They put new reader lenses in my frames and I had to bring them back because I could only see about…read more12" in front of my face. Paul advised that this was my fault because everyone knows that "readers" means for reading books close to your face. He completely put the blame on me. I wear readers for work, and have for over 10 years, and have never had this issue. Who is buying glasses for books only - he was insulting my intelligence and refused to take responsibility for his incompetence. I would have purchased frames from them but he refused to sell them to me because, in his personal opinion, they wouldn't look good on me. What the customer likes is irrelevant. In general, I found everyone in this office to be extremely defensive, regardless of the situation - from the front desk to the person administering the eye exam. I will never be back.

I brought my rimless glasses in to have the glass replaced with a new prescription. After a week I…read moreget my glasses back and there is a fingerprint underneath the anti glare coating. I brought them back and of course the girl plays dumb as to what's wrong with them. So they send them out again to one of their labs they deal with. After over a week I am finally able to reach them (their answering machine always picks up) and the girl says the glasses failed the inspection and they have to remake the lenses again. I am so fed up with them! I used to have my glasses done in an actual optical lab and have even walked through the lab so I see what goes on. I don't know what kind of morons work at the lab they use. Update: 3-6-13. Well since their lab screwed up so badly, they made my sunglasses for free. I wasn't that pleased with the sunglasses. Some small scratches on the lens and major glare when looking through them. Its been 2 months and they have remade my rimless glasses about 3 times now. I finally got them back today and there were two imperfections in the lenses. Mid hudson gave me a full refund (after asking). I am happy with mid hudson but not the lab they use (lab is in pennsylvania).

Bright, clean and healthy feeling. I had prepared for an awful experience and it was not that at all. Amazed all fairly new equipment and technology to evaluate my vision needs. Both doctor and manager so helpful. Made it a seamless transaction. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience.
