What a joke! I got a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation for $35 - which was a steal! Customer service was crap, Alberto couldn't be bothered to get off his phone while I waited at the counter and the other agent was on the phone. Finally got assisted, with an attitude bc I didn't want to provide my address for "promotional mail." My appointment was at 3:15 (I arrived a little early), the car didn't go into the bay until 4:08pm and I finished at ~5:20. I JUST had my Honda serviced by my trustworthy mechanic in June for my 90,000 mile service and everything was changed, topped off and inspected. No problems!! Got told (by Alberto at Midas) "we didn't really find nothing wrong with your car except your brake fluid is contaminated." I don't know how this place has 4 stars. Let me start off by saying their operating hours do not operate at 8 am. You guys need to change your hours to 8:30 am since your workers don't know how to get to work on time. You guys have paying customers waiting outside for who knows how long. They show up whenever they want to show up. That's BAD business to begin with. This is everyday as I've came here twice and notice they don't care about their customers. If you purchase Groupon. BEWARE!! You will get pushed back a month out just to get your quick oil change. Unless your like me and show up at 8 am and try to get in because your car needs the oil change ASAP. Mind you they will not tell you when your car will be ready hence they have so many Groupons and cars they are working on. They tell you this so you can take your business elsewhere. Which I will now. My car was ready in about 3 hrs. Now this is the worst part. They talk about they take great care of your car and run diagnostics to see if they find anything etc... that's why it takes awhile for them to do oil changes. They are not the quick 15 min oil changes. When it clearly says that! Anywho I'm driving my vehicle and I notice a boom under my car, I'm thinking it's the next car to me and it wasn't. Made an appointment for an alignment, when I got there the specific machine had been broken for days and they didn't inform me and I wasted my afternoon driving there and back. Made a second appointment a couple weeks later in the morning, I was there only customer. Took an hour before they even pulled my car in to get started. Amazing service. My went to another Midas last year and had the absolute worst experience. I had to go back over and over in a period of a month to fix what they did to my car. Now 1 year later my brakes were (again) squealing and vibrating. This time I went to the Midas on Convoy because I read their great reviews. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue (correctly) in just 3 short hours, and they even brought me over to see what the issue was so I understood what needed replacing. It took two trips but they offered a free service so I came in. They had to wait for the exhaust to cool off before servicing the car. Took a long while and the service took less then 10 minutes once the engined cooled. They have t.v and magazines with some seating so it's comfortable. I have a 2017 Toyota and I've always had the choice of which engine oil I wanted with Valvoline, but with Midas they told me I had to do a full synthetic no other options. I had my car serviced by this location back in November 2023. They said the brake pads and my alignment needed to be fixed. They did the services and WOW I was not expecting the price tag. I figured well maybe this is the price everywhere (Since buying the car in 2018 I haven't had either of these services done). I had to return twice for them to replace the left strut due to the part they used having a "manufacture defect". TWICE. I chose the more expensive parts since I drive all of socal for work on a day to day basis and need my car to be reliable and they still had to be replaced twice. As for my brakes, I have had to bring my car back three times now because of the grinding noise. The first time all they did was clean it. The second time they actually replaced it. All was good up until a week ago when the grinding sound is back and sounds like my brakes want to give up at any moment. I came in first thing Saturday morning to have it looked at. The manager informed me that they cant do anything because they dont hear a sound. Well guess what, there is in fact a sound! The only thing they wanted to do was keep my car and waste my gas driving it around to see if a sound would appear for them. I work saturdays so this was not an option. He could honestly care less about the work they do there. Truthfully based on my experience and the other reviews, he possibly just doesn't like women. I have contacted corporate about this and am hoping to get a refund for the service that has been botched and looked over. read more

Went in for multiple things. Got them all fixed after a few calls and updates. Their service is good. But a little shady... They gave a quote, but the price didn't make sense. The labor cost was more than twice the amount of what the parts were even worth. We finally agreed with a price over the phone, but when I went in the front desk guy that called me feigned ignorance and said he never agreed to that price. That it was his mistake, maybe he misheard. He was on speaker and my wife and I heard him loud and clear to what price was agreed on. Sure mistakes happens, but this is sounding a little familiar. When I initially came in someone called saying that the front desk guy offered them $X price for this service. But when the bill came, guess what, same thing, he never agreed to that price, normal price is $Y. I'm was a returning customer. They fixed my car multiple times. Relative went to get his catalytic converter replaced about a week before giving it to me as a gift. Ruben fixed it, but did not bother to give him the paperwork or instruction necessary so it could pass a smog check. I had to call and have them email me the paperwork. Anthony, one of the managers, asked me to give him an hour to email the paperwork... after 2 hours without receiving an email, I had to call back to find out they sent it to some other email other than mine. I had to call back about 4 or 5 times and ask for Anthony only to hear "He stepped out," or "He's unavailable," or some other dumb answer. 4+ hours later, I still have not resolved this issue which should have been solved a week ago which is the very same day they fixed the catalytic converter.
