They do not honor oil change coupons linked specifically to their franchise from the National Midas site. When I called the Midas customer service number, they said that they did not understand how this could be happening, and they would follow back up with me after contacting the franchise. I have not heard back from customer service, but will update this review if I do. I have yet to hear back from Midas (10 days later) with the exception of the automated Yelp response. At this point I am still not sure if Midas mistakenly issues coupons for this location, or it is a franchise operator who doesn't play by the rules of the company. I am from out of town and had a weird grinding noise pop up while I was down here visiting. I went in to get it checked out. They told me there was a $25 diagnostic fee, but when they ended up not finding any problems, the manager wouldn't let me pay. I am A-OK paying a diagnostic fee. Folks that do work, deserve to get paid. I'm pretty comfortable they checked everything that needed checking because I didn't mention a lower control arm I had replaced about six months ago, and when they came back with the results, they mentioned, "oh by the way, looks like you had that control arm replaced." Went in to have a Fuel Injection Induction System Service on my Ford Escape. When I dropped on my vehicle there were no damages to my windshield. When I picked it up the windshield was damaged, but they would not take responsibility for the damage. I was told that they looked at their surveillance camera but showed no sign that their worker damaged my windshield. Steve, the manager, gave me a number to call his manager in San Antonio, Mario Munoz. I called him that same day and he told me to call him the next day and he would give me an answer. That was 7 days ago and still have not heard from him. I have tried calling, texting, and still no answer. Steve will not help me in any way. I emailed corporate, on 5 days ago, and still have not heard anything. I called this morning and was on hold for 15 min and 51 sec, then the phone hung up. From the supervisor to the manager they have handle this situation unprofessionally. I just want them to pay to have my windshield replaced. Never will I go back again. read more

I attempted to use a coupon for an oil change in my 2017 Nissan Rouge today and was given a litany of excuses why your store would not HONOR the commitment made in issuing the coupon. It is a coupon found every day on the back of a local grocery store receipt. I was very surprised and discouraged by, what seemed to be, a classic 'bait&switch'. I purchased 4 shocks for my Nissan truck 14k miles ago. I put about 8500-9000 miles on it and started noticing some bounce when going over bumps. I went in today to get it checked out. They told me the shocks were bad but under warranty. Great. Labor not included??? How long to replace? 45minutes - 1 hour. $287.00 labor. You read right. So your charging for the shocks and about $60.00 labor would be about right. Checked online and shocks ran from $45-$65 for my truck. I have never felt more ripped off. My wife originally went in and paid over $700 to get it done the first time. Sounded like a lot but she said it was lifetime warranty. Didn't mean everything was covered. My experience here was very disturbing. The Lube Technician who serviced my truck was a complete idiot. I went in for an oil change & tire rotation. My truck is 4wd with manual locking hubs on the front axles. From the very beginning I told the service writer that the technician needs to be sure and keep the center caps of my rims on the rear wheels when the tires are rotated otherwise my manual hubs on the front axles will be blocked making my 4wd unusable. This information apparently never got to the Technician because when the tires were rotated my front locking hubs were covered by the center cap of my rims. Needless to say after waiting over 2 HOURS for my service I had to wait even longer for them to take all the wheels back off my truck and move the center caps back to the rear wheels. Anyone who knows anything about 4wd vehicles would have known not to block the manual hubs, especially someone who does this type of work for a living. Additionally about 2 weeks after my oil change I lifted my hood to check my oil and noticed they never replaced my oil filler cap, little did I know I had been driving around for 2 weeks without this cap. If you decide to patronize this business you'll need to watch over EVERYTHING they do and then double check their work before you leave which includes opening your hood and making sure nothing is missing because this establishment can't be trusted. I would rather pay more money for faster & dependable service. read more

The service here is a breath of fresh air. Everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered suggestions on food in the area, since I arrived around lunch.
