I bought a stick on full wall wallpaper from limitlesswalls.com for our office. According to the instructions it looked like an easy job to do but I sensed reading the instructions that it won't be as easy as it sounds. So I asked limitlesswalls.com to recommend some professional installers in the NYC area. I called MidCiti interiors and spoke with Gordon. Initially I thought the rate was high just to install a stick on wallpaper but Gordon was very professional and explained to me in very technical detail exactly what was involved and why the cost was justified. I was convinced of the work and ofcourse the stylish British accent helped too :) But just to get a frame of reference in pricing, I called up another company in Queens to check on the price and they quoted me a much higher price. I called Gordon back and he asked me to give him the exact details of the wallpaper and even called the company for me to get details on materials etc. so that he could come with all the required materials. He told me that because I had existing wallpaper that had texture, he will need to prime the wall with adhesive material so that the new stick on wallpaper won't come off easily. On the day of the job, Gordon came with one of his crew members. Both of them were highly professional. They mapped out the wall and laid down the huge wallpaper that came in 3 parts which made installation even tougher. Gordon pointed out that the wallpaper I ordered fell short by a few inches in height and won't cover the entire wall. I was quite disappointed by my own mistake in measuring the wall height incorrectly but Gordon immediately made some great suggestions to still make it look amazing without anyone even noticing the tiny gap towards the bottom of the wall. He also helped me install the office door sign without even charging me anything for it. Overall I am very happy with Gordon's work and without a doubt, I will highly recommend him to all my friends and family.
