They ran my truck (chevy Silverado turbo 2022) without oil Twice before they found out then lied to me saying they just needed to top it off then proceeded to put all the oil it needed but it started throwing white smoke out of the back and check engine came out, then they tried saying a "SENSOR" messed up because they ran it without oil 2 times a "SENSOR" then they told me the owner or boss of the shop told me to drive off with it or they can get a tow truck to tow it for me to my hotel (im from houston tx im only here for work) so i said no because they messed up my truck im not touching or driving it and they tried blaming it on me saying "we dont know if it was already messed up or it was going to mess up soon" they tried blaming the white smoke coming out of the exhaust on "condensation" but obviously it wasn't doing it before they ran it twice with no oil and the check engine light turned on after they ran it twice with no oil. The owner was trying to get me to just drive off in my truck to wash his hands until i asked for the video footage thats when they said they would submit a claim i was there from 1pm to 5:30 pm then they lied to me saying they would tow it to a chevy dealership and towed it to a 2 star rating shop but i found that out after the tow truck driver already had the truck lifted he's the one who told me about it.. they had promised me a loner vehicle so i can get by till my truck was ready then they said sorry they just closed right now you will have to wait till tomorrow like i wasn't there from 1pm-5:30 pm they had plenty of time to get it done but anyways they promised to get me one again today but i never got no call or anything so i called them and they said "sorry we cant do anything until Monday" now im stuck here in a hotel with no transportation and a risk of losing my job 8 hours away from home while my truck is in a shady 2 star shop when i had asked for it to be taken to a chevy dealer but i recorded every conversation of all the fake promises and them admitting to running my truck without oil twice and it turned the check engine on after and the white smoke happening after i have all conversations recorded as well as pictures and videos of everything from the owner telling them to tell me they cant do anything about it to lying about sending it to chevy and the loaner car and trying to ge me to drive off with it to take the responsibility from their hands.. im here in the dark i was provided with no number to call or reach out but i do not want my truck to be "fixed" or "checked" by a shady 2 star mechanic. My truck was good from factory and i want my truck to remain factory not no shady dealer magic or engine replacement so it can mess up on me a few weeks or months down the line if anyone wants the video proof and conversations please let me know i have all 4 hours and 30 minutes worth. This is the third time I visit this place in a 2 year span and I can say the customer service is always great. Being a woman you don't always know about car stuff but here they tell you ahead exactly what they're about to do. They even go above and beyond by offering their customers water. The last time I went to take 5 yall didnt have the oil needed to due an oil change on my truck.  So this time I said I'll give them another chance to waist my time but this time I asked the manager b4 I waited in line for 2 hours if he had the right stuff to change my oil, he looked at me and responded to me like I was a idiot and said yeah we do.  Well after hours of waiting and an hour to do half of the job on my truck and after seeing the whole shop  walk around like they havent a clue what's going on tell me that they don't have any fuel filters.  Thanks for waiting my time. read more

Pulled into the station to get an oil change, the assistant manager came out with water immediately and was very accommodating. When he saw we had our pup In the truck he went and got dog treats for him. The oil change was very fast and efficient, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a Take 5 oil change station. I noticed previous reviews weren't very flattering, hopefully it was because folks like the assistant manager I dealt with weren't there when others had a poor experience. read more

This place changed ownership. Along with changing the oil they would vacuum the front, clean the windows and check the air in your tires. Needless to say I won't go back because all they do now is change the oil and by the way takes them just as long. Don't wast you time and money! read more

So they are deleting negative reviews now. They ruined my cars engine refused to acknowledge anything about it. Just flat out ignored me and my requests for a copy of the pictures they took of my engine. I told them I wanted an appeal and wanted to know what insurance company they use. Should be public info and they blocked me and deleted my review. Interesting I still have the review in my email tho. With the date and managers Name and number. Need to look into filing a class action lawsuit. If you write a review about this place, also take a picture from now on and keep for records. It shows a pattern of lying and covering up. read more

Well I'll never come here again. After being quoted 30 minutes for an inspection I wait 45 and then when I finally get someone to tell me if I'm next they said it will probably be another hour. There is no one available to assist, it's unorganized and the employees ignore you unless you directly comfort them. Very disappointed read more

I have been setting here for 30 min. There's no line employees just walking around on there phone. No one has even attempted to help me!

My usual place was way backed up, so I tried Advance. No line! Now I know why. The receipt described how they filled all the underhood fluids, filled my tires to 40 (!) all around, vacuumed the interior. They did not fill my washer fluid. The tires were 35, 35 33 32 No vacuuming done at all. They did try to sell me a new air filter, and rear differential service- I needed neither of these, according to the Ford motor company. Next time I'll wait in line at my usual place. read more

I personally wish I could give this place a Zero. I called before I went in for my oil change this morning and I was told by the front desk or I assume was the front desk woman, you never know anymore, well i was told by whoever that my oil change would be no more than 50 dollars and they would be able to handle all the things I needed done like refill my coolant and break fluid and windshield wiper fluid. So I go there to get it all done well, I ask for the service I needed and then the guy tells me he can't do half of it because I would need to go to a real mechanic for those services, all he could do was the oil change and the wiper fluid, I was upset but still went through with it then they pushed me through the bay to start, never asked me what oil I needed or wanted then once I was done he then proceeded to tell me my price which was 98 dollars for my small 4 cylinder car, meaning he gave me the most expensive service they had to offer with out my consent. Once he saw I was frustrated he then tried to give me a ($20) "discount " for it being an inconvenience. Terrible and I mean absolutely terrible service I will 100% never go back or recommend this awful place ever again I hope they close down for good. read more
