Nice guy. Reasonably priced. Excellent quality. Scott does an impeccable job, he is professional, extremely knowledgeable and very detailed oriented. I know nothing about tints I only knew how I wanted my car to look, I had been looking online for places and reading reviews and decided to call Midco for a quote. Once I called and spoke with Scott I knew instantly I'd be doing business with him. Of course I had a million questions and he was so patient and so kind. He informed me of the Illinois laws and legal tint measurement, I explained that my car was a luxury sedan and I wanted a light tint rather than a heavier sporty tint and not only did he guarantee my satisfaction but he assures his work with a lifetime warranty (that will not be needed!). He explained early on that because the weather was colder it would take an extra hour to dry and that any imperfections would disappear within days. When I picked my car up I was literally in awe! There were no visible bubbles, scratches or anything. The level of detail is impressive, he covered all of the windows completely. The tint was the perfect shade and completely transformed the look of my vehicle. He is highly recommended and not only will I refer him to others but all of my future vehicles will be done by him as well. I called to get a quote and he was the most informative person I had talked to...after talking to 4 other companies throughout the day! He had so much patience with me and answered all of my questions and then some! I purchased a new truck about a week ago and I was in need of a good tint shop. After completing a google search Midco Tinting came up with great reviews. The current reviews speak for themselves. Scott is very dedicated to his craft, my appointment was at 7am and I arrived about 15 minutes early. Scott was ready and took me right away, he even thanked me for arriving early. He was very thorough in explaining the different tint and which would work best for my vehicle. First time I ever had my windows tinted, and I'm so glad I went to Midco Tinting! Scott was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to answering my questions. My girlfriend bought me a gift certificate to get my windows tinted, and we are from the Fox Lake, IL. area, which is about 2 hours north of Scott, and it was definitely worth the drive! He takes his time and does it right the first time. I've had my tint on my car for about a month, and it still looks great! There aren't any streaks and tears or anything. I would never trust this place. The workers are shady and admittedly did illegal tints for police officers on personal use vehicles. That's a form of prejudice to only supply to a certain person. That is so illegal in itself. I have alot of contacts in law enforcement and I will be contacting them also people at the BBB to make sure this business is not accredited. my wife works for review sites as well as surveying businesses to insure they are clean and well managed as well as respectful and legitimate. She will also be working to make sure this business is shut down. read more

First off Scott is awesome!!! I actually just got home from Scott's shop.. It is hard to find nice honest business owners now days.. Not only is Scott a great person he is superb at wondow tinting.. I am so picky when it comes to my cars and he actually told me if he's able to please me he must be good.. Scott actually stayed 2 hrs past his closing time to finish my car due to my work schedule.. I first went here to have my car tinted in 2009 and I can say that I haven't seen such great work ANYWHERE else. Not only is Scott extremely friendly he is also extremely generous with pricing. My first experience with Scott and Midco was on my '08 Honda Fit. The quality, value, and all around experience was so good that I brought my '15 Mazda 5 to him a year after that. Great service and professional work. My favorite part was the advice and documentation he had to keep me legal if that's what I wanted. The tint on both of my vehicles are still perfect 1 and 2 years in. Scott did a great job and I have no doubts about his work. He explains everything he does and how the process goes. What a nice guy, taking time to answer questions I had about tinting laws even after I left his shop. I always do my research when I'm looking to work on my car. Scott's price was $50 cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere AND he tinted my whole car! The other shops I contacted were more expensive and they didn't include the windshield. Went to Scott after my husband jumped the gun and wanted the car tinted as soon as possible. He went to a place in Midlothian..needless to say there were scratches, bubbles, etc. When we went back they told us to 'let it settle' and then called and cursed us out. I live near O'Hare and the far drive and short time waiting for Scott's service is well worth it. Scott at Midco Tint is by far the most professional installer for window tint I've come across. I live roughly an hour away and pass countless tint shops to have my cars tinted by him. I took my Honda there today and Scott did a terrific job. We had windows that were tinted on our other car from a different tinter but Scott's work is far superior. I came home and my wife thought it was outstanding. He knows all the state laws not just for Illinois but some other states as well.
