I just recently moved to GB and found these guys on Yelp…read more I've had an obnoxious squeaking in my car for a while now and I saved up a chunk of cash to get it fixed. About $1,000. I took it in to them to get it diagnosed and they told me it was my upper control arm and it would only be like a $250 fix. Fantastic. They then told me that my brakes were down to pretty much nothing and they would need to be replaced. This is something I could've done on my own for much cheaper but since I had the cash, I figured why not just have them do it, they were all very nice and it looks to be a relatively new business, so I told them go for it. With the brakes added on my bill was now $1,100. Over my budget, but again, no biggie they seem like good guys. When I picked it up and drove it home I noticed pretty much immediately that the squeaking wasn't even so much as muffled, it was not fixed at all. I'm not sure why they wouldn't test drive it after to make sure that the problem was fixed, especially because that's the whole reason I brought it in. Shortly after this my car starts beeping at me nonstop saying that my parking brake is on, and when I try to turn it off it says parking brake function is limited and to service immediately. Now, this could definitely just be a crazy coincidence, but the timing of them just replacing my brakes and then that happening is like I said, crazy. So I call them up and talked to the owner and he told me to bring it back in and they would make it right. They then told me that the parking brake wire got frayed somehow and they fixed that up free of charge. Great, thank you. But they then told me that the squeaking was actually the Lower control arm. This control arm is DOUBLE the price of the first one and that's at their cost. $513. If I knew this the first time I went in I would have just got that replaced and done the brakes myself. So instead of a 1-2 day $500 fix, I spent over $1600 and they had my car for about a week all together. When I picked it up I asked who I believe was the owner to take it for a drive to confirm there was no squeaking, and he said no problem. I planned on telling him that I was pretty upset and wanted him to work with me on the price considering it doesn't even seem like I needed the initial control arm they put in. I was gone for 5 minutes and when I came back the employee told me he had just left. So I'm pretty ticked off about that too. All in all, like I said everyone I spoke with was very friendly. Other than that I honestly feel completely ripped off by these guys.

My daughter goes at college at UWGB and her car broke down just outside of campus at 4:30 pm. We…read morelive two+ hours away. Googled auto repair in Green Bay and Marv's was the first to appear. Called and got Laura. She heard my desperate plea and sprang into action. She had a tow truck meet my daughter after hours and had her towed into their shop. The next morning she called to ask if we had had any repairs to the driveshaft recently. We had used a shop near our house about a year ago. She sent me pictures of bolts that had come loose and caused damage to the parking brake cable. The other shop hadn't tightened the bolts. Laura worked with the other shop to have them cover the cost of repairs. I can't say enough about the service and care they gave us. It felt good to know that Laura cares about safety and doing the right thing. I will have my daughter use them for all future repairs and maintenance.

Brian has always remembered my first name, and been nothing but honest. I had a dealer tell me i needed brakes all the way around, i took my car to Brian, and he checked it out for free, told me what percentage of pad i had left on each wheel. Turns out i could wait probably almost a year before i needed work. Another time i had the battery die in the car, and i took it in to have it checked out, and he said i needed a new battery. I asked about how much, and i was shocked how much batteries were, so i thought i would check around, and found out Brian was less expensive than Fleet Farm, Walmart, and Costco. Plus the install was done while i waited. He also looked at the vehicle all around, brakes, exhaust, and fluids and where a lot of places would charge for the inspection and fluids, all was done for no cost. Great guy

Even if you ask for the first appointment of the day they still add a 2 hour wait for no good reason unless they always add fake time to the job. That is the only thing that makes sense. Go elsewhere to avoid getting ripped off!!
