This place is definitely terrible, I took my car to do small repair and a was informed that the price would be $100, after the repair I went to pay and for my surprise the price went up to $165 dollars. I complained about but I was informed that the difference was on taxes. I was on the store for only 30 minutes and charge almost $200 dollars to change a small piece in my car. Took my car for a tune up, and they "found" a screw in one of my tires. I paid to have it fixed, the tire kept loosing air and I couldn't understand why. Then about a month later I found the magical screw back in the same tire. Just take your car down the street to Plaza Tire & Auto Center and they'll do a better job for less money. read more

I had a great experience at this location. Service Advisor Andrea Alarcon was extremely nice in answering all my questions and following up with the status of my check-up. They were also very fast as I walked in at about 1:30pm and by 3:30pm they were all done. I had tire rotation, alignment and balancing done, as well as a full check-up, brake fluid change, engine air filter change and a regular oil and filter change. Will definitely be coming back. Terrible service from dunces! I went to Midas Mufflers... MIDAS MUFFLERS and they had no clue, nor mufflers. Told me to come back some other day and talk to the manager for they could not enter the job into the system. Charged me $30 for and inspection then told me they could not do anything, for the classic car was too old. I went to MIDAS MUFFLERS for and muffler and they had no idea what to do! read more

I went to go get my oil changed here just because it close to me are usually go to my dealer but decided to give this place a try when I went there I got my oil change and it was only 64 bucks compared to my regular dealer which is 90 when I went to pick up my car they told me that I had a lot of problems with my car that the front and rear axle need to be fixed the air-conditioning was leaking I needed new brake fluid in that I need my tires aligned they tell me the total price to fix everything would be around $1480 I was pretty shocked by this as I was pretty sure I just need new brake pads if anything went to my car dealer and I asked him just to inspect my car they told me everything looked fine and I only needed new brake pads in the next thousand miles my dealer only charge me 150 pretty ridiculous that a MIDAS would do this to someone Take advice from me pay the extra dollar to go to your dealer you're not saving an because his guys will rip you off BAD they wrote me back down in the comments below and I did send them a private message never got back to me this company is so full of shit read more

Called me to tell me my car would be ready in an hr. An hour later, I called and asked if my car was ready and they said "yes, it's ready now! Come on in!" So, I head over and arrive 15 minutes later only to be told that the part they need isn't even in yet, and I'll need to wait for it to get there to be installed. After waiting for 30+ minutes! I got frustrated and said I wanted a refund? MAGICALLY the car was ready 3 minutes later. I shouldn't have to wait when I'm told specifically that my car is ready to be picked up, i shouldn't have to threaten a refund to get them to do their jobs and I DEFINITELY shouldn't have to raise my voice in order to get service EVER. read more

Made appointment for routine oil change on a weekday morning and took 2.5 hours. Place is clean. People are nice. Multiple customers inside not wearing masks and no staffmember said anything, so not the best place to wait for your car to be fixed. read more

We took our Mercedes to have see if our muffler was not working. We had s great experience. Oscar and his team took care of us. They did a free inspection and told us that there were no issues. They were able to determine that we needed to rotate our tires and get an alignment. This was done in an hour. The service was as good as the dealership but the price and speed of getting the work was done was way better than the dealer. The customer service is excellent. I usually drive my car up to NY and back so I like to make sure all is in order, oil change, fluids tapped off tire pressure etc. They have always been aces with me and my vehicle. I called the day before to see if an appointment was needed to get in and out they said to walk in. They had me in and out in 40 mins. The real reason I'm coming back though is the customer service. Just as expected, this place is as slimy as any other auto repair shop out there. We went in for the 19.99 oil change and tire rotation that is heavily advertised nationwide. The desk girl (Andrea maybe? Red hair) immediately started her dirty tricks. First she said it doesn't include a filter and that we have to pay extra for an oil filter! I said ok fine then we don't need a new filter and we were just doing a simple oil change and tire rotation before a road trip home, where we would do a full change again with new filter and synthetic. She then said the oil change comes with a filter so we have to sign a waiver to do it without a filter, to which I replied you just said it is extra for a filter. She was tripping on her own lies. Then she printed out a quote for 27$, 5$ for labor fee and the expected disposal fee, ok whatever no big deal. Then I ask about the tire rotation, because it wasn't on the quote, and she said we only do it if we determine you need it. She was very insistent that they were NOT going to rotate the tires. I said these tires have never been rotated and have at least 10,000 miles they need to be rotated. She says, well we will decide that. I said I am paying for oil change and tire rotation as advertised. She said you don't need to rotate tires every oil change and their "mechanic" will determine if they rotate. After which I ask the manager Oscar what is up with his employee and her absolutely 0 customer service skills, to which he said it is early morning and you both are being rude. Ok so now he is blaming me for his employee tugging my chain for what should be a simple service. Can you imagine treating customers like this in any other line of work? Next, while waiting, another customer comes in and wants an oil change and asks Andrea if it comes with an oil filter, to which she replied YES. She just told me 5 mins ago that it is extra for a filter! When finished Oscar came and gave me the usual rundown of all the things that are broken but at least he didn't push me to pay for more things, he could probably tell I wasn't going to play their games. Too many horror stories out there and even on this page for this particular shop. In the end I got out with a 27$ oil change and tire rotation, but you really have to fight and stand your ground for it so be ready. read more

If you are coming here for your Geico inspection don't! They will refuse to book an appointment and when you show up they will refuse to help you saying the are too busy. They also won't inspect on weekends. Apparently you are just suppose to take off work and guess when they will help you. Avoid unless you don't mind wasting your time. read more

Short version: 1. Midas website says $49.99 for full synthetic oil change (special deal lasting until Jul-5-2020). 2. I provided year, make, and model of my vehicle to both George and Herbie from this Midas shop over the phone on Wed-Jun-24. Because they asked. 3. George told me that the oil change would cost $69.99 ($20 more than advertised) because my vehicle required more than the standard amount of oil and the oil filter for my vehicle was more expensive. More oil sounds reasonable (my vehicle is a mid-sized SUV). A more expensive oil filter--perhaps not. 4. Made an appointment for first thing the next day (Thu-Jun-25) to do the oil change--It was only going to be $20 more than advertised and George's explanation seemed half reasonable. 5. Herbie called back later on Wed-Jun-24 to update me on other price related inquires I had made. At that same time, I asked him to clarify the cost of the full synthetic oil change--$49.99 or $69.99? Herbie told me $49.99. Again, he asked/I provided the year, make, and model of my vehicle. 6. I arrived on time for the appointment on Thu-Jun-25. George (who I then learned was the manager) printed the paperwork before starting the work, but rather than the $69.99 or $49.99 that I had expected from the previous day's conversations, the cost was now $94.40 (before tax; including tax, the cost was $101.01). That's $24+ more. 7. I complained that my vehicle had not changed from the previous day (obviously), but was told that the oil required was even more than previously anticipated and the oil filter was even more expensive than previously thought. 8. Come on, man! This is classic bait and switch. I have plenty of money, certainly more than the $24+ that George was going to charge me over the $69.99 he quoted over the phone the previous day, but I also have principles. I'm tending towards zero-tolerance for people who can't keep their word, especially when it's just overnight (the phone call to the appointment) and I wrote down the prices as told to me. 9. Don't trust these guys. I've already found another name-brand shop--Firestone--that gave MUCH better prices on break pad and rotor replacement. I'm sure I'll find a better shop for a simple oil change. read more

I've been going to this Midas for the last two years for general maintenance servicing. I stopped by today for a quick oil change at 3.15pm and was met with a shrug and told there were three people in line and there was no way he could do it before they closed at 5pm!! Three people and an hour and 45 minutes of the business day left?? Whatever happened to the 10 minute oil change? I mentioned I was a regular, loyal customer and that I was going away and would really appreciate it if he could fit me in, but I was met with another shrug and told to come back on Monday. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS!!! I've always taken my car here for oil changes as it is right around the corner from my house, but have been screwed over by them one too many times now. I brought my car in for service and was given a laundry list of problems (some real, others false) and paid to have my car repaired. My car stalls again not even 5 minutes after picking it up, I have it towed to my dealer and they tell me none of the services I paid for at Midas were completed. These mechanics are crooks and feed off of peoples lack of knowledge about cars, only looking to rip you off. I've filed complaints with the BBB and Midas corporate... So far this place has been great. I grew up in Detroit and know cars. These guys no a great deal more than I do. I just took my car, a BMW, in for an oil change ant it was less than half what the dealer would have cost. They worked well and I was happy with the service. They did not try to sell me any extras and when they left they handed me written estimates for possible up comming work. I will say right now the estimates were good prices and I will be going back for future work. I have been a customer of this Midas when they were across the street in there old building. I have taken 4 of my cars to them in the past and recommended there services to friends of mine. That will not be happening anymore. I took my Audi in for an oil change and a brake inspection. They quoted me $150 for an oil change which is $50 more than jiffylube and maybe $30 less than the dealership. I sat down and 10 minutes later they told me they made a mistake and it was going to be $300. I left. The manager called me the next day and said he would do it for $180. I decided to go back. So as for the brake inspection, they said I needed brake pads and rotors. They quoted me 30% higher on the oem Audi parts than audi sells them for. It was a crazy number, like $2600. I went to Audi and they said I just needed pads and replaces then for $600. The manager new what he was doing, the miami way, saying to me "he would take care of me". Don't go to this place. read more
