Came here on a Saturday night when there was a huge game on. They had tons of tvs to watch from and had a projector screen which had a row of theatre style seats in a separated part of the bar which was still visible from the rest of the place. Ambience was awesome, not sure if it was because of the game or what but everyone was having fun. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. They had a wide selection of drinks and food to choose from. I dined here last night for a late lunch/early dinner with a friend. The place was pretty empty. The service was excellent. We were offered drinks when we sat down and they came quickly. The waitress was very attentive and nice. The food came out super quick. I had a blue cheese burger. It was a bit too pink for me, but not so pink that I'd send it back. Great place to watch games! It's quite a bit bigger inside then it looks from the outside. With a huge screen in the back and soft lounge chairs you can kick back & order drinks while cheering for the Utes! This was on a weekday night so I'm sure the weekend is even more fun. I honestly just created this yelp account to see if I can reach out to the management; you have good food, good prices, good drinks, and a good atmosphere... but your service is awful. I have so many examples of showing up with friends for nfl Sunday or a late Thursday evening where we sit down, and No one comes over to us till; 1)we get up after 15 min to go get one of the server's attention 2) or we suck up our pride and wait for 20 min to finally get our drink and food order in (mind you, there are like 15 customers and about 4 servers, every time!). I cringe, every time, when one of my friends says 'let's go to mid city'- after 20 min of showing up, they see what I'm talking about, then we go to Top golf.. We had been coming here every bingo Tuesday for the past 5 months. Had always been treated great... Until tonight. Wes the bartender was so horrible and so so rude. I'm appalled. Having worked in the industry for 21 years I have NEVER experienced something like this. He was so much more concerned with taking with his friends than doing his job. We had to ask for things multiple times. And he seemed incredibly put off each time. I ordered my final shots AND MY TAB. shots. No tab. We finally asked for our tab again. And he very very rudely stated that "if we want our tab we just have to ask for it." WE DID! YA DEAF FUCK! Upon retrieving our tab he incredibly rudely slammed it in front of me. Like this dude was playing dominos. Fuck you! I tipped him .75 cents and told him his service was shit. He immediately proceeded to 86 us. What?! Because we called you out for sucking at your job? Good thing we didn't say anything about you stealing money from an inebriated customer last week, you shitty shitty person. Just save yourself and your money. Plenty of better spots. This place is bananas! Amazing food, the wait staff is very nice, they are very open to getting your game on one of their 11 TVs. I live 15 minutes away but it's so worth the trip. We came here last night to watch the LA Kings first playoff game. My Fiance was super pumped for this game, so we got there early for good seats. Mind you, until last night, this was our go-to spot for football and hockey. While eating the manager came over and asked us how long we'd be staying and we told him we were here to watch the playoff hockey game. He told us we needed to move because of a poker game happening, so we said it would not be a problem if he'd put the Kings game on next to our new seats. He told us he would do that. Sadly, that wasn't the case. He would NOT change the tv saying that tv was reserved for the Jazz game. We had to watch it on a small tv in the corner about 30 yards away from our seats. Far enough where we couldn't even really see the puck being passed along the ice. When you have loyal customers who are here two the three times monthly for games, you don't treat them like that. Hell, we did you a favor and moved and you f'd us in the end. WE will never return to this post again. Sad went you get better service at Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

We found this place a couple of weeks ago, and the place is just awesome. First of all, the staff is very friendly, courteous, and very attentive. The food is off the hook. If you get nothing else here, get the truffle fries....... Yes that's right,truffle fires. They take French fries, put truffle oil on them and Parmesan cheese. I've never had anything like them in all of my travels across the US. The rest of the food is just as good and inventive. They also have a creative drink menu specializing in a variety of "Mule" flavors. So if you are looking for a place after a motorcycle ride, a round of golf, or just need a break from the everyday, you need to check this place out. read more

I returned to try a few different menu items. This time I had the nachos (again). I also tried the pretzels and shrimp tacos. I was very pleased with everything. The tacos were filling and they put in plenty of shrimp. They are extremely messy to eat - at least for me. Still, everything about them from the shells to the ingredients to the sauce tasted great. The pretzels were served very hot. They come with both cheese and spicy mustard for dipping. The mustard was quite spicy, which I always appreciate. A beer stein is a bit pricey compared to some other local bars, but hey they have shuffleboard which is hard to find in Utah. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Cocktail servers are usually pretty friendly and notice when your drinks are empty. The preztle is okay but the beer cheese sauce is amazing! Over all the food here is pretty damn tasty. My friends and I use to go here all the time because the DJ was awesome and the environment was great. We haven't been to mid city for a couple of months. One night a my friends and I decided to check it out. We were excited to have fun and dance & that didn't go like we hoped. The servers were not friendly. It seems like they pick and choose who they want to serve. My friends and I sat down at a table and the waitresses never acknowledged us even though they looked us dead in the eyes!! We tried to wave them down but they kept walking by ignoring us. No one ever came to us so we had to go to the bar. That took forever!! Now I understand that the bar gets busy but that night we went it was not THAT busy like we've seen before!! I feel the owners need to up their game because the behavior and demeanor displayed by the mid city workers is unacceptable!! Very poor customer service!! I will never go back to MidCity and waste money on a place that doesn't care about their customers!! Point blank and a MF PERIOD!!! read more

Newer joint. Clean, spacious, mass amounts of TVs for all your sport watching pleasure. Big projector for the main games, and plenty of smaller TVs all over the place if you're a Browns fan wanting to see a game that nobody else cares about. The have NFL Season Ticket, so no missed games. I believe they have NBA League Pass as well and whatever the NHL package is called. They section off a part of the bar so it sort of feels like a living room. Kind of cozy, but with a server bringing you food and drinks as you watch the game. The only difference she isn't going to yell at you for not cleaning up the dishes afterwards. You get to pay your bill and leave your mess behind here. Everything seems moderately priced and the food is along the same lines as your typical Chili's establishment, maybe slightly better. Price is fine, food is fine, establishment is clean...no major issues. Plus the Giants beat the Eagles while I was here...so it's also good luck. read more
