My (stray) cat had strong symptoms of something systemic going on. Even after I asked twice why we weren't giving antibiotics, I was sent home with a tranquilizer and a pain medication that makes a cat drowsy. My cat got worse and the following day. I called the doctor (Dr. Michael Beckham) twice and he encouraged to use the medication which I had initially not given him. I went back Sunday morning because my cat was almost comatose. I saw that his leg had swollen. Dr. Dean was more engaged. Questions were asked about leukemia and FIV and rabies vaccinations. My cat had an abscess on the leg. Rabies was on the table since I didn't know his vaccination status. I was told to stop using the tranquilizer (gabapentin) and the pain meds as they were not allowing to see his development. He received an antibiotic injection, and I took antibiotics home to treat him for 10 days. He is better this morning, Monday. I am angry with myself that I didn't insist on the antibiotics Friday night. I knew enough and had this gut feeling. Yes, the bloodwork was not totally definitive, but in doubt it's best to just go for it. I questioned the initial medication plan but no one could really explain to me the reasons for that decision. My cat was not in pain. He had symptoms of his body failing to function.

She never displayed any symptoms of sickness and was the hardest decision to make to let her go peacefully. The doctor and staff made this awful moment as kind and respectful as possible. The doctor was very informative and understanding. The staff was polite and empathetic. They allowed us time to process, and make a decision. All of our questions were answered and options were made available that changed the rest of our lives forever. After some time we chose to have Tootie put to sleep instead of bringing her back home. I cried on the floor next to her when she drifted off to sleep. The painful feeling that she was gone was so strong i didn't realize the doctor was on the floor next to me too. She gave me unfathomable strength by just being next to me. After a week or so we were called saying Tootie was ready to come home. We were gifted with beautiful keepsakes and today she sits on the mantle in the living room. Thank you everyone here for making a tragedy into something special and very beautiful. Thank you

I'm sure emotional people pay it though. They proposed that he be facilitated for 3 days overnight with a catheter to clear his bladder. I was firm that I only wanted his blockage immediately cleared, and for him to be discharged by the end of the day. Took him to my vet the next day and paid a very small fraction of the price for virtually the same proposed work, $300. Long story short, Put your foot down, do what your intuition tells you is best. I walked out of this place only paying $350, and my cat is FINE.

I didn't ask them to call me back but later in the day, another person called me and she didn't apologize not even once but the whole time she said the my dog wasn't bleeding at the store and that had to happen after we left the store. I tried explaining to her but she kept on interrupting and she won't let me talk. She keeps saying that she watched the video and she saw that the technician did not do anything wrong and I was frustrated because she didn't want to hear anything I said. She said I am rude and she will hung up. I said I'm not cursing at you , you can't hung up on me, and I tried explaining and she hang up on me. I was not yelling or cursing not even once. Later on I took my dog back there to show them what happened, but she was there and she didn't even trying to listen to me at all but she kicked me out. She said she is going to call the police on me. I have recorded everything. I was calm and professional. She wasn't.

My dogs slept in playroom since they always stay together, I asked if I should bring their beds and was told it was not necessary cots or pallets would be provided but if I wanted to bring something from home like a blanket or toy to have a familiar scent so I provided their blankets. One of my dogs is 15yrs old and has health issues and as I said my other dog has issues with her knees and they were forced to sleep on the concrete floor with only their blankets I brought. Also wanted to bring their huge bowl they drink out of and is enough for 3 dogs and was again told not too they had plenty of bowls. I have videos showing only one small bowl for my three babies to share was there at closing till someone came in on the weekend the next day. When I made multiple complaints finally a pail was brought in which I was told they should have had from the start. I made my complaints and was told that management would be talked to and they would mention compensation because they agreed I didn't not get the services for my dogs that I was assured I would and the incident with dragging my dog was wrong. I waited over a mth and no one ever got back to me I reached out today and was told it was not mandatory to provide cots or make pallets well why the heck didn't you say that and let me bring my fur babies beds when I asked instead of saying you would provide that and refusing their bowl. I was told no compensation and that there were two bowls in there when I have proof there was 1 and why did they bring a pail in then when I complained? Plus more than anything dragging my terrified baby. I will never board my animals there again since it's excuses and no accountability. To say you sent the same person u have had problems with before since multiple complaints about them from other people back to training after it took me showing I had the video of my fur baby being dragged. That person shouldn't even be allowed to work there if it's not just me complaining. Just terrible and I hate to have to post this but it's necessary. I will not say that no one there is good because that's not true. There are some staff that truly love the animals but unfortunately this took place and ruins it for the good ones.

When we arrived to drop them off, the staff wasn't friendly or inviting, which should have been our tell-all. Walking back to the kennel, it was dark, cold, uninviting, and sad. The worst part was picking them up. We arrived early, which gave us the true picture of their time there. They were so frantic to get out of there, they weren't happy to see us, but instead blazed past us for the front door like they were trying to escape. We've never seen them act this way. Despite having "outdoor access" their beds and blankets smelled so badly of pet waste we had to discard them, and they were having to lay in that filth and stink because they seemed to have had nowhere else to go. They also had never been given their toys or treats. The staff was as cold and unfriendly as when we left them, we should have run for our lives and never ever left our babies there. Expensive and horrible.
