish. I'm telling everyone about this spot! Based on our experience I imagine anything you get, you will be happy. You are welcomed at the door, given whatever menus you want for food and drink and then you go up and order when you're ready. You'll be given a buzzer to take to your table and you'll pick your food up when it's ready. The drinks you order will be done shortly after you finish ordering. It was pretty busy when we went, but there's a fairly large parking lot, plenty of seating and the cooks were pumping out meals at a great pace. Loved the rustic vibes, the locally made cheese and produce and of course the cider. This was an A+ experience, and I'm so happy I stopped in for some lunch and libations. Many of the wineries in the area don't have a lunch menu, so if you are hungry this is definitely the way to go. The charcuterie platter had a variety of meats and cheeses and some other fun accompaniments like olives and spreads. The homemade strawberry jam was probably some of the best I've ever had. Of course you can find tons of cider, and I like that they have a few preset flight combinations to help guide you. I also like that when you are done feasting they have the cutest little shop where you can purchase a bunch of things to take home. In addition to their cider they also sell some really fun local food products. The farmhouse has a large patio area where you can enjoy your food and drinks with some fabulous views of the rolling hills and the water. I spent an afternoon at Finger Lakes Cider House and had wonderful time. As I walked in I was greeted by a lovely lady who made me feel welcomed and explained all the food and drink options for me. I sat outside and enjoyed the views of the cidery and nearby lake while enjoying a house flight of cider, warmed almonds, and olives. I don't typically like sweet drinks but this flight was exactly to my liking. The sweet ciders were not too sweet but instead had so much flavor. They all paired nicely with the salty almonds and olives. I wanted to purchase a bottle and the staff kindly recommended me a cider and even let me taste a sample before I made a commitment. We really enjoyed coming here. The cider flight was nice and we selected the four most popular. Our favorites were the funkhouse and the honeoye. We even had 6 bottles shipped home for free. We ordered the pickled flight and the bread with sauces. It was good but not our favorites, just based on what we enjoy. The quality was spot on, and the little mason jars make it easy for you to take home what you don't finish. Just ask them for a to-go box. I also bought a T-shirt but was shocked to realize they are no where near true to size. Seriously, the medium would fit a small child. Unroll and check before you buy! I'll give this 3 stars but really mean 3.5, and if we mean "in this category of wine or cider tasting" places, it merits 4.5 because you won't find a better place to visit. We took a light plate of stuff to eat: a cheese plate with pickles and mustards, plus lineups of the sweeter ciders. The cheese was great with a warm mini baguette, and we loved three of the five ciders. The two others were ok, but really very dry: there is a New York cider style that favors filtered juice and ferments the cider bone dry, giving a very light and rather tart, almost bitter, glass that makes your mouth pucker a bit. I personally prefer ciders from a France or England, like you find in Normandy or the famous Newcastle ciders. Both they tend to be darker (amber or brown), sweeter, and have more similarity to home fermented cider from a half gallon of unfiltered cider at the market left in the fridge for a week or so. In contrast, bone dry ciders often seem way too dry for me. The dry ciders sell, but I bet a much larger community of potential cider fans is basically being ignored right now. Anyhow, check the Cider House out on a nice day, sit in the sun, ask for glasses of the three sweeter ciders and take a cheese tray. Pretty awesome, really! read more
