I explained I was looking for an alternative to dealer prices approaching 200/hr for labor. I had received some quotes from my dealer for work to compare after the promotional inspection I received for 45 dollars was complete at Rob's. Rob's must be short for robbery after seeing the quotes for comparable dealer work I was floored at the cost of their comparable service work. Are you guys kidding me I am not stupid all the quotes and estimates from Rob's went in the trash I felt I was getting ripped off. I felt misled when I told them I was looking for a lower priced independent repair shops to my dealer and got insane pricing for their labor and parts markup. Maybe they get away with it for high end cars very high end but "come on man"!

The reason they gave was "it's a hard car to find and they sell really fast, if you don't buy it what if the next guy wants no miles on it". It's a baseless argument. The car is only 42k, with just 200hp. It's not some exotic sports car, it's a fast selling hybrid. Maybe I would have bought it but there's no way in hell I'll ever "buy first drive later". I can't recommend enough just how unpleasant that is for me. I can't even imagine how they're supposed to make a sale without a test drive.
