I dropped my car off early in the morning with a very flat tire I called around 7:45 and Rob answered immediately.

So grateful for these guys. They know what they are doing AND they are HONEST with pricing. I…read morestarted going here a few months ago after my forever mechanic closed and I feel I lucked out. So I wanted to share to help someone else find a good mechanic. They will not rip you off like a lot of those other places. Services that I have had so far: oil change, car check, tire rotation, new wheel bearings and some other stuff around this done, they have fixed my tire on another occasion and most recently helped me to secure something to my car for a fraction of the price another place was trying to charge me. You can't go wrong. Not to mention their waiting room is very comfy and has large cushioned seats while you wait. They also have a fair price on gas also. Even if they are out of your way- worth the trip. Not to mention staff are very friendly.

I bought a 1999 chevy suburban that needed to have the fuel injectors replaced. I had it towed to…read morepullens for the repair. They replaced the injectors but kept having problems with the vehicle sputtering on the test drive. Over the course of the next 3 days they continued to try to diagnose the issue, blaming it on spark plugs, distributor and other things. Finally on the 4th day the mechanic found the problem, he had bent a pin on the injector harness when plugging it in. Ok, things happen and they owned up to the issue, no problem. I paid for the truck and went into the parking lot to get it, it barely starts and immediately throws a check engine light. The mechanic scans the truck and discovers an ignition fault, says it must have been a leftover issue from earlier. I take the truck home and over the next couple of days the truck runs erratically. I start to investigate and find that the mechanic at some point while doing the injectors broke a ground wire and in repairing it spliced it with a DIY connector that he didn't even crimp properly or put heat shrink on, as soon as i touched it it came apart in my hand. I repaired the wire properly so i could drive the truck. A few days after that the truck started to have a rough idle and set another check engine light. This time in poking around i find that the fuel lines were never fastened down correctly nor were the intake manifold bolts ever tightened so the issue was a vacuum leak. After bringing it back to pullens they determined that the mechanic had bent the fuel lines when reinstalling them. They had the truck for another 2 days to fix that, or so they claimed. This is where it gets interesting, the owner Vince calls me at 4:30 in the afternoon and tells me the truck still isn't running right but that what they have repaired 3 times now isn't the problem. He tells me that the fuel pressure is low and tries to sell me a fuel pump and some ignition parts. Little did he know that i had put a new fuel pump in the truck a few days before and checked the pressure and it was perfect. When I told him that he seemed a bit shaken and became condescending and asked if i wanted them to continue to work on the truck. I said no, I have lost confidence in you guys at this point, I want my truck back. He tells me I can't have it tonight as it is in the bay and apart. I will have to wait until tomorrow. Something didn't seem right so i drove to the shop to find my truck together and parked out back. He had lied to me. I used my spare keys and brought the truck around to the front and went inside to get my other set of keys, mind you, this is warranty work, I don't owe him a penny and was told as much by the service advisor Brian. I ask Vince for my keys and he refuses, gets belligerent and insists i can't take the truck and will not give me my keys. we argue, I tell him I am taking my truck and he tries to say i have an outstanding bill for $20 in gas for the test drives! I take the truck home and test the fuel pressure to find it perfect as i suspected. To my surprise I also see how they decided to remedy the bent fuel line issue by putting a nut under the line and then tightening the line onto the nut. All this to say that these people are amateurs that should not be trusted with any type of serious repair. They are basic mechanics with the labor rate of an elite shop which they definitely are not. He wanted to keep my truck to try to find a way to recoup some of his lost labor time due to his own mechanics incompetence by selling me things he knew i didn't need. When that backfired he became belligerent and confrontational.

I needed some custom work on my Jeep, and, Hurreys was recommended by the Jeep club…read more I then found out WHY they are so recommended... the work was flawless! Not only did they install a snorkel, they smoke tested it and made sure it was sealed. Not only did they weld sliders and a bumper, but the welds were works of art...and a lot of thought went into the depth and angles to get over rocks, the smoothingnof transitions and fit/finish, etc. They even cleaned up the frame rust and sealed it "because it bothered them to leave it like that", as in, for free, because it meant the end result was better. They installed a full set of skidplates, and also checked the articulation, extended breathers and other lines, repaired cracked fittings and other things "while they were under there" They installed both forward and rear spotting cameras, replaced the heater core, etc. A LOT of work... with updates as they went. Dan is a delight to work with. I cannot recommend Hurreys enough, they are AMAZING!

The quote was straight forward, organized and professional. They installed a high on my Chevy Colorado and it went smoothly and all sensors on the vehicle have been working properly since the installation. Dan was very friendly, knowledgeable, and has excellent customer service skills. Also, I was able to talk to the tech/mechanic who did the installation and I can say the same for him. This place is legit, staff are good people, and the workmanship is A+.
