i had a schedule today, tuesday, 21Jul2026 at 2PM, and i arrived 2min early, checked in and waited...45 min passed by and i can see my car is still in their customer bay area, approached the guy i talked earlier and he told me that my car is next in line...after a few more minutes and still no work has been started, i decided to cancel it and asked the same guy if he can just reschedule me on thursday, 2 days from now, same time at 2pm. he confirmed my schedule and told me that i'm all set. upon arriving home, i checked my mobile app and there was no schedule made for me. i really don't know what to say, this is just a very bad experience for me and this is my first time with them, probably my last as well. read more

And felt really bouncy I felt uncomfortable so i called and told them My husband went back for me for them to tell us nothing is wrong and the roads are bad out here ... very bad customer service Went back to walnut where throughly checked the car and told me my another tire had a nail in it and after they replaced the tire in Lake Elsinore they did not balance it I'm so disappointed I had to drive all the way out to walnut to-get good service.... I had inspection done to assure that I didn't spend all my money on a van that needed work. They took a bribe or overlooked work that was needed to be done telling me it was excellent condition. When I called Firestone, they gave me an area manager. He assured me that the overlooked work would be done at no cost to me. Then he was fired. And I was directed to the regional manager. This manager said we will do The work and proceeded to put me off for several weeks and kept me waiting. Then after 3 months told me the best they would do is 10% off. Do not get your car inspected there and do not do any mechanical work there because this company can't be trusted and is not a company that sticks to their word. I scheduled an appointment the night before taking my car for an alignment. Turns out the appointment system is not live. It literally takes someone at the location to confirm availability before they add it to the schedule at which point they email you and confirm. I was a few minutes early, and was quickly "put off" by the overwhelmed attitude they had. "Yes we can align it but you have to leave your car" . I didn't plan for that and had no one to come and get me. So I settled in for what I expected to be a few hours. I watched as they greeted every customer with the same exasperated reception... "yes sir we can fix your flat, but you'll have to leave your car", Yes ma'am, same. on and on. I get it, you are short handed and tactfulness isn't in your vocabulary so you go straight to a negative reception. No after they got sick of me visually judging them, my car was miraculously pulled in and lifted up on the hoist. The alignment was being done. I was informed I needed tires and I was allowed to visually inspect the car. They were 100% correct, and honest about it. The guy doing the alignment was great, he was knowledgeable and informative. They knocked out my car, put it on the ground and told me the car was done. I asked the guy at the front counted if he is going to quote me tires and he said, "I already did, they are on your receipt I just emailed you" and gave me back the key. Appointment system 2 stars - easy, but not finished until confirmation. Reception - 1 stars, So off-putting. But, I had lifetime alignments so put me at ease. Alignment technician - 5 stars. Post work information - 5 stars Lifetime alignments - 5 stars (invoice was $0.00) this time Actually trying to close a sale - 0 stars. What good is a buying a flashlight and no one suggests batteries? Speed of actual work, - 5 stars.. I was out of there in an hour. I will go back and probably judge them again, maybe next time, they'll sell me what I need. read more

My wife blew the engine on her jeep. She was stranded so she towed it to Firestone Lake Elsinore. They rebuilt the engine to the cost of over $6,000.00. 4 months later the engine is acting up and now has coolant in the oil. Basically, the engine had a blown head gasket or cracked block. Inspection by a reputable jeep mechanic revealed the wrong motor mounts were used, the heating coil wasn't flushed and the coolant is full of sludge. Who even knows what they did to the engine. Im now ordering a crate motor. This location is not trustworthy and they appear to not care about quality of service. Just look at how the jeep was returned after having the engine rebuilt. I am writing to formally submit a complaint against one of your employees, Lawrence, at the Firestone location on Diamond Drive in the Lake Elsinore area. On November 26, 2024 I brought my vehicle in for a complete car check and paid for an inspection of my battery. Lawrence assured me that my battery was in good condition. However, the very next day, November 27, my car failed to start, and upon calling roadside assistance, it was discovered that the battery had low voltage and needed to be replaced. Upon revisiting the Firestone location and confronting Lawrence about the situation, he displayed unprofessionalism and a lack of accountability. Despite the paperwork clearly indicating that the battery required replacement due to low voltage, Lawrence initially attempted to deflect blame by suggesting that I had left my lights on. Subsequently, he acknowledged the need for a battery replacement under warranty upon seeing the invoice from yesterday that was noted by his technician, but then provided me with a lesser quality battery than what I had originally paid for. I had requested a Platinum battery, which I had paid for in full, but Lawrence insisted that the Gold battery was equivalent and refused to rectify the error. 3 years warranty versus a 4 year warranty is a big discrepancy, and price is big difference as well, Despite presenting him with evidence from a previous invoice indicating my purchase of a Platinum battery and highlighting the discrepancy, Lawrence was dismissive and provided unsatisfactory responses, he was trying to have an alternate facts to cover he is not a liar, and trying his best to cover for his mistakes, as I told him, if he did he's job right the first time, I won't be In the situation, not only I wasted my time yesterday, I had to come in today as well and need to come back on Monday, because it still not the right battery, it will be my time wasted, while I've informed Lawrence, that he is getting paid when he shows up to work. My time is valuable as well. Furthermore, Lawrence displayed a disrespectful attitude and failed to acknowledge his mistakes or apologize for the inconvenience caused. His lack of attention to detail, inaccurate information, and failure to address customer concerns reflect poorly on the standard of service provided at Firestone. I expect a resolution to this matter promptly, including the installation of the correct battery that I paid for and an apology for the unprofessional conduct displayed by Lawrence. So I hit my 120k mark and wanted it inspected. I've had this jeep for 90k miles and it's only ever had a throttle body problem. I told that to my new mechanic Brendon and he told I possibly didn't need to of had it replaced (I forgot what he said). This was my dad's and my brothers mechanic for 20years at our local gas station. I always thought he was shady. So he told me a few things that Valvoline instant oil change as said before. He suggested coming back when they had there sale last weekend saving me 100 to fix what was non essential. He did my brakes, right axle, belts, 2 new tires and more. I got my car back in 5 hours after having an appointment 3 weeks out. John even gave me a free car wash bucket with 8 items probably worth 30bux. Love this new place. Very appreciative to Brendon who gave my car it's much needed over TLC to my jeep. Thank you Brendon. I recently got my car serviced here and I had an AMAZING experience. I have an old car with a lot of issues. I was terrified to bring it into an auto shop because I know shops can overcharge or do repairs that aren't necessary. John and Clark were so honest and kind to me. They were open about everything they were doing to my car and explained what the repairs were (I know nothing about cars.) I have never felt more comfortable at an auto shop before in my life. After a referral from a friend I stopped by this Firestone Auto Care facility for a set of new tires. I was immediately greeted upon entry and the friendly counter person helped me choose the appropriate tires for my car. There was a couple of promotions that he helped me take advantage of that saved me money which I appreciated. The tires for my car were not in their existing inventory but after a phone call, they were on their way and before long, they had arrived and were being mounted, balanced and installed on my car. They recommended an alignment due to the uneven tire wear on my old tires which I appreciated, however it had just been done a few days previously. So far, a pleasant experience and a relatively quick turnaround. Before long, my car was brought out for pickup. My car was equipped with upgraded chrome wheels and I had matching chrome valve stems installed a while back for a first class appearance. As I examined the newly installed tires I immediately noticed my chrome valve stems had been removed and basic black rubber ones installed in their place without my knowledge or approval. When I mentioned this to the counter person, he simply replied that they replace valve stems as a regular practice when installing new tires. I agreed that this was a good idea, but I would have expected to be consulted as to whether I wanted the same chrome style valve stems as replacements or another style. Unfortunately, this discussion did not take place. Neither was there any offer to correct this mistake and install the chrome style valve stems as were previously on the wheels. I left with mixed feelings. The staff were friendly and seemingly experienced in the tire selection, purchase and installation process. The valve stem issue, however earned Firestone Tire Center but three satisfaction stars, rather than the five I would have liked to give. I am now going to take my car to a different tire shop to have the rubber valve stems removed and replaced with the same chrome style as my car had previously....at an additional cost to me of course. read more

My mother had another question about the coolant in the car being low (being as though its 100+ degrees outside) & called back to where the same John answered the phone again & while my mother was speaking letting him know that I (her daughter) previously spoke to him, he decided to hang up on her. Unsure of if the call was dropped we immediately called back to where our call was not answered. She is a Retired Marine Corps Veteran with PTSD who wanted to address her concerns with her coolant being low on the car and what he did was extremely disrespectful and uncalled for. Took my car in first thing in the morning, talked to a guy named John for a full brake service. He Said it would be a couple hours so I took an Uber home. He called me back at 9:30 to give me a quote, I talked to my wife and called back to confirm the service. I sat in my house all day with not one phone call, I called at 4:30 and got a continuous ring on their phones when they are supposed to close at 6... these clowns didn't call me once and they didn't even touch my car. Then my wife on her way home from work, got attitude from the employee when she was trying to get my car out of their garage saying "what?! He doesn't want the service anymore??" This facility used to have a beautiful landscape and was an asset to the way our city appearance. Now its a dump where homeless tweakers hang out. They had numerous Big Pine trees and for some ridiculous reason they cut 3 of them down at about 20' leaving the stumps/poles. All the grass is dead and I've called the management to complain and they said they were gonna take care of it and never have.. I have been a Firestone customer for years but at the other location a block away, today is the first time I have dealt with this location. Jimmy always took care of me and honored my warranty & the Firestone contract I signed. I walk in and Lawrence is speaking with a customer and Jordan is standing across the way. No hello or be with you in a minute, nothing. 10mins later Lawrence says uh oh you have a receipt in your hand let me brace myself. I explain I bought 50k tires & I put 20k on them and their bald now I need new ones and here is my warranty paperwork. Jordan comes over and takes over. He states this paperwork is from the other shop and they were shady and this is why its no longer there, they gave warranties when they shouldnt have. I can see you put the wrong tires on your car so that makes the warranty null and void. I said I paid for these tires that came with this 50k warranty and have my paperwork to prove it. He said well I will accept it this time but if you dont put the right tires on your car you dont get a warranty, your car needs run flats. I said yes I know this but I had told Firestone that my car runs so rough and Firestone advised these tires that I purchased that are on my car now because they would be more of a smoother ride. I did not choose these tires Firestone did. Jordan continued to bash the other store and its employees and schooled me on my car and how it operates. I think Jordan being the service manager should be educated that no matter which location you work at its still a Firestone company, speaking poorly about another location and its employees, your representing Firestone as a whole. Also because I am a female there is no need to talk down to me. And dont assume I do not have knowledge about my car or cars in general. I left and went home and told my husband about Jordan and we went back up there to pick up his truck. My husband told Jordan you need to learn to speak to females with respect. Jordan leaned over the counter and was very close to my husbands face, very inappropriate. He told my husband your wife is bringing her car in, tomorrow morning I will speak to her. My husband said no you wont I am bringing her car in and you can deal with me from this point forward. Since when does a service manager behave like this? Is it an age thing being hes very young? Is it an authoritive thing due to being a "Manager" you think you are above everyone? Customers bring income, without income you dont get a paycheck, maybe you should treat customers better. Word of mouth spreads far. If a customer has a Firestone signed contract/warranty in their hands, how can you tell them its null & void? I do not feel comfortable going into this shop by myself without a male present. Seems females get talked down too & "schooled" by Jordan. In this day and age you think this type of behavior would not still be happening to us females in autoshops. Little do they know us females are also auto mechanics, engineers or race car drivers among many other male dominated roles. What a dissapointment this visit was and we still need to go back tomorrow for my tires. Now Im worried about my car since this happened. BUYER BEWARE!! Brought my car here for an oil change, picked it back up and it wasn't going into gear properly. The car was running fine prior. We checked under the hood and there were 3 vacuum lines disconnected, the air filter was missing and the air filter cover was unlatched. We reconnected all of these things but it did not solve the problem. Took the car back in an attempt for them to make it right but they had no interest. After further inspection we took off the mass air flow sensor and someone put bearing grease or some kind of thick grease to block the sensor. Once we cleaned that off the car ran fine. This was their cheap attempt at getting more business from us which is backed up by their list of "recommendations" for "repairs". Unfortunate that they tried to take advantage of us in this way. 7-19-19: I have a Firestone National Fleet account I, drop off my work truck at NOON for an oil change and tire change, guy tells me no problem, well call you when its ready. The whole day goes by, I GET NO PHONE call so I show up at 6 pm figuring theyre gonna close...and my truck should be done since its been 6 hours. As I pull up I discover my truck is on the lift, and the guy says, "Sorry bro, The authorization just came in, I dont know what to tell you, Youre gonna have to leave it overnight." Keep in mind...THIS IS MY WORK TRUCK. He tries to explain the work authorization took 6 hrs to come in. What a joke! Never have I had this problem before. I have taken my fleet truck to firestones before and have been in and out in 1-2 hrs while I wait.. I ask the guy to give me back my truck and he says, "Ok, what time you bringing it back in the morning, I say, "No thanks." He has the nerve to ask me why.... AFTER I WASTED A WHOLE DAY LEAVING THE TRUCK THERE...He proceeds to add other smart ass remarks about, "Next time Ill call you every hour and keep you updated." UNSAT. I then ask for an receipt for the printout of the oil change, and the guy refuses.. says now he has to adjust the invoice and TELLS ME TO WAIT....AFTER 6 HOURS... UNSAT. As Im standing there, another customer walks up and starts arguing about the poor service on his vehicle. I also saw how one employee suggested a cold air intake on a customers car to improve gas mileage...UNSAT. Obviously the training and customer service here is lacking. UNSAT, dont come here. I will tell everyone I know not to come here. I wouldnt bring my vehicle to Firestone, but since thats where my company has the maintenance account.. I have no choice. I basically had a 6 hour oil change done on my truck. Solution for you Firestone: #1: If youre falling behind, or if it looks like youre not gonna be able to start on your customers car one hour before closing... you may want to give them a heads up.???...versus inconveniencing the customer and TELLING them the vehicle will need to stay overnight. read more

If you want honesty and integrity and to have your car fixed correctly the first time, then this is the place. I just spent the best money on getting my suspension overhauled. My technician who did the work was a guy named Dan. He showed me where my control arms were leaking, showed me my ball joints had movement, and how my struts were just trash! Mike gave me the best value for my dollar and was able to get me the brand of parts I wanted. The whole experience really was a WOW experience. They made everything super easy. Dan had my car completed when Mike said he would. I'll tell you what, my car didn't handle as good as it does after Dan worked on it when I bought it. Where has this guy been all my life?!
