Honest Mechanic's Shop--This shop is completely honest. I bring both of my cars there and I drive from Glendora to Lake Elsinore because this is the only shop I can go to and expect honesty. I have gotten quotes elsewhere and then brought my cars to Luke and found out the quotes were lies. These people are decent, they are honest, and they are very professional. The work is good. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I took my truck to get the driver side window fixed. The window fell into the door. Eric said he could get it fixed. The door lock was also a problem. When I picked up the truck, Eric had done a temporary fix on the window and explained the glass had to be replaced so he did not charge me. I drove home and noticed the low fuel light, the engine light were on , the gas tank meter and my dome lights were also not working. I called him but the shop was closed on Sunday. I left a message. I called and took the truck in. When I called, he said he could not fix it. He suggested I take the truck to the dealer and get it fixed. Using the dealer as a way out, because the dealer is not going to care who done what to the truck, he said if it was something he did, he would pay the bill. Eric knew there were no issues before he laid hands on the truck. He also had done oil leaks fixes on my Jetta anthe car is now leaking. I am posting pictures and videos to show how his character changes once he decides to not respond for his bad work. It should be noted, I offered to pay him for the temporary fix on the truck's window but knowing he had broken my and caused problems to my truck's electrical, he declined perhaps thinking I would just let it go. I mention it because it speaks of my character, I would not invent and he drove the truck and did not see any other issues before he worked on it when he drove the truck into the shop from the parking lot to work on it (because there were no lights, engine or low fuel) and saw them after when he drove the truck out of the shop and to the parking area but did not tell me. I also found schematics he had printed and left in the truck. He played with the relays and tried to do things guessing but did not fix what he had broken. Now, in his shop, there are multiple engine lights on adds that state he fixes then but he is over his head in electrical. I would not have him or trust him or his shop to get any work done. Hopefully, this won't happen to you. Shop around, there are other shops. He is also rude once he cannot fix something although he is nice when things go right. He is under qualified and does not assume responsibility. Take my experience and Do not fall for his nice demeanor when he is first seeing you, you will regret it when you find out the hard way that he will treat you as he did me. Take no chances. This morning a new issue that proves this man is not honest. The high beams on the passenger side work but not on low beams. Which means he got lost tinkering with the relays. He left a relay diagram inside the truck. Once he could not fix it, he gave up. read more

Took my car to johnsons auto to get fixed because it was not going over 40mph. will said it was the catalytic converter. After replacing it for $2000 it still did not work. Called back to tell them and they said they would send a tow truck the truck never came. Then Eric called and said he would do a flush Eric called back to say he did The flush and that was not the problem when I showed up to the shop Eric was not there according to his team they never touched the car the car has been sitting there when i.called Eric to confront him he stated he could not all of a sudden find the Invoice or the codes he checked for and that he deleted it car is also worse now than what it was before I dropped it off now he is saying it is the transmission beware!! Came in on the other day was quoted 194$ for Friday to put my catalytic converter I just paid 1200$ for from Honda so here comes Friday 9 o clock I walk in cat in hand ready to get it put on for 200$ well he tells me the guy that did the quote was wrong proceeds too tell me it's 496$ I'm like nope I'll take my business elsewhere dude in freak panic tells me I'll do it for 250$ I'm like naw bro I walk out dude chases me out the door and is literally begging me I'm like no don't bother me this guy has the audacity to call me 15 mins later saying we will make it right I don't care I don't want your business I found a honest person who did the work in a hour and a half for half the price I left a soda in my cup holder it wasn't even flat before he got done that's how quick he did it swap my cat connected to my manifold but after my terrible experience If you care about your vehicle I would take it somewhere else along with your money I'm being a hundred percent honest do not recommend at all seriously don't waste your time or money lol read more

I literally can't say enough about the owner of Johnson's Mobile and Store-Front Auto Service station in Lake Elsinore. My a/c went out on my car slowly over the last three years and I have to take some sick pets to the vet more frequently now and it's much too hot in the summer for them and myself without the a/c. My car is 28 years old but I bought it brand new, so it's "my baby." They came out and I told them I had the a/c converted about 10 years ago, so they went and got the parts for the R134 (I think that's what it is now). Well, I mistook it for my Corvette I sold and I apologized and felt horrible! He had to go get another part and it was hot as heck out. He came back and there were other issues, and the bottom line is--I can't remember the last time I called a company and they went SO out of their way to help me and fixed my a/c!!! They spent hours fixing what I thought would have been a quick fix. I still feel horrible about it. He told me the compressor might only last another year, but my 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse hasn't given up on me and I'm going to hang in there as long as we can. So I hope they make compressors when it finally needs one. I have to tell you, the price was amazing! I even told him to charge me more because I screwed up and he wouldn't. Wow. I had taken my car to a different shop for an oil change (first mistake) and they messed up my oil pan and plug. I brought it back to the other shop again (second mistake)and they couldn't fix what damage they had done and my car that never leaked oil was now leaking like a civ. Thankfully my boyfriend knew of this place and sent me there. Eric and the entire staff took excellent care of me, saved my oil pan and were able to repair it (thank you so much for that!!) And had me out of there on my way. I truly appreciate the honest and hard work. By far the worst automotive repair experience I've ever had in my life. Eric Johnson will promise you the world and deliver a bag of dogshit. I personally dealt with him for over 6 months trying to get an engine put into my suburban and he failed to deliver the whole time. He put multiple engines in the vehicle and we had multiple problems every time most of the problems were install errors. I hate to say it I know the dealers are expensive but it's a lot cheaper than dealing with this shop. I wound up taking mine to a different shop and they got it right the first time without leaving the main ground on the firewall completely loose and trying to start my vehicle on fire. The shop is centrally located in the industrial are right off of the 15 freeway, and is easy to find. Eric (Owner) is an amazing mechanic and his staff knows what they're doing and fast as well.
