Well before the new owner & new GM starting Aug. 2025, we were frequent guests. Great value for the amenities, mostly friendly & helpful staff. When planning to stay again this wk. we found out they're NOT honoring the rates we had in previous mo's. Also. The ENTIRE front desk help is no longer there. It was comforting to have established relations w/ familiar faces/ voices and accommodating employees making you feel WELCOMED BACK! After getting the VERY strong impression from new Mgmt. that is "take it or leave it" approach and "we don't price match" and if your a corp./ business guests we will arrange a "standard rate" w/ you. What kind of response is that when calling to familiarize w/ new staff & mgmt??? Uh, NO thanks! Sad but we'd rather know this before actually checking in/ out to find how new mgmt is! Previous stays were rated 5 stars, ea. visit, but NOW had to give at least 1 star to post my experience now under new mgmt. NOT really wanting to associate w/ the Wynham Hotel chain at all, if they allow this type of attitude w/ returning guests who know how they used to be! read more

When this place first opened it was actually a pretty nice hotel I don't know what their deal is now but it cost $167 and that's about the same pricing as a nicer hotel, but the beds are complete shit like sleeping on a rock, the breakfast is mediocre at best and my kid got sick just from drinking the water out of the faucet. If you're going to charge almost $200 for a night, then you better have a good breakfast and not just a handful of yogurts and rubbery pancakes. I don't know what the deal is in this day and age where hotels have gone away from good breakfasts and make the quality of service worse, but it is ridiculous. read more

The room wasn't all that clean. In fact, found a toothpick in one of the beds. This alone lowered the rating. Otherwise, the room was worth the rate. We were exhausted and went to bed pretty quickly. Of course we had some inconsiderate people letting the stair door slam but I don't blame the hotel for that. Breakfast was typical except it offered pancakes and waffles. Not sure when this hotel was built. However it seems like it's a newer hotel. It's very clean, friendly, and the bed's are comfortable. And they offered snacks when you checked in. Not sure why they offered snacks. I don't think I've ever had that happen with a Wyndham hotel. However, the elevator was out and maybe that they're way of saying sorry. But this is a nice place if your out in this neck of the woods. read more

On the plus side, this hotel's staff members were friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and pretty nice. On the minus side, the air conditioning unit in our room was LOUD. I don't mean noisy, I mean L-O-U-D. On the biggest minus side of all--and this is NOT an inconsequential criticism--only 1 of the 4 hotel staff members we saw and interacted with was wearing a mask to protect themselves or customers from COVID. Despite signage on the property's exterior door indicating that masks were mandatory, once inside of the hotel, customers primarily were NOT wearing them and hotel staff seemed to do NOTHING about enforcement. Moreover, 1 of the 4 staff members was treating the whole COVID safety matter as so much of a joke that she actually had her mask slung over her ear, with the mask itself dangling in front of her, by the side of her face. Bottom line: If all that you care about is efficiency and a nice-looking, clean room, then this place is fine. If, however, you care about your safety and health, GO ELSEWHERE because the staff at this property are NOT taking COVID seriously at all. read more

Not one person in this building is wearing a mask. None of the workers! We have traveled to a few hotels in the last week and all hotels had so sort of plan in place. Either no room cleaning till you check out, masks inside, limited swim pool use, etc. This place isn't practicing anything. So apparently Covid doesn't exist here and everyone is afraid of science at the Microtel Inn and Suites in Naples. Places like this are creating a larger spread of Covid and with no trace contacting happening is asking for the pandemic to get bigger. read more

Super nice for price we paid. About 20 min drive to dinosaur national monument which is where we were going. Very new. Clean. Comfortable room. Had lots of space for suitcases even a window bench. This is somehow the first Microtel I've ever stayed at. Wyndham has a lot of weird chains that occupy a sort of no man's land between upper scale and overnight cheap joints, such as the Super 8s, and this kind of falls in that middle range. Pool seemed ok for wife and kid, though I did not go personally. Shower/bathroom was quite solid, probably the best part of the room. TV was dinky, surprisingly so. A lot of the furniture was of the built-in variety and there was a window seat as well, which was kind of odd. There are also not enough outlets, which is extremely weird to me for this kind of newish place. Bed was so-so. The thing that sticks out most, besides a bit of a struggle to get comfortable in that bed, was the temperature control. Apparently the cooler unit was already shot (this is a relatively new place also) as it took a solid 9 hours for it to go down 7 degrees, which also left the room far too hot. I put the control down as far as it would go (there is a limiter on this, apparently, which is also pretty annoying) for both days we were there and it was only, at best, barely tolerable. Had we not already unpacked everything, I would have requested another room, which I almost never do. As it is, given the abomination they call a breakfast in the mornings, I probably won't be too excited to stay here again. Hotel is clean, though and it still will be on my list of considerations, assuming that issue with the climate was restricted to just that room. read more

Much nicer than we expected from a Microtel. They actually had a free breakfast, the pool was available and the fitness center was open. The room was nice and clean when we arrived. Its nice to stay someplace that isnt suffering from a fear of coronavirus. read more

We stayed here for one night and it was great. The front desk staff was super friendly, and even gave us a free pass to the Dinosaur Monument Park which we were excited to explore. Also, it was a great room, with a very comfortable bed. Not to mention, the laundry facility onsite was CHEAP! $1.00 to wash and $1.00 to dry! We would absolutely stay here again. My only complaint, not making it to the breakfast in the morning which was my fault. :) read more

A very reasonably priced hotel located on 40. Easy check in. Staff was helpful with suggestions for dinner and entertainment. We stayed 4 nights and were very pleased with the service we received. The breakfast was plentiful and the usual fare most hotels put out, but the chocolate chip cookies put out in the afternoon was really a nicest treat. Would stay here again. read more

This is a very nice hotel for a town of this size. It is a newer property and very clean. Our room had two queen sized beds with very comfortable mattresses and clean white sheets. The room also had a small refrigerator, a microwave and a smallish flat panel TV. No DVD or BluRay player. The bathroom was clean and nice. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is when I made my reservations on line I was quoted a rate that I guaranteed with my CC and when I checked in at the front desk the rate was $10 higher. I showed my reservation rate to the clerk using my smart phone but she was unable to change it to what I had been promised by the reservation clerk. I wasn't upset for too long because the complimentary chocolate chip cookies were really good. Next time I will be sure to get a confirmation email that matches the price I was quoted. Even still I will come here again when I'm in town because this is really a nice property. read more

Booked room online. when we checked in we were upgraded to a suite LAST ROOM! Sounds good right WRONG. This last room is basically in the lobby. room 116 the head of the bed is up against the wall into the lobby which has the internet stations and seating area right there. You get to here every single person check in. Bed was hard bathroom was clean. nothing special. breakfast was typical for a hotel. Unless your a real sound sleeper I would avoid this room if at all possible. read more

This place is very nice. We travel to Vernal from time to time to visit our daughter and son in law. I found this hotel on line, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. My wife and I are so glad we did. The hotel staff is EXTREMELY helpful, courteous and very accommodating. Our room was very clean, well laid out and very comfortable for our weekend stay. The room/maid service it exemplary and truly exhibits valued customer service. Shower water pressure and temperature were constant with no fluctuations. The swimming pool is rather small but well kept. The workout area is the same. One very minor drawback was the very small and SLOW in room coffee brewer. Not an issue at all. One other issue we experienced was the breakfast layout Saturday morning. Guests were flowing out into the lobby area, trying to get seating in one of the business rooms but were told the room was already set up for a pre-planned party. I believe the breakfast crowding / pace was due to it being summer, travelers and of course the Dinosaur PRCA Rodeo (which was fantastic). I would in no way pin the breakfast issue on the hotel, because the entire staff (management, servers, etc) worked very hard to accommodate all visitors and make breakfast very enjoyable.
