I typically go to a different location, but tried this location as I was meeting family halfway for Sunday football. HORRIBLE. Majority of their TVs were on the timed out screen after the 11am games and they couldn't seem to get the game I requested on within the 2 hours I was there. I ordered the chili. The server handed it to me from across a 6 person table (she could have easily walked around) and spilled it on me, knocked my $300 Ray Bands off the high top table, and most of the chips fell off. It was horrible and tasted like water. I didn't eat it in fear of getting sick, pushed it to the edge of the table where it remained for well over an hour and the server didn't even notice or inquire. After the server spilled the chili on me she was MIA the majority of the time we were there. We also ordered the wings. I asked for ranch instead of blue cheese. For some reason I was charged for the ranch even though that was the only sauce I received. What makes me irate is that on the way out, I brought my experience up to the manager on duty who collected my information and told me that the GM would reach out. I waited a week and heard nothing. I wrote into their customer feedback line with my experience, hopeful I'd hear back from someone. It's now been close to a month and I haven't heard anything back from any person in the company. A simple phone call or email could have resolved this situation. A simple response to my message sent to the company would have fixed it. Horribly run company. I will never return to any location to support it with my hard earned money. Word of mouth goes a long way for a company and I will only have negative words about this place now when I once promoted it to everyone. The GM being non responsible really makes sense as to why the server was horrible and looked miserable. Morale trickles down from the top. Very cold, not rude, just indifferent. The first time I thought maybe someone was having a bad day, the second time, the couple next to me left after one drink. They experienced the same thing. This bout time is bigger than others I have been to! For the food, they always have great wings and burgers. This time I got a Philly cheesesteak, however I feel like it could of used more seasonings. But the fries were crispy and great! Only reason I would do 3 starts is because of the vibes. Visiting from out of town and needed a true sports bar for the Warriors game - as far as seating and TVs this place fit the bill. Service was competent although a little edgy in its abruptness. I had to be asked to reuse the same martini glass for a second drink as it seemed it was the only glass of its kind in the entire place LOL. The food is basic sports bar fare so the menu is what you'd expect although the execution on at least the pizza could be a lot better. The thin-style crust has a good flavor and chew but there was way too much cheese loaded onto it which created an oil refinery's worth of grease pooled on top and left the middle completely soggy and (for me) inedible. When asked if pepperoni could be added on just half the pizza we got a solid no (WTF is the big deal with that small tweak?). I can't say that as a sports bar it failed to deliver on expectations but this is my feedback of anyone cares. read more

Typically not a bad place. It's what you expect. Over worked servers and mediocre food. I've came a few times to this location and have only had one good server, who has quit due to management. Today's experience was a bit silly. Starting off the phone number associated with this location is not working. I tried calling to ask for the soup of the day. We decided to go in anyways. I ordered a cup of chili verde with no dairy and crispy breaded buffalo wings. My soup came out with cheese and my wings came out smoked, not breaded. When explaining that I'd prefer the wings just taken off since literally everything I ordered was wrong. The server proceeded to explain that SHE would have to pay for the wings if I didn't want them. That is 100% illegal. My husband and I came in for lunch and sat at the bar. There were plenty of seats available. One of the bartenders immediately greeted us as we were sitting down. She wasn't chatty which I was thankful for. I'd say overall, we had a quick and easy dining experience. We both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak because my husband had it before and insisted I try it as well. I ordered mine with the bell peppers and onions diced up (they're usually sliced) and with fries as the side. The cheesesteak itself was absolutely delicious. The meat is seasoned well, there's plenty of cheese and the bread holds it all together really well. At $15 it is a little pricey, but it's a very large portion of food - really tasty food at that. My only complaint about my food is the fries. Majority of my fries were undercooked. I had to pick through them to find ones that were closer to done - there weren't that many. If the fries were cooked properly, I would've given these guys 5 stars. This is definitely a place I would come back to, just not very often. Would I recommend giving it a try? Yes. I visited this restaurant/bar on a Sunday night. The service was decent, however the setting was nothing special - very similar to a Buffalo Wild Wings. Unfortunately the restaurant was out of the food I was interested in so I ordered wings and some of their garlic french fries. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the wings and very happy with the fries. The waitress was very helpful and brought use extra fries for the table. Overall not a bad place to grab a beer and watch the game but nothing out of this world. read more

I'm so glad this bar is just down the street from me. I love the food, the beer selections, cocktails, and service at all bout time locations. I tend to stick with the half sandwich and salad and it's great every time! There's plenty of seating including an outdoor patio. Really hate that Im leaving a 1 Star review cause this bar is GREAT! but our bartender 'Ant' that was also mentioned to us is also a manager is very horrible in customer service. This guy has a straight face , no smile and not making you feel welcomed. You can tell his co workers are walking on egg shells around him. My friend and I ordered drinks & shots coupled by some food. Never once did he come to us asking if we were doing fine and if everything was tasting okay. Why do establishments give people like this authority to be a 'manager'. Makes people not want to come back again. Our total bill was around $56 and we aren't leaving 'Ant' a tip. We usually go on Sundays and Lexi is our server bartender and she is always on top of things and takes care of us , She is always friendly and has a smile on her face we highly recommend her as your server !!! In town for a couple days and found ourselves here to watch Thursday night football. Echoing the sentiment of another reviewer here... The stars here are for the food which was good. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were great as were the wings (even though I'm not typically a fan of breaded wings) and although we didn't order any of the pizzas we saw several pass us by and they looked great. The service is where things fell apart. We were a group of seven and sat at the bar. We were all on our own tickets so had a couple different waitresses serving our group. There were at least two wrong orders placed which had to be corrected, my buddy next to me asked for water three times and never got it, we ordered food that never was put thru to the kitchen (and subsequently never arrived) and one of our guys was overcharged for beers (price on the menu was less than what was charged). I am very sensitive to service staff being in the weeds and having a tough shift, but this just really seemed like a case of someone who just didn't really care. read more

The Lack of Three Stars is for the extremely crappy service that this location has continued to have since Day 1 of it being on 5600 West. If a District or Area Manager ever sees this review, please know that I sympathize with how hard your task will be at remedying the numerous service issues here. Solid 4 stars! This is a great little spot. The food was tasty and they have a great menu for a bar. The main manager guy, you can't miss him, he's 6'3 and has a MAN voice, treated me very well made sure my drink was filled and checked back the perfect amount of times. I came here during Covid. Everyone was spaced out, all the staff were wearing masks ect. Very Clean. The music was pretty metal. Literally. Soooooo much better than WAP crap. First time here while traveling to SLC for work.. Stopped by for dinner after work and sat at the bar. A server came up right away and took my drink order and gave me a menu. I ordered an IPA on tap and got the BABB Burger with a side salad. Both food items were absolutely delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy. I came into Bout Time, as a first time guest, and my server was a beautifully spirited woman by the name of Dewana. I am super picky with trying new foods and restaurants. But Ms. Dewana greeted me within one minute of me being sat. She ask me what is it I like and don't like when it comes to food. After that came a few selections. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and all that you had to offer. She was super patient and allowed me to finish speaking before she spoke to explain or clarify anything. She even got me to try a new cocktail instead of my usually nasty L.i.T lol. This woman made me feel like i'd been one of her regular customers. I didn't feel lonely as I sat and ate. Ms. Dewana made sure I was comfortable, and had everything I needed before I could even ask. I enjoyed the environment and I found myself realizing I didn't have anxiety.
