We love Dr. Ham and Dr. Chapman! They are compassionate and gentle with our dogs and address our concerns and canine health issues completely. The entire staff is trained in handling the anxious pet. They have always been on time, but we would be understanding if we had to wait because emergencies do happen. They saw us through with our senior dog's many issues and take fabulous care of our 4 year old Lab-Aussie. The prices are market fair. Dr.Chapman is amazing!!! We were previously seeing a Vet in Destin and it wasn't a good fit for us so we made the change to Midbay. I can't say enough good things. Our golden retriever has had an issue for awhile and every vet we saw never took the effort to make a diagnosis let alone do proper testing. Dr.Chapman didn't hesitate to do labs and X-rays right then. She sent us home with lots of information to look over and gave us a referral and some extra testing that needs to be done. We're finally getting answers and it's because of Dr.Chapman. Our tech we've seen twice now Nina is also awesome and always takes such good care of us. You won't regret taking your babies here! I arrived ten minutes early for my 11:20 appointment. I asked the receptionist at 11:45 when I would be seen. She said they were running late due to "emergencies." I was told I had to wait another 10 minutes. The person who was seen right before me was considered 'urgent care' for an eye scratch follow-up and obviously wasn't scheduled. So, my appointment was getting pushed back for over 40 minutes for a non-emergency. This vet should have the non-emergency cases wait so scheduled pets can be soon first. read more

This place is beyond ridiculous! They had my dog on a lifelong heart medication and then denied seeing her because of a review. The place wouldn't see five dogs, so I kept two there and took my other three elsewhere. They lied and stated we have five large dogs. Liars and vengeful! Since a review was left, they denied service to my older dog. They put the dog on the medication! This place is corrupt and vengeful. read more

The miscommunication between receptionist, staff, and doctor are poorly lacking. I completely understand being busy. But, this is the health of animals. Hire someone else so that everything is taken care of and that people are not left on hold for 15 minutes. My husband gave the rating of how he felt at the appointment (2). Next day, phone call from office ended with us being terminated and to seek care elsewhere. Really! I couldn't be more impressed with this veterinarian clinic we've been using them since 2017, so just over four years. They've been great to both of our dogs one is a lab mix, and the other a full black lab. Both dogs were up in years and they have just been so great with our dogs, including putting one of them down, which is so hard for any pet owner. Anytime we've had issues they've come with multiple solutions and allow us to choose.The facility is so amazingly clean, and the staff is exceptionally trained. I've gone to veterinarian clinics all over the country as a military veteran and used three clinics here in town. The others are good, I think this place is great. And there's a difference that you'll notice. read more

Love this clinic. The care and treatment of the animals is 5 star. My nervous puppy did really well with Dr. Chapman and her tech for shots and HW check. Dr. Chapman prescribed medications to help my 12 year year old Wheaten Terrier, Carley, with her pain due to neck and back problems. When we had our first appointment she could hardly walk. Every other vet wanted to put her on steroids. Carley is active and pain free!!!!! read more

If I could give a zero, I would. After 25 years of dealing with vets, their customer service and office manager, Natasha, are the worst. Her response to my concerns were, "I am sorry you feel that way." I asked to speak to a vet and she refused. They have you prepay for the initial appointment, which I have never experienced before. You have to wait over a month to get an initial appt. They provide no flexibility when you have more than one pet. Your animal's well-being is not their priority. I would NEVER recommend them. read more

Took my dog in for her yearly exam and they were so thorough. Everyone was so gente with my little dog who is always very nervous at the vet. My daughter took our cat to Midbay twice. The second time she was 5 minutes late and the receptionist reprimanded her rudely. After waiting a few minutes she decided she doesn't want to stay and left. A month later we received a letter from Midbay telling us that they will not deliver any further services to us due to my dauthter's "unprofessional" behavior. 1. My daughter is 16! 2. Since Dr. Brightman retired, I needed to find another vet. Dr Chapman of Midbay Vet spent an hour with me when I took my cat in today. Which was amazing, I have never spent so much time with a vet before and it was really appreicated. My cat is kind of a handful and has tremendous anxiety about going to the vet. So he was a mess, hissing and shaking really bad. She took her time with him and talked a long time with me about his arthitis in his hip. I was even lucky enough too get some X-rays done to calm my nervous about a prior surgery he had to have done. In 7 years since the surgery no other vet would do X-rays on him, but she did and now I have some kind of peace of mind that its just arthritis and not something worse. Really good prices actually. So a big Thank You to Dr. Chapman. Great visit, I will be coming back. read more
