Please do NOT take your vehicle here if you want it repaired in any way. We took it here twice and got it back more damaged then when we took it. Gave them a chance to make it right and fix the issues they caused, and just caused more. They will scratch your vehicle and deny it, partially fix your vehicle and charge thousands, then say it you want it "fully fixed" it would be a few more thousand. All while messing up all the sensors, the cruise control, and the heat. I reached out to the "Owner" and haven't heard anything back. Was told by Edward at Midas, that all I would get was probably an automated reply back. Horrible service, horrible customer service. I got an engine with a 3 year warranty or 100 thousand miles. About 2 years ago and they said I have full coverage on the engine and when I took it back to them to have it fixed because they gave me a bad engine and they are now adding in certain details on why they can't replace my engine. It has been sitting at their shop for two months just for them to tell me that bullshit. Excuse the language, but that's all they do there. They don't do nothing but hold onto your vehicle and up charge you for things that they promised you. Don't go there you will be back in 2 months for the same problem. They don't fix anything right. And to top it off they left my truck unlocked and in a spot where cameras can't see and then it got stolen out their lot. all they said was " someone had to be workin on it before we got here or when we weren't looking" of course you weren't looking because it was your people Who stole the truck because Yall can't hold up the end of yalls own warranty. read more

On Monday, 9/1/25 I took my 2024 F350 into Midas in Odessa for a wheel alignment, which by the way wasn't done. When I arrived, I was informed by Carlos that their system was down and they wouldn't be able to cash us out until the next day, but the wheel alignment would be done. Because their system was down, the employees were told, by the boss, to lock up and go home early. We were NEVER notified that they were leaving for the day, otherwise, we would of picked up our truck and gone elsewhere to get the alignment done. Since it was impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone as the system was down, my wife and I drove to the shop and found that our pickup was parked in the back of their lot with both driveways blocked with vehicles. So I had no choice but to leave my truck there. When I went this morning to check on my truck it was found that someone had gotten into one of the bins in my pickup bed and taken 8 brand new ratchet straps. I reported this to Carlos who told me he would check the camera's and get back to me. He called this morning and told me that he checked the camera and saw the person going through the vehicles but couldn't see their face. He said they could file a police report and we could give the details and value of what was stolen and that Midas was not responsible for the stolen straps. I run a hotshot trucking company. My truck is my livelihood. I missed out on work Tuesday due to the disregard of who was in charge by not informing me that they were closing shop early on Monday. This is not how you treat customers! I have always taken my vehicles to Midas and have never been treated in this manner. Very disappointing Midas!!! I won't be back. read more

I had an appointment to drop off at 3:30pm Thursday I called around 3pm Friday and was put on hold for 10 minutes I finally drove up there to get the status, I was told they hadn't even looked at it ‍ I said give me my keys I'll take it somewhere else I drove to Lubbock and back Friday morning and these guys couldn't even look at my vehicle !??!! The reason for this bad review had nothing to do with the service I received, but this is about who I think is the manager. Since I had gone in he was yelling at his employees and treating them very poorly and talking down on them. I was waiting about an hour and a half and the whole time this continued, it made the whole time I was waiting very unpleasant and it's crazy to me how someone can treat their employees like that especially in front on customers. read more

I have been using Midis in Odessa TX since I moved here in 2019 and have always gotten excellent service. I have an older car, 2008 and they have taken good care of it. A couple of times they could have taken advantage of me because I thought the problem was more serious than it was but they didn't. Would recommend them to anyone. read more

Made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. Tire rotation was part of a coupon that was supposed to be free with oil change. I walked in and gave them my information. Told them I had a coupon for free rotation. With out even looking at truck the guy got an attitude and said well it's not free with after market wheels. Well it doesn't have aftermarket wheels but obviously this is just a marking scheme. Not to mention the shop looked like hell. Felt shady so I walked out and went to Avis lube where they were happy to serve me. read more

I had my brakes done by this location and my brakes squeak. It sounds like metal on metal but I know the pads are new because I had my dealership look at them. My dealership charged $550 per axle for brakes and new rotors. Midas charged $450 per axle due to the sensors my car has. I wish I would have allowed my local VW dealer do it. read more

I paid for an alignment among other services and they did not do the alignment, I know they didn't rotate my tires like I paid for as well. I know I should have noticed when I picked up my truck, but I was in a hurry to get home. I call up there to speak with the manager and he informed me that it was in fact done and he was out there when it was done. How can you be out there when every time I've called up there, YOU answer the phone?! I know they tried to rip me off because I am a girl and they think I don't know any better, well guess what?! Took car in for oil change, they said they rotated tires, I marked my tires to see if they rotated them. They did not rotate tires, saying they did. If they lie about that I can't trust their work. After taken the car to them it ended up turning off in the middle of traffic the same car a head gasket blown so the manager after a week later they told us that it's because we had no motor oil in the engine but they put a sticker on it as if they have done one from the first time we went in and it was two qts low but before a head gasket blown it was making a sound and the same problem happened as it has before the manager told me if I take it and it stopped working they weren't responsible if it broke down after putting oil in from across the street if worked and then as my wife was driving it to work it turned completely off in traffic again this time during 5 o'clock traffic lucky she wasn't hurt and a tow truck driver seen her and helped her move the car out of traffic no car for the holidays and work also now she doesn't have a car ! Thanks for the inconveniences caused by them hopefully the Dodge house is better are can fix it but that's not right after paying all that money that was our kids summer vacation money now it's gonna be Christmas money trying to fix it not goin back due to issue and those problems so sad and angry! If I could put no stars I would. My vehicle had a problem with the ABS which I was aware of, when they towed my vehicle here they had it for 4 days. Every day calling saying there were additional problems that I knew were false. When all was said and done they said it would cost over $2k to fix the ABS. Well I ordered the part myself ($60) and put it on myself (30 minutes). I refused and went to pick up my vehicle and they STILL charged me $650 for nothing! They did no work, and somehow left my vehicle in worse condition. It was unaligned, breaks were completely useless (when they worked before) and they were rude and condescending when I told them it was completely unfair. In all fairness I should have never let my brother take my vehicle there in the first place. I specifically said not to take my vehicle anywhere because I had a plan already on how I planned on fixing it. My best advice is do it your research! If there's anything you can do yourself, DO IT! Its inexcusable to pay so much for simple maintenance work you can do yourself. Anything you cannot do yourself, search around. Most likely there's a mom and pop place that will show concern and fairness for you and your vehicle. Read reviews also, there's a chance that it will save you so much grief. read more

2001 Toyota Tundra: READ ME FIRST BEFORE GOING: I see a lot of negative reviews here. Let me tell you my experience. I have a Tundra that needed an alignment done. They promptly did the alignment the same day and called me. Here is where it gets good, 2 days later my lower ball joint and lower control arm bushings were bad. They had not noticed this before the alignment or during. I called them up at 7a.m. and Carlos/Edward had my truck towed back to their shop on their dime. Fixed the issues and I was on my merry way. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend you see them. This is my opinion and before reading bad reviews, make your own decision. They were willing and able to work with me. Absolutely awful. Overfilled my car with oil. Went in for an alternator replacement, at first they quoted me the part at 700 for aftermarket, when I found the same part for 200 they then back peddled. Left my breather laying loose under the hood, didn't completely ground everything , most unprofessional. The attitude of the staff is terrible. Had scheduled an appointment to have the front brake pads changed out on wife's vehicle. Had experienced a little dragging on a couple of hard, quick stops and felt that they were ready to be changed out. My scheduled appt. was for 9:30 but was informed on my phone visit with them that there would be a good chance of getting in a little early than this if I arrived at the store at an earlier time. Once at store (8:40), they got me signed in and say, within about 40 minutes, they pulled my vehicle into the bay. Pulled tires off of vehicle and inspected the brakes. All pads looked in good shape and they notified me of this finding. Re-mounted tires and gave me a few pointers on this. Whole crew was very courteous!
