We went to Ice Haüs on Saturday morning at 10 for their brunch, and we were the only ones there for a few minutes. We were seated outside under the beautiful covered patio, and we started things off with some of their yummy $2-3 little mimosas -- you can order two at a time if you'd prefer. I ordered the Traditional American breakfast, with both meats. Normally it's two eggs, hickory-smoked bacon OR breakfast sausage patties, with breakfast potatoes, and buttered sourdough toast, for $10. My husband ordered the Baby Arm Burrito. It comes with hickory-smoked bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, peppers, onions, jalapeños, and cheddar-jack cheese in a flour tortilla, for $13. The burrito came with a really delicious fresh salsa that I commandeered and used for my breakfast potatoes. Everything was really tasty & the portions were worth the $$. The patio's ambiance was really lovely, but all the grime I could see was next level. That aspect made me feel uncomfortable. Sooo, I'd recommend they scrub the mesh furniture and hose the place down before they host these daytime brunches. Holy smokes. The floor and tables were genuinely gross n' grimy. I get that it's a bar, but that doesn't justify low standards and filth... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ice Haüs is wonderful! Great food, excellent service and good vibes! They have really tasty vegan options along with carnivore options. My favorite appetizers are the fried cheese curds and the big pretzels. They have new super tasty big pretzel that's amazing. You can get Haüs beer cheese or Düsseldorf mustard for your dipping pleasure, I highly recommend everyone go and grab a pretzel!

We enjoyed the Garlic burger and the Pastrami burger - both wagyu patties. We also loved the long list of beers! I had the Not Your Father's Rootbeer and my brother had the Carlsberg Pilsner which was very good! It had a light beer/apple flavor. Service was okay, very much a dive bar pub.

I can't believe I forgot to shout out the culinary crew on my review! They were putting out phenomenal food on my visit here. The only con I witnessed was during the shift change. Night shift server's took over and it was considerably more crowded. The food was prepared and ready to go out. Some of the servers would be too busy talking with one another while that hot fresh food was dying in the window getting cold. One of my biggest pet peeves is witnessing this in real time lol. Other than that. Great local spot.

I really like this place! If you know me, I am a fan of mixed shots. Little liquid and good flavor = MMMPH! I went on a night they did karaoke, so the background noise made me feel like I was in the audience of American Idol. It was great to see everyone cheering others on, even if the singer was pumped full of alcohol beforehand. The food was great. Well, besides the appetizer of those German weenie doggies (I can't recall the name at the moment) wrapped in bacon - they were way WAY way WAY too overpriced. I think they were over $1 per piece if I calculated correctly. They were about the size of my big toe, I measured. Much salty but the mustard toned it down. The steak frites was an A+++. SO GOOD FOR BAR FOOD. The onions and shrooms were added on with an extra cost - also salty but it works well with the steak. I would order that again next time without trying anything else on their menu. I do need a revisit to see if the place is consistently good. Then, will I consider it a 5 star place for me.

This place surprised me- I had no idea it existed, it's tucked away in Murray. We went to go watch a friend play on a Friday night and they have a nice little interior stage area where you can grab food and drinks and watch a show. They also have the traditional bar space inside and a nice outdoor patio bar space as well. The service was fast and good and overall we had a great Friday night and felt like we were in college again but at an establishment that is much more fitting for us middle agers lol. The most surprising was that the food was actually pretty good which I normally have low expectations for bars pertaining to food but I genuinely enjoyed my burger and fries/tots/apps at the table. Everything they everyone got in our group of 20+ friends were all enjoyed and everyone seemed to really like the food, even those from out of state which was telling about the food quality. Overall, nice bar find- would recommend if you're in the area.

    Wish you had tasty vision!

Playing pool at FOE again but it's morning and the crew is hungry. Six of us ordered just about everything on the menu! I got a breakfast burrito and sorry to all the burritos I've yelped before but there's a new best burrito ever. Maybe because it's grilled or green or the fresh ingredients wrapped inside, the tasty red salsa or the combo of it all but it's a wrap! One of my teammates picked it up after ordering online. Easy pezzy!

Ice Haüs is a bit of a cult classic in the Murray area. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the ones who love it come often. This place can get absolutely packed but the service never falters. As far as bar food goes, it's not bad. But the drinks are always prepared well and that's all that really matters. This place is such an anomaly. Smoking friendly patio and a vegan menu. You've got to try Ice Haüs on for size and see if it's a good fit for yourself.

Ice Haus is club in Salt Lake that has been around forever and a day. We have seen many awesome live music events here. The atmosphere is perfect for those of us who want to walk into our neighborhood pub and let our hair down with bikers, regular peeps, and the occasional road weary traveler. I've met so many entertainers, djs and singers at Ice Haus. The most recent is local Hip Hop artist, Ray "Eneeone" Martinez singing his new song Fee for Freedom. He also sang with Ginger and the Gents that night. Another historical show at Ice Haus. My beer came from a fresh keg. You know the great flavor, icy coldness of a keg. Just the right amount of head and a great belch! I'm being honest. The food is

    Chicken strips

We ordered chicken strips, two of the strips are very nice, moist inside, crunchy outside. The other two are dry and seem double fried!! The atmosphere is very nice, the servers were very friendly and kind to our dog. That was a pit stop on the way to Colorado from California, so really like the nice shady bar atmosphere with chilled folks around. Just hope all four strips taste equally good!!

    Quesadilla
    Trevor M.

The quality of my photo is atrocious (bar lighting and whatnot), but the quesadilla was one of the best I've ever had. It was just a cheese quesadilla (any additional fillings would cost a few dollars extra) but it was amazing. The sauce cups each had something different, which was fun. The bar had live music, but it was so loud when the bands were playing that I could barely hear what anyone was saying. We waited to speak until the bands were not playing. The food and drinks came out pretty quickly, given how busy it was when we were there. There was pool and darts and it was a fun time overall!

Service was ok, and food came out fast. The drink I got was the highlight of the food/drink experience. I got a peach rings, it was delish. It's a cocktail that is on the sweet side. Wish we could have participated in the breaking bingo happening. It was a lot quieter than expected.

I knew from the parking lot this place was a winner. Once inside, it had a welcoming atmosphere and people inside were all having a good time. This brewery features Lager Beers crafted using traditional Bavarian/European methods...thus I had to try one...two...maybe more. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). We had the spinach & artichoke dip, the garlic burger, and Shepard's pie, as well as two cocktails - Aperol spritz and a french 75. The French 75 was served in a glass full of ice, so it didn't really taste like the traditional cocktail so we ended up ordering different drinks. The s&a dip was good, nothing special. The garlic burger was juicy and very apparently garlic. The Shepard's pie came with a roll and butter, which the butter sat on the hot plate for too long and became complete liquid. The chili oil drizzle was nice but did not add the kick in spice we were hoping for, the mashed potatoes and gravy were pleasant however the meat part of that dish tasted so dense, it was difficult to finish. With the loud DJ set on the first floor, large groups of 22 year olds on the patio, and the food and drinks being alright, I feel like the idea of Gracie's is better than some nights actually there.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Cubano, House Potato Chips, House Pickles…read more I'd best describe the menu as upscale pub fare. In general it is well executed, but largely familiar. The meal itself was fine, though somewhat standard and predictable. I was lucky enough to dine with someone who was willing to share, which gave me the chance to try both the Cuban and the Grilled Chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken wasn't listed on the printed menu. It appeared only on the online menu, but was being offered as the special of the day. Of the two, the Cuban was the clear winner. The flavor combination of meats and dairy fats made it hard to compare the sandwiches head-to-head. Every bite was satisfying, and the richness worked exactly as intended. The grilled chicken sandwich had its own appeal, but it felt a little busy. Between the piquillo pepper cheese and the bacon jam, there was a lot competing for attention. It was still enjoyable, just not as cohesive as the Cuban. For a side, I chose the clam chowder instead of the fries or salad. The chowder was decent, but it wasn't a dockside shack in Boston Harbor or something from a family recipe. I missed the deep, rich texture that comes from a buttery roux. It didn't seem like this batch was simmered slowly to developed flavors, it seemed to rely more heavily on flour for thickening. We also started with the pickle plate and the house-made chips. The chips were easily the favorite of the two - crisp, salty, and addictive. If you didn't act fast those disappeared quickly at our table. The pickle plate was a bit more surprising, particularly in terms of the generous portion size of beets, though it didn't leave quite the same impression with our diners as the chips. What really stood out the most about the evening wasn't the food. The real stars of the night were the staff. We made an online reservation for Saturday at 7 p.m., and everything went smoothly on that front. We arrived as the restaurant was coming off the backside of its dinner rush, and you could tell the servers had already put in a long evening. Even then, they remained upbeat and genuinely pleasant. They kept the energy positive and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Were they perfect? No. At one point a glass broke at our table, and we ended up doing the cleanup using napkins and our bare hands. But considering the pace of the night and the fact that everyone is human, it felt like a minor hiccup rather than a major issue. The staff's professionalism and attitude throughout the evening easily outweighed that moment. We made sure they understood this on the bill. Great hospitality can elevate an otherwise ordinary meal, and that's exactly what happened here.
