Don't waste your time coming here. I had a 7:30 AM appointment to get my tire changed that I made days ahead. I get there right at opening and the guy says they don't have my tire in stock. So he calls around and finds a place and tells me I could go get it, or he could. Why would I go get the tire? And why wouldn't they check ahead of time that they had it in stock before accepting the appointment? I'd rather pay more for someone who values my time, than not. read more

I arrived early around 8:15 am to have my car diagnosed. I waited more than 2.5 after seeing other cars after me getting serviced. After waiting more than 2.5 hours I asked if they had started on my car and he said no, it'll be another 20-30 minutes for a total of 2 more hours to diagnose the car. I told the tall guy with glasses i couldn't wait any longer and asked for my keys back. No one checked on me and when I asked if they had started on my car, the tall guy with glasses acted as if he was annoyed. Horrible customer service experience. Charged arm and leg for a simple refrigerant refill. On top of that. The passenger seat belt cap went missing. Prior to me an elderly customer was there for a sudden flat tire and told them they could not find anything. Customer left and yup they forgot to put a cap or a part back. Poor guy had to drive back to retrieve it. Zero customer service. I would not trust these people. And if you do go there for service. I recommend to check everything to ensure all bolts, nuts, cover and caps are replaced. read more

Took my truck in to Midas for a routine oil and filter change. I had taken my previously owned truck to the same location and trusted the technician to do the job correctly. Besides, they're conveniently located close to my residence. The technician took my truck into the bay and began the service. He finished rather quickly and brought me my keys. When i asked if he had checked the tire pressure he sarcastically asked if the sensor had stated the tire pressure was low, I told him no. He then proceeded to say then, they're ok. According to the Courtesy check, which states he was suppose to check it, he never did. After driving off to my next location, I noticed a little smoke. I thought he had just spilled a little oil on the engine and it would burn off. I ran a few errands then drove home. Once I stopped and pulled into my garage, I notice drips and then puddles of oil in my driveway and now in my garage. I grabbed my phone and to my surprise I had a call from the Midas center telling me they notice oil was dripping when i drove off and to bring the truck back immediately. I did and the technician met me as soon as I drove up and parked. He took my truck into the the service area immediately. Once inside the manager indicated he'd tried to call me and I didn't answer. I told him that my phone is set on do not disturb when driving. He returned shortly and stated the problem was taken care of. I trusted him and drove home and parked. Then I had the tasked of cleaning up the oil spill. By not paying attention to detail, I could have ran out of oil and damaged my engine. I moved my truck back into a clean garage and left it. Serveral hours later I checked and oil has dripped all over my floor again. I will take it back tomorrow for them to fix it again. I'm very disappointed to say the least and will definitely think twice before I used them again. I will give them a ZERO rating. read more

Had an oil change and tires done at Midas Bayshore NY approx 1 month ago on my wife's Jeep G/C The tires started way up in the stratosphere but luckily for us after a few phone calls to his boss they were able to get the tires down a good thousand dollars less ? Wife called me an hour ago the oil light is going on and off Told her to pull over and check the oil . Bone dry on the dipstick I went under the jeep to see where it was leaking because if you're burning that much oil you got problems , find a huge puddle buildup right below the oil filter. I know how to work on cars I just do not have the time to dedicate to doing the maintenance myself so it is not like I do not know what I am looking at and or what happened. Midas's name used to be reputable. What in Gods name happened? They seem to hire people with absolutely zero respect Their service department has to first comprehend the meaning of service. Now what do I do? Do I bring it in to Midas carrying my bad attitude with me or do I just go there and listen to someone try to tell me about something they obviously know nothing about? I am only giving 1 star because I do not have a 0 star option. I called all over Little Rock to compare prices for an oil change and tire rotation. Midas had a coupon on their website for a $56.99 synthetic oil change and tire rotation which is significantly less expensive than most of the other service centers. Whomever I originally spoke with over the phone was very helpful and friendly. I requested the alignment to be checked as well because my car was pulling. He said that it would not be a problem. He also told me that since I would be dropping my car off that I did not need an appointment but that they closed at 4PM on Saturday. I arrived around 12PM on Saturday. The lobby was full of customers and the service bay was full of cars. There was not an employee to be seen. I waited 3-5 minutes before looking through the windows to find someone. The phone was also ringing. A gentleman eventually appeared and took the phone call. He told the person he was speaking with that he could not look at their car because they were closing in an hour (hours of operation state they close at 4PM). When it was my turn he said that it would be a 2 hour wait for the oil change and tire rotation. I told him that was fine and to just call me when it was ready. I gave him my coupon and asked about the alignment. He said that he could do an alignment because checking it took the same amount of work. I told him no thank you because I did not want to pay for something that may not be needed. Upon leaving he told me that it would be 35-45 minutes (he just told me that it would be 2 hours). In about an hour, I received a call that my car was ready. I asked what time they closed and his response was, "When I am finished with the oil changes." We drove back up there to get my car. I paid and left. In times past, the technician goes over the things that were completed on my car, what needs attention, and what can wait. Nothing from Midas. There was also no sticker in the window telling me when to have another oil change. It was blatantly obvious that this gentleman was ready to go home and close early. I have never experienced such terrible customer service at any service center and that includes Wal-Mart. In the past, I have gotten my oil changed at Crain Kia in Conway. The alignment check is complimentary with the oil change and tire rotation service. I will never return to this location. It is worth the additional money to go somewhere that is customer focused and friendly. read more

Took my car in for an oil change, they wanted to rotate my tires. I told them no, I only want to know if break pads are still in good shape. I don't know what they did but my brakes locked and I'm stuck on the side of the road. They broke my caliper, I will call them in the morning. I Should have read the reviews first. We had new front and rear rotors replaced while on vacation outside of Chicago. Within 8 months the front rotors needed to be replaced again, but the location here did not honor the warranty and we paid for a complete replacement. Within 6 months the problem returned and we were told that the back rotors needed to be replaced which we did. Again no warranty. After having the car for two weeks, the problem had not been resolved so we took the car back in and this time they said it was the front rotors. Compensated us $25 of the $465 for our out of pocket on the back rotors which apparently were fine. Three front and two back rotor replacement within 15 months and 16,000 miles. I have visited the Little Rock location twice. Both times I've had good service and most of all honesty. The first visit was an AC inspection with a coupon I had. They tested my AC and said it was good with no leaks and added the leak testing dye in the system. I had a brake inspection done today and was told my brakes were good and did not need replacement or repair. Some repair shops might have told me that I needed repairs just to make profits or sales. Ive had that happen to me before at other service shops. I would recommend Midas in Little Rock for their honest customer service practices. read more

This place is a joke, they tried to hustle me for break pads which has lifetime warranty ( paid in 2014 ). Came there little after 8 in the morning told them break pads are needed to be changed, waited there 2 whole hours to get a diagnosis what's wrong, and told car would be ready another 4-5 hours. According to guy in front ( Blake ) in his words ( that's life). Changing rotor and break pads not a rocket science and That's not you communicate with your customer. Very disappointed. After walking out of Midas I went to different place ( Doug tire shop ). They said my rotors are NOT needed to be replaced NOW, minimum is 19 needed to replace but mine is 24 , thickness of rotor. Little Rock store. I tried to make an appointment for last Saturday with the online system. The system showed them to have several appointment times available. Set it up for 9:30 - 11:30 time slot. I got a nice email response from Midas, stating that I would receive more info about my appointment. Nothing ! ........... No more communication. I arrived on Saturday about 9:15 to a very busy shop. The guy at the counter had no idea that I had an appointment. Said it would be Monday before he could look at my vehicle. He blamed the main office for not getting him the Appointment request. It appears that the appointment system doesn't work.... at all. I used to be a good customer but this is the last inconvenience I will suffer from Midas. Not from Little Rock,but I was working here for a few days. Needed a oil change so I googled the best place to do so. It pulled this place up. After changing my oil They heard a rattling noise in my exhaust that has been driving me crazy for months. After already lowering the car to the ground they picked it back up and found out there was a rock bouncing around between the under carage and exhaust and got it out. Very pleased. read more

This place is a joke. I had them put new brake pads on my F150, three and a half months ago. They installed new brake pads incorrectly on the front axle of my truck. There are two brake pads per rotor, they are specific (inner and outer pads) for rotors. They specifically go on a certain way. Evidently the technician put the inner brake pads on my passenger side and outer brake pads on my drivers side. Did not find this out until I took my truck into a Goodyear to have my tires rotated. The Goodyear Technicians said my drivers side rotor was locked up/seized. They investigated and noticed the pads were incorrectly installed and they had worn down almost to metal. So I called Midas and spoke to the manager informing him what had happened. He stated "I don't believe it, you can't do that, you'll have to bring it here and show me" I drove from Russellville to Little Rock (GoodYear Techs told me it was actually very dangerous to keep driving the way it was). The Midas manager asked if I would have time for them, tomorrow, to "take things apart" and change all the hardware. I told him not tomorrow. His technician stated "it's not that big of a deal, and it's a common mistake that won't cause any real damage" Now, they are slapping on new pads, replacing the fucked up worn pads for free due to being warrantied and sending me on my way. I guess I should have made myself available Friday so they could throughly go through my front brake system to ensure their shotty job didn't FUCK anything else up, which per Goodyear it did, with a wonderful price Tag of $630. hands down the worst combo of low down shysters that take ur cash 4 services not performed. you can expect to recieve disrespectful, rude, outrageous prices and w/ misinformation abt your purchase in a berating tone. they used to be 5 star but now they rate in negative. charged me $160 for an inspection that used to cost $25 (& still does at other local midas locations). somehow, a major oil leak was missed (among other). i returned to ask why the fluids were bone dry after only 20 miles of driving. car was placed on the rack. & given no explanation, other than i'd need a whole new transmission soon at $3k. called later to ask abt the estimate i was told by the manager he was too busy to talk to me & couldn't forsee a time he'd be available for me. I have never written a bad review before but I had such a bad experience I thought I should. I called Midas on this Wednesday and made a appointment for this Saturday (yesterday) we discussed the tires I would need and an alignment and got pricing and I was gonna go at 10 on Saturday. Walk in at 10 am and it took 15 minutes just for someone to get to the desk and awknowledge that I was there. Then I say I am here for my appointment my appointment ISN'T EVEN IN THE COMPUTER. So my time was obviously wasted by even making an appointment but I thought whatever I'll still get it and get my car taken care of. NOPE. They didn't have the tires there that I needed which we discussed and they couldn't go get them because they had so many people call in the new guy at the desk (poor guy had nothing to do with this situation) couldn't leave to get them because then nobody would be there. Poor managment. Poor customer service. I will never recommend them to anybody. So I had to leave and find somewhere else to get my car done even though I planned accordingly and they let me down. Back in June 2013, Mike at Midas put my mind at ease after Marcus at Jiffy Lube down the street said that Jiffy Lube would not service my oil change because my plug was screwed on too tight. Jiffy Lube said I needed to go back to my previous oil change provider. I told him I couldn't because I just moved from out of state and I had gone o them for 4 years with no problems. I left Jiffy Lube stressing about finding a shop to take care of this on a Saturday but the Midas team came threw for me! I got my oil change done and Midas confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my plug - it was actually a brand new plug and unscrewed without difficulty. Now thinking about it I did get that replaced a few years ago. Though it took Midas over 1 hour to get my oil change done it was a relief that if there was a problem they would do their best to help me resolve it instead of turning me away like Jiffy Lube did. Very bad experience at this place!! Had oil change a week ago and just noticed a part of my truck was hanging down underneath. Took it back in and was helped by Austin (who btw was the ONLY person concerned). The mechanic acted pissed off and got grease all over the driver CLOTH seat. When I complained he became very agitated and tried to remove it with brake fluid! Well my seat is ruined. I called the manager (who never left his office while this was happening) and when I started to complain he hung up on me. I called back and got Austin who got the brunt of my complaints. If I could leave 0 or negative stars I would. The technician left the oil cap off when he changed my oil on April 14th, causing oil to spill and resulting in a fire which damaged my electrical wiring and many parts surrounding the oil reservoir. While Midas took responsibility, they made me pay for my own rental cars but misjudged the amount of damage and the time I needed the rental cars. They failed to keep me informed of what was going on with my vehicle unless I called or stopped by, which meant I had to miss work to catch them during the week, and each day I was told my vehicle would be ready the next day. I didn't receive my vehicle until it was repaired by Nissan nearly three weeks later on May 3rd, and it was only when I told Nissan what actually happened with my vehicle that they were able to make the necessary repairs. I still have not been reimbursed for the $1100+ I paid in rental car fees that I should not have had to pay in the first place. This is going on week three since I submitted the receipts. Each time I have tried to follow up I have been given the runaround and told that my check would be ready the next day then given the same excuse for two weeks about the one person cutting checks being out on vacation or not knowing how to read the receipts to understand I need to be reimbursed. I was a loyal customer until this happened, but I will not use this company again. I just want my money back so we can all move on. read more
