I typically use a Master mechanic (for my car brand) at another location but knowing that this location offers similar service makes this a great find. The front desk , Todd creates the atmosphere of trust/friendliness that makes customers want to return here. I hope management understand the GEM of a worker they have here. I found this place very credible, honest, knowledgeable, and fair on the issue and provided options to assure what I needed to fix will get address. As a result, I actually signed up for a Midas account and will recommend them to family and friends. With an appointment, they kept the time as best as they could. Besides brakes & suspension and struts, they also do minor things like Oil changes. Tires can be aligned and their alignment prices are similar to dealer discount prices. The location is right off the 15 freeway. There is free coffee while you wait. There are restaurants (Mexican ) fast-food taco bell, McDonalds, Jack in box nearby. The waiting area is spacious and very clean, not too hot or cold (but bring a jacket since it is breezy outside in morning). I forgot the gentleman's name at the front, he was there both times that I went and I can tell that he absolutely loves his job and taking care of his customers. I didn't even ask him the price match, but I told him that I got a slightly cheaper price and another Midas and he didn't even hesitate to say "ok, I'll match it for ya!". Their prices are more than fair and this independently owned Midas might be my new local shop as I just moved down to Lake Elsinore. They are fast, but not too fast and take the perfect amount of time that I would want them to take on my car to be able to do a good job and make sure that everything is in order. My boi Todd (store mgr) has the best customer service around! Came in the day before christmas looking for some hard to get tires. I drove to 9 different places around "Midas" and I called about 6 or 7...everyone was rude, and gave me a huge quote at almost double what Todd told me. In the end I made it back to Todd 30 min before closing and he set up my appointment for 9am! Tires came in right at 9 and his team was so kind, & efficient. good energy, fast service, and accommodating. I had gotten a flat tire the day prior and Todd the manager at the front desk was very helpful and kind on the phone, trying to guide and help me through the situation. The following day I called again asking if they could quickly change my tire for me because it was my birthday and he gave me a great price on a tire and got me in and out of there in 30 minutes so I could make it to my birthday party on time. Todd is personable, funny and has a welcoming attitude! I also want to shout out mechanic Anthony who replaced the tire on my car fast and helped put on new license plates for me. Okay listen, they have a great deal for an oil change I will say that. They will tell you it takes almost 2 hours to get it done though so beware and be ready to sit and wait. I had the pleasure of speaking with Todd and he helped me out today. I went in to get maintenance on my vehicle and after waiting for over an hour they proceeded to explain that i needed to pay for all these services because if I didn't get them that my vehicle would break down instantly so i fell for it and they persuaded me to pay over 2k in services but when i got my vehicle it was way worse than when i brought it in i demanded to get a refund but denied my request because they didn't hear anything wrong with my vehicle and when clearly i could hear that sounds it made when I drove it and when it was parked i would not recommend anyone to go to the place they will mess up your car and scam you for your hard earned money ! read more

After Jason let me know they'll run a full diagnostic test he let me know my engine was out I do run it from Elsinore to New Port Beach 5x a week for work so I was bummed tf out! I came in for an oil change and was told I needed a new air filter, I had mentioned that I would just buy one on my own without them replacing it. They failed to put the old air filter back and I was driving with the intake open and not fully closed, with no air filter at all. I noticed my car did not sound the same and that's how I found out the air filter was not there. I live hours away from this location so there could have been damage to my car if I would not have noticed. Also, I was not even informed by Midas that this had happened. I went to the store to let the manager know and he said "oh I just noticed the air filter was left in the shop but I didn't know who's it was", he made it seem like the situation wasn't a big deal and so nonchalant. I will not be taking my car here again because they seem so careless about customers and will not want something like this to happen again to my car. read more
