We've been coming here for over 10 years now, and never miss getting a custom birthday cake for the pups every year. The newly added freeze fried/raw bar is incredible and worth every penny! When our pup went through chemo and would go days without eating, the staff helped out tirelessly more times than i can count with suggestions until we found a solution; seeing him happily eat again was a greater gift than i can explain, and am endlessly thankful to them for it. 1000/10, the absolute best local shop in Fort Walton, Destin and Pensacola for dogs. read more

Stopped by for the first time with my wife and teenage daughter to take a look. My first impression is that this is a very clean, well-maintained store dedicated to assist you with your doggie obsession. I've never seen things like birthday cakes for dogs or homemade doggie treats. But overall it was a very enjoyable 20 mins that I spent within the store. What a CUTE store. I brought my pooch in here with my mom while on a visit home. My mom said, "You have got to bring Zoey here!" Talk about treat galore. The staff person working gave my pooch a treat while I picked from an assortment of truffles, cannolis, cookies and biscuits. They also sell doggie ice cream. I picked up a small container of Peanut Mutter for Zoey. They also have a large assortment of toys, clothes and food for dogs, albeit the accessories are a bit more expensive than what I would spend on my dog. The on-site canine was sweet as well and played with my pooch while we were there. I will be coming back around Christmas to treat my dog to another round of yummy treats. read more

Best place ever. I wish I knew it existed earlier so all my kids could have a birthday cake. It's clean and well organized. The staff is super friendly to my fur kids. I don't care so much about me, but if a business is nice to my fur babies then I'll go to that place. This place will be my new destination for my shopping for my kiddos. The birthday cakes are so cute and my babes loved them!! Got one for the first time for my 1 year old Aussiedor. It's a bit expensive but that's what you pay for good quality. I got my aussiedor a stuffed alligator toy that I knew she would destroy and she hasn't. Love this place. read more

LOVE 3 Dogs and a Chick. The bakery treats are always beautiful and super unique. They make really cool gifts because you really can't get treats like this anywhere else! Plus I love that they make wheat free treats for dogs with allergies -- and those are very pretty too ;) Also, Dogs and a Chick's events are really fun and are great for the community. It is awesome to be able to get the dogs together and meet people that love dogs as much as you do. Super fun, great atmosphere, friendly staff, highly recommended! What's not to love about a doggie bakery?! It's literally next to the Cupcakery by the Sea so while you're getting your sweet tooth on why not get your four legged friend their sweet tooth on too?? They have a bunch of organic type items for your dog, and get this COCONUT OIL for your puppy?? So for my healthy living people doesn't that sound just hilarious to also have that available for your second child?! Place is pricey but everything I saw in there was so gosh darn cute. If I wasn't allergic to dogs I'd get a puppy quick and shop for them there. My boyfriend and I were visiting and I spotted this place as we drove by. Always on the lookout for dog-friendly places since we travel with our pooches, plus we're used to living with a dog bakery within walking distance, so we were stoked to find this one. The women that worked there was very sweet, offered our two pugs treats and water. She was very talkative and told us all about the store as we lingered and looked at all the toys and harnesses. I was a little thrown off by some of the ingredients in their treats, however. We always research foods before we give them to our dogs and certain things (like garlic and other herbs) are known to have long-term adverse affects in dogs; But apparently the owner thinks otherwise. Luckily, there was a huge selection and we picked out a few to take home for our little ones. One thing I liked about our dog-bakery back home is that a lot of their dog treats are soft, with frosting or more of a cake-like texture. Obviously these softer treats must be baked and sold within a few days and the hard, cookie like ones will last much longer but I would liked to have seen a little more variety in that aspect. (I can make hard peanut butter & flour treats at home instead of paying out the a** for them, I would rather pay for the use of more rare dog-friendly ingredients like carob) We also bought a cute little toy (a very long 'weiner' dog made with ACU fabric) that I could tell was of the handmade kind but looked sturdy. Our two pugs loved it...and busted it open within a day...another toy I have to fix! Overall, a good experience...I can't imagine running a successful dog bakery is easy. So good luck to them, but a little research and a more refined product line might help! Oh, but we can't forget that the sweet lady working there did suggest a great place that we could eat with our dogs (Harry T's, in Destin). read more

We've been by here three times now over the past couple of months. The first two times I brought our Pom, Fred, in for treats. We ended up getting cookies and ice cream both times. My husband and I took him back yesterday to pick up some food they had ordered for us. This is a wonderful, independent shop. They are located in the downtown area of Mary Esther on the main road. You can park along 98 or in the back. Each time we've been in the employees have been super friendly and helpful. They are so nice to Fred and have given him treats each time. We've gotten bacon ice cream and cheeseburger ice cream - both of which Fred loved. They have a huge variety of treats that chain stores don't offer. Tons of cookies that they make in site, as well as cakes. So, so cute! Yesterday we got Fred an iced dolphin cookie. He loved it! In addition to baked treats they offer plenty of treats for them to chew on - animal feet, hooves, rawhide, etc. All thoroughly disgusting to me, but delicious to the pooches. There is a large variety of food, none of which you will find in the chain stores. They also sell clothing for people - dog themed shirts, some of them with the shop's logo. I'm leaving a ton of what they sell out, I know. I just can't think of it all. We will continue to shop with them, and my husband and I both highly recommend them! read more

Cute store. Employee was not overly friendly. Didnt really speak much. Now I was kinda dissapointed in the store products. My baby dont like hard and crunchy treats. They only had two soft style treats available. I am staying in Navarre and those were melted by the time I made it back. Now on the window it says bakery and boutique. Well I did not see any type of clothing for dogs. That was the main reason I stopped here. They had limited treats and toys. Many collars to choose from and have pet adoption. Also several speciality foods available. All in all, I could of skipped on this store. read more

I try to shop local when I can & this place is adorable! The only thing I really purchase from here is their dog treats, which are made in-house. My favorite is the bag of "Table Scraps." It's a bag of all of the leftover treats that didn't sell or what was leftover after the baking process & they're just crumbled up into bite-size pieces. You can only get they're unique treats here, which is what I like about it most. Every once in awhile I'll buy a toy or two, but usually my stops are for their all natural treats! I absolutely love this locally owned pet store. My husband and I try to go as often as possible to get treats and goodies for our chocolate lab. Due to our work schedules we often go within 30 minutes of closing and I always receive top notch customer service. Our dog, Winnie, loves the treats they make! We have four dogs that we spend a small fortune on each month in food and toys, so a coworker suggested this store since we currently drive out of our way to get our dog supplies. Their prices are higher than the dog boutique we shop at in Destin, which is weird since you would expect lower prices in Fort Walton than in Destin but ok. We felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there and the vibe was just totally off. My boyfriend asked a question about the ingredients in one of their baked treats since our youngest dog has allergies, and their response made it seem like he was an idiot for even asking. Our friendly dog who is usually pretty chill was also nervous and weird the entire time we were in the store ... the experience was just bad for all of us and I'm not sure how this place has good reviews. We ended up buying a small $8 (!) bag of treats just so we didn't leave empty-handed and our dogs did like them, so it wasn't a totally wasted trip. Then again our dogs will eat pretty much anything so I don't know. For us it's worth going elsewhere. read more
