Car failed inspection, I started asking about how to get it fixed so it could pass, and if they could help. One guy at the desk was very helpful and was trying to work with me. I was asking a lot of questions because I don't know much about cars in general. But the other guy who had actually worked on the car walked away and started cussing me out in the garage. When I confronted him and asked why I made him so upset he denied it. I thought it was extremely unprofessional to cuss out your customers and then lie about it. I should have really considered the 1-star reviews. I went to the Cleburne, TX location in June of 2023. I requested an alignment for my 2wd Ford pickup truck. I had replaced all wearable components in the front end and it called for an alignment. They said they could do it, 2 hours later they said it was done but they messed it up, the truck wouldn't turn left... another 2.5 hours later and they claimed it was finished. I am a mechanically inclined gentleman however I have no experience with alignment machines or the process. They showed me the paperwork and claimed it was within specs. I was charged a pretty decent dime aswell. They said they do not warrantee their alignments. Immediately after I went to the tire shop and bought four new tires. 1,000 miles later I noticed unusual tire wear on the steer tires. Specifically inside shoulder wear exponentially greater than that of the outside shoulder tread depth. I went back in July of 2023 to ask about what they could do, they claimed nothing could be done except for them to re-align it at my expense and with not guarantees or warrantee. I then asked about re-compensation for the now trashed tires. They denied they could help me out in that department too. I knew right then and there I was not going to proceed with anymore business with any of the Midas establishments. Midas used to be a good honest shop but they just hire anyone now, competent or not. I took my truck to a smaller local shop and they warranted their work and guaranteed their alignments up-front. Within 30mins the truck was perfectly aligned. The truck has driven great afterwards and I haven' t had anymore issue. Sad excuse of a shop. Sorry not sorry. read more

I moved to the Cleburne area about a year and a half ago and found Midas in Cleburne. What a find for me. Michael, the manager, has always treated me kindly and in a friendly way. He is great to work with and provides quick and timely service. He honors the discount coupons I receive in the mail from Midas making the cost of my visit one of the best deals in town. Worst damn place I could've gone. Took over an hour to fix my tire with a damn plug. Not to mention ponytail guy thinking he's to important to fix a tire. I was there before another customer and they skipped over me and then when they finally get to me ole ponytail pulls my truck in puts it on lift and leaves it there for 30 damn minutes before he lets anyone know if the tire is repairable or not, after that sat there another 20-30 before they touched it and put a damn plug in it cause they're to damn lazy to take off rim and repair it right. Do yourself a favor don't go here cause if they care so little of fixing a tire then no telling what else they will not care about. read more

Mike runs a a good and honest business. Trustworthy with reliable work. I drive a diesel car and they charge me less for an oil change than any dealer. They do get very busy on weekends, but that's to be expected when they are the best in town. read more

I just had a typical oil change. Everyone was their usual awesome selves. They're always nice, helpful and knowledgeable.

We brought our Jeep here last year to have the catalytic converter replaced. They did a fantastic job and the price was as quoted. We were very pleased and thought we had found the perfect mechanic for our car maintenance needs. Would have been a 5-star rating had my story ended there. Fast forward a few months. Brought the Jeep in to have the oil changed. They offered to rotate the tires for us as well. BIG MISTAKE! After less than 400 miles the front left tire quite literally fell off on US 67 between Cleburne and Keene...at 65 MPH. I was very fortunate to avoid hitting and killing a driver in oncoming traffic. Two of the lug bolts were snapped clean off; two others bent. This resulted in damage to the rim that was beyond repair. There was also over $3000 worth of body and other damage based on the estimates that we received. We had the Jeep towed back to Midas, as the tow driver commented that this looked as though the lug nuts were not fully tightened and worked loose. The owner's face went sheet white when we pulled up and he said that they would do whatever was necessary to make it right, even offering up a rental car. Well, apparently, "whatever necessary" was prefaced by if the insurance company allows it. We were told by Midas that the claim was denied because "the Jeep had too much rust that could have caused the lugs to break" according to the insurance. (We later asked the Jeep service personnel if they agreed with this assessment. They replied that there is not enough rust to have caused that kind of damage.) FOLLOW UP: after filing a claim with the BBB, their insurance company contacted me again and after a couple of months of review; we finally were able to reach a settlement. read more

I brought my car in for an oil change. It took over an hour. After driving the car approximately 5 miles, the check engine light came on. I called the owner and he said to bring the car in. After a few minutes, he came back and showed me the dip stick and that the car had oil. He said he could scan the codes for $41. I declined, and took the car home. My scanner indicated the problem was an 02 Sensor. Further investigation indicated a cable was not plugged in to the sensor. The cable is secured by a clip and is very difficult to unplug. It is highly unlikely that it just "fell off". I am not accusing, but based on this experience, I will not be back. read more

I normally take my 2013 Ford Fusion to Cleburne Ford but since they were closed and I didn't have time to make it over there. Well big mistake. The oil change(which you think they would have down) took a little over an hour to complete? When I arrived they told me 30 min. Its sad because there were 4 mechanics and only 2 customers. The customers that came in after me left before me. After sitting there he came in and made excuses to why "it took longer than most". Well if you knew this don't tell me 30 min. I will not be back to midas. read more
