Since the new place was absorbed by APC it has been a miserable and PAINFUL experience. She has been without a needed medication for almost 3 weeks while fighting a potentially life threatening infection. Have called the number at least 50 times and get sent to voicemail, never a return call. They actually answered yesterday and said the medication would be ready by end of day, it was not and still isn't. Went to the office last week about this issue and couldn't speak to anyone besides the front desk due to "policy". This is incompetence, medical negligence, and mal-practice. Will be contacting the states attorney and a personal one for action. This "consortium" acts and feels like a complete scam with no regard for patients.

But if you choose to walk in it's best to do it early in the morning. I did a walk in at 8:45am and I was seen a little before 9am even though it said I would have to wait until 9:15am. The phlebotomist was very gentle and had listened to my tips on what to use to draw my blood. The employee I had was quick and efficient. The waiting area was clean.

This was very convenient for me because all I had to do was check in at the kiosk when I arrived at the lab and just wait in the waiting room area for my name to be called. They have a large screen at the Check-In counter that shows your name and when you are not in line to be called by the lab technician. The lab technician called my name and took me to the back to get my blood work done. She was very professional and very nice, and made me feel very comfortable when doing my blood work. She took my blood work and made me sign out on a pad, and I was on my way within 15 minutes. This was a good experience and it was quick which I like very much. Quest Diagnostics is a good place for lab work, and would be glad to come back here again if I needed blood work to be done.

Representative said that's probably the reason I have trouble getting my test strips. They have a new meter (see my photo). I already had all of my information in their system when I registered my old meter. They always gave me great service by phone and mail. Once again I was quickly provided with a new meter. It arrived in the mail in record time. The meter and 50 test strips were free. They have a very easy ordering service for additional test strips. The cost of the strips is so reasonable I may just pay out of pocket so I don't have to deal with prescription and insurance billing with deductibles. One thing that will be to Roches detriment is my desire to eliminate Finger Pricks. I'm looking into Continuous Glucose Monitors that work using an app and your phone. Medicare will cover these Monitors. Maybe Roche makes one. I'm not sure. All things considered I probably should get a new phone first! Until then I'm very happy and always have been happy using Roche Diagnostics Medical Supplies and Services. It's great to have the peace of mind that I have a back up meter in case mine acts up or dies.

The facility was easy to find with easy parking. When I walked into the gilding I was greeted and checked in. They gave me paperwork to fill out. I didn't have to wait long after turning in the paperwork. The process for the scan went really good at first I thought it was lengthy due to me having to pee really bad after receiving the contrast. The worker she told me I could go but I told her I would just wait until everything was finished. The care I received here was phenomenal and the worker who worked with me was very friendly and she explained everything she was doing to me. I loved being able to be involved with every step.

I went to the Carmel location for a breast MRI. When it came time to inject the contrast, I…read moreexperienced extreme pain and screamed out for them to stop. The two techs came out and discovered that they had not put the IV in a vein so the saline and contrast was injected into the soft tissue of my arm. I had a bubble the size of a softball under my skin. I was sent home with an ice pack and had to return two days later to have the contrast part of the MRI repeated. When I returned for the remainder of MRI, they had an actual nurse put the IV in my arm. I proceeded to get in the machine and the techs did the rest of the MRI. But when they moved me out of the machine, they realized that the contrast and saline did not go in my arm at all. Instead it sprayed out of the open port on the IV and was all over the floor. After cleaning that up, they asked if I wanted to stay and complete the MRI and they said they would inject the contrast by hand rather than having it go in via a programmed release. I agreed to stay and on this third try, the MRI was finally completed. Needless to say, I felt like I was in the presence of very unprofessional, untrained people. I will never return to this place for my future breast MRIs.

So, my doctor suggested getting some blood work to make sure everything is working like it should. I stopped in here on a Monday morning (convenient parking out front) and after going through the double entry, checked in at the front window. After signing in and showing them my insurance card, I grabbed a seat. There was only one person ahead of me and within about 10 minutes, I was taken back to one of the processing rooms. The staff was friendly and expert at doing the blood draw which isn't a big deal for me, but I can see having someone who is calm and friendly might be helpful for the folks who are squeamish about blood or needles. I got my arm wrapped with a cotton ball and a gauze and was out the door about about 2 minutes after being taken back there! Amazing! My only caution is that this lab is across the street from another lab which can be confusing, especially if your insurance only works at one of them. This is the one on the west side of the street! The woman working was friendly enough and down to business. Overall, it was a solid experience. The parking lot was surprisingly full during my visit so give yourself a minute upon arrival.
