It took an hour and a half.. and once you're in line you of course can't get out. the price is criminal. And two weeks later my protection plate came halfway off because either they didn't tighten it properly, or maybe forgot a screw. It's destroyed now and I have to order a new one. I tried calling customer service so I could give them the chance to fix it, but the hold time is insane. Take 5? More like Take 45... as in I waited in line for 45 min with one car in front of me before giving up and leaving. I would have left sooner but I was blocked in by a car behind me. When they finally gave up and left, I was able to leave. 45 min. all I wanted was an oil change. No one came to my car to greet me or apologize for the wait, or even to give me a bottle of water like they did the other cars that were waiting. The staff appeared to be standing around, getting drinks for themselves out of the cooler. There were three cars in the bays when I got there, and the same three cars when I was finally able to escape. I ended up going to Splash on Wellington where I was greeted promptly, told it would be about a 10 min wait (it was), and witnessed the staff working efficiently and being friendly. read more

I went to the Take 5 on JFK in N.Little Rock, I am a new customer and had procured a 7.00 premium coupon. When I arrived there were 2 cars ahead of me. So I waited about 20 minutes till the manager guided my car in. After I put my car in park, the manager approached my window so I rolled it down. At that moment he dropped his pants and proceeded to show me his oil stained underwear and told me I would have to leave because he is going home to change clothes saying... I cant work in these oily clothes! I said you have got to be kidding me!? I worked in a lube center, YOU SOMETIMES GET OIL ON YOU IN A LUBE CENTER!! I will never ever darken the door of Take 5 again. It took 45 minutes to get in to start . They told me a $49 over the phone then after they drained my oil gave the 3 options starting at $89 . They replaced my air filter and broke my glove box in the process and didn't say anything about it . Which I realized when I got home . Stay away from the JFK location in North Little Rock . My wife and I took her car to the Take 5 shop located on Rodney Parham Rd in Little Rock. That location has 3 bays, when we arrived there were cars lined up behind the first 2 bays on the left side, there was a car in the bay of the far right hand side bay but no one behind them so we got in line behind that car. We sat there for 40 minutes and not a single person spoke to us. Once the car in that bay left we started to get ready to drive into the bay once we were guided. An associate came up to our car and said "I'm going to move you over to the middle bay which currently had a car in it. I asked why and he proceeded to tell me that there were other cars waiting before me. I told him I was not moving because we had been sitting there for 40 minutes and now that it was time for me to pull our car in they decided to come talk to me and ask me to move. The employee went to get the manager and she was probably one of the rudest people I have ever talked to. She immediately had an attitude and told me over and over that another car was there before me and they have to go in order, I told her I understood that but we pulled into the line because no one else was in it and when we got there we couldn't even see which cars were there already because there were too many to keep track of. I explained to her that I understood that they have to go in order but they should have had the decency to come talk to us about it when we got there or have an employee out there guiding cars into which line they need to go in. She continued to argue with me and we just ended up leaving. We went to Splash 10 minute oil change instead and they had someone that specifically was standing outside to guide cars on which bay to line up in so everyone is in order and everyone was so incredibly nice. We were in and out in about 15 minutes. I called the customer service line for take 5 after leaving there that day to complain and they had me explain what happened and told me they would pass it along to a higher up who would be in touch with me shortly, that was on May 3rd. I have called to talk to someone 3 other times and no one has ever called me back. I will never go back to a take 5 again and I will heavily guide friends and family to not go either. read more

When I went to start my vehicle it wouldn't start, not saying it's there fault but I asked for a jump box or if they had cables, the manager on duty Justin N told his coworker yes I have cables but I'm not pulling my truck up here to give him a jump the other two employees don't have vehicles!! I'm an African American Man and he's Caucasian I feel as he is being racist and if I had a different color of skin he wouldve did it with no problem! My girlfriend and I brought her car in last October for an oil change. She went an extensive time (to this date) without an oil change. When I got underneath to take care of it for her, the drain plug was so overtorqued my Dewalt 1/2" torque wrench was unable to loosen the plug even a fraction. I brought it to the same location, the Rodney Parham location, and they made it clear that they were unwilling to do absolutely anything about it, and could only make comments on the length of time she had gone without an oil change - as if this affected the drain plug. Not only that, but they claimed they don't do bolt extractions either. This has happened every single time I've made the mistake of going to a quick oil change location, and that combined with the attitude and refusal of the tech's to do anything about it has drawn me here, to warn you about giving this locatiom your business, or any Take5 just based on their policy and unwillingness to fix their mistakes. read more

If they were going to sell my information to someone, why would they have not have lied to me when I asked them not to before they started the services on my vehicle. We got an oil change and after coupon and taxes it came out to be 68$~. It's a bit pricey but they throw a bunch of freebies in. I understand they're trying to upsale but it was a little weird when they started picking out parts from our car. I'm sure if the car wasn't bolted together, they'd take it apart. Yes, you may not have to weight hours like at a dealership but in this case I think even the dealership is cheaper. I took my 2022 VolkTiguan to this location for just an oil change. Everything seemed fine. I get home and notice I had oil leaking from my engine. I thought maybe they had overfilled it. I tried to go to work the next day and my car alerted me to turn off me engine because of no oil. I called the next day and to a national number and spoke with someone about my experience and she have me a claim number. I had to rent a vehicle for 3 days because she told me it will take a few days to be contacted. 4 days later I decided to have it towed to VW in Little Rock for inspection. I finally received a call after my passing for a tow and was told that they would contact the dealership for verification of fame and they would put me in a rental once verified. I received a call by my claims person (Chelsea @ 216-478-8441) the next Monday letting me know of the status of my vehicle. I have not been contacted by her or anyone for that matter since. VW has since forwarded via email what came off the inspection with the cost of repair to no avail. I've called multiple times and left a message only to reach her voicemail stating that she's either on another call or out of the office. This is going on 3 weeks now with no contact made by them. My claim number is T5L-005127. They caused me $1440 worth of damage, I've been without a vehicle starting on my 4th week, could have lost my job without a vehicle, since have lost $1000 missing work and paying for a rental. Please, take my word for avoiding this specific location! The owner hasn't even responded to my Google review and has responded to other reviews a few days ago to positive reviews. He should no doubt be fired from his job. They have absolutely no integrity or accountability when it comes to their customers! We took our car in for a full service and they didn't check anything other than the oil, even checked off that they checked all the filters and tire pressure and we have a lower tire that wasn't even checked. The workers were all playing around on their phone. They were not paying attention they spilled oil all over our motor, didn't even bother topping it off after the spilled what looked to be 1/2 to 1 quart of oil. Absolutely horrible service would not recommend anyone going to this location, unless you don't care that your spending well over $100 for nothing to get done but a sticker put on your windshield. read more

Fast oil change, my problem comes with the way the men here addressed my wife, Referring to her as "baby girl" the whole time. One of them also said "I'm gonna come over here and talk to you, I been changing men's oil all day and I just wanna change a pretty girl's oil". Best of all, they didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. I thought their pricing was reasonable, considering that I have a vehicle that takes eight quarts of synthetic oil.
