I went in to get an oil change and mentioned that since they put new tires on my car about two weeks before I noticed a noise and asked if they could check. I get a call saying that my axle is warped and I need two new axles in the back. I don't know almost anything about cars but this sounded off. axles don't warp... I asked how long Bobby thought it would be drivable and he said maybe a week I should get it taken care off. Bobby wrote me up a quote for 1700 $ for my two back axles. when I got to the shop the mechanics and Bobby told me there was a lot of pull on my axles and that if there was a noise that's where it's coming from. I asked did you guys testt drive it and hear the noise and they told me no. when I got to my car i looked at the quote and thought let me just check to see how much these parts would be at auto zone. The axle is 170 at auto zone and they were trying to charge me 500 for one axle at Mr tire. i get trying to make a bonus but that is just wrong and sketchy. I then took my car to another shop and explained what i was told and unsurprisingly they called BS. they looked at my car and told me there was nothing wrong with my axle. when they test drove my car and let me know the sound was just the tires adjusting. I will never go back here after years of doing business here.

They appraised my vehicle, and offered me what I thought was a fair price, but I wanted to think about it and promised I would contact her the next day with my answer. I called the next day and told her I would take the vehicle. Donna took all of mine and my wife's info over the phone and said they would have the paperwork ready when we arrived, I made an appointment for 6pm. Unfortunately my wife was running late from work so we didn't get there until 7pm. Problem was by then they were very busy, two sales people and only one finance person working (on a Friday night). By the time we got in the finance office it was almost 9pm, but he was quick and efficient. So we leave the lot and by now its late and we are very tired. When I get up the next day I inspect my newly purchased vehicle and find a lot of dirt I missed the night before. (Did I mention it was raining lightly the night before so I didn't go over the truck with a fine eye to detail?) The interior had dust and dirt between the seats and their was grass and dog hair under the rear seat. I contacted Donna and explained what I found and I was not pleased. She immediately spoke to her manager who offered me a free detail. I refused the offer but asked them to speak with their detail person because a less than agreeable customer may not be as forgiving. I have dealt with this dealership for years for service on several vehicles and have always been pleased. I believe they were just overwhelmed this night and did the best they could to make all of their customers happy. Heard absolutely nothing from the dealership that day. Tuesday I get 2 video texts an hour apart from the mechanic. One says I need new tires, 2nd one says my tires look good. I call the service department about my latch and she says it's about $1400. I enquirer about my warranty and whether it covers it. She says she'll call me back. No call that day. Wednesday I call asking for the service manager. He's a very nice man and apologizes profusely, says my latch will be in Thursday and my vehicle has 1st priority. Thursday = no phone call, no communication. Friday morning I call and tell them I'm coming to pick up my vehicle. The latch was never fixed and I suspect they never took the time to troubleshoot it, just ordered a part which never came in. ZERO STARS

However - this inspection was $140, and this shop wasn't able to help me fix several of the "fails", meaning I had to reach out to yet ANOTHER shop (the Ford dealership) and get it sorted. Found out the Ford dealership (and several other shops in the area) do these same state car inspections for under $100... $85 at Ford to be precise, sponsored by the Maryland State Police. So I'm blown away on how much I spent for a car inspection at a place that couldn't even fix the repairs I needed. With THAT huge of a price gouge, I feel a bit scammed.

I called multiple places near where she was at in Lexington Park with no mechanics willing to look at her jeep at noon on a Friday. However, called AAMCO and spoke with Scott who was willing to get her in ASAP. My daughter then drove over there, and to his word he immediately got her Jeep in. After meeting Scott, my daughter immediately texted me, saying how nice everybody was there to her. It ended up being some dirty battery terminals which they cleaned up, put back on tight and sent her on her way! To top it off, they didn't charge her a thing!
