Wife recently went to Firestone to have a tire fixed because of a screw in the tire - she was told she needed a new tire (these were new tires about 5 months old) and the tire couldn't be fixed - she's then called me- i said take your car to Forest Tire company down the street - she did and they fixed the tire for free ! if i could give zero i would. car has been there over a week for thermostat new coolant lid and to add coolant. the only reason i haven't picked my car up before that ive been working. i call everyday "the technician isnt in that working on your car yet" "we will give you a call" NEVER CALLS no update worst firestone experience ever. So I proceeded to call back after 4 or 5 hours has pass, next excuse is "should be done by the end of the day." if your from out of town like me and this is your last resort for a fix don't go here! Showed up at 3PM on a Sunday. I live in the DFW area and I needed help. The guy at Firestone said they have the tire in stock but could not do the work. He called the two other stores in Odessa and they also stated they could not put a tire on a car on Sunday. Completely pointless for a tire store to be open on Sunday if they won't help customers in need. read more

Do not take your truck here, I don't care if you call and they say be there at 8am and they will get your truck done. I was told they would call me around noon, no call. I called to check at 1pm and was told it was next. Waited until 3:30pm to check and still nothing and I was told again it's next. Don't lie to your customers and say it'll be done if you can't get it done. Just be honest and ask the customer to reschedule at the very least. read more

The Managers Seth Hodges and Richy Erwin were incredibly helpful. I had an out of state pre purchase vehicle inspection to navigate all the way from San Diego. They provided me with invaluable information about the vehicle since they were literally my eyes for attempting to make a long distance vehicle purchase. Customer service at its best. This Firestone needs to taking hiring serious. Employees blame 4 to 5 hour waits on lack of staffing. The parking lot is empty no cars in parking lot waiting to be seen. Every time I make an appointment early in the morning it takes an hour for it to be pulled in. Firestone, DONT be sorry and run your business properly. read more

If I could leave no stars, I would. I have been taking my car to Firestone for 9 years. Today, this was the first time at this location and I'm never going back. We set up an appointment last week, for 730 this morning to have the Ebrake fixed. At 1115 am, they called to say many other things needed to be fixed. We asked them to fix only the Ebrake and they told us it would be an hour. At 12, we showed up and they said they got another car in before us and it would be yet another hour. We asked for our car back and then they told us they were charging us $43 for an inspection. At no time did we ask for an inspection, we already had that and that's why we needed the Ebrake replaced. This location is useless. If I made an appointment with you, a week ago, take the time to get the appointment in before a walk in or one of your friends. Don't tell me it will be done in an hour and then 45 minutes into it...nevermind, another hour. We drove 58 miles just to bring our car in this morning. I'm disappointed with the service and a manager needs to get their crew in line. read more

I've taken my car to the Firestone for basic auto maintenance and tires for 16 years. They have always done a good job. On two occasions they made mistakes (and who doesn't), but they never made excuses and did everything they could to correct the problems. They are good folks here. I will continue to recommend them to my friends. read more

I wish I had read reviews of this store before I bought tires here. I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Lariat; and I bought 4 new tires here about 2 months ago. I had a flat yesterday afternoon and have road hazard on all tires so I brought it in this morning to get the tire repaired. The guy that "helped" me was incredibly rude and acted like he was too good to work at Firestone and that I was an inconvenience to him. They fixed my flat after an hour and a half, and when I asked him where to pull the truck up to have the tire put on, he got visibly upset that I wanted it put on. Finally, he refused to put my spare tire back where it went, and just threw it in the back of the truck. So, a summary... they were slow, rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience by expecting them to honor the road hazard warranty that I paid for. I am considering buying 4 more tires somewhere else just so I don't have to deal with their customer "service" anymore. If you have a choice, DO NOT USE this shop. I know I won't if I have a choice. read more

My daughters car was damaged (door) on lifting the car up, tried to haphazardly fix it. When pressed, they said they would fix the car however couldn't give a time frame. Now, my daughter is without transportation, has no rental car and the customer service # has been of no help thus far (on chat disconnected the conversation before a resolution could be reached). Looks like we'll have to get a attorney involved. Sure wish this could have been handled at the branch level, but customer service seems like a foreign subject at this location. read more

This was the store in the Permian Basin that had the tire we needed. We called to make sure it was in stock, it was= 1 star. We made an "appointment" in order to be in and out= 1 star. We arrived and they're not honoring our appointment=-1 star. They said tire would be mounted in less than 45 minutes & told customer after me that her oil change would be ready in an hour, not too bad=1 star. I went to grab a bite to eat, returned 45 minutes later and they hadn't touched my tire plus the oil change lady was done=-1 star. On top of not having my tire ready to go as had been stated; the sales guy ran out to me to try to convince me to purchase new tires for my car because he needed to get rid of the tires, he stated my tires looked like they needed to changed. I smiled and told him, thanks for the offer these are 2 day old tires. Seems like honesty + customer care could use some improvement or quota pressures dropped. The facility was clean and the employees otherwise were personable=1 star. read more

If I could avoid giving this establishment 1 star, I would, as they deserve a 1/4 of a star. I called before my arrival and was told there was a 1.5 hour wait. I drove a little more than an hour to get there only to be told then, there was a 3.5 hour wait. I only needed 1 tire repaired or replaced and the truck was a rental and the costs would be covered by the rental company. Approval is needed for all repairs, which is understood, so I contacted the rental company for approval. Three hours later, once my truck was taken back, I was notified that I needed a new tire which required another approval. I called personally both times for the required approval instead of waiting on the electronic request to be submitted and reviewed. Another 1.5 hours after the approval, my tire was still not installed. Roughly 6.5 hours for one tire. I don't know if it's just me, but that's ridiculous. Would not refer this particular firestone to anyone that values time. read more

Employee said they can get my requested service by closing at 6:00. Called at 5:00 and they had not gotten to it nor could guarantee it would be done by 6:00. I could have drove across the state, got it done, and drove back in 6 hours. Wouldn't buy from, or recommend ANY service they may offer even if I was stranded on the side of the road at midnight in the rain watching an approaching tornado. read more
