If you are looking for kind, compassion in home pet euthanasia, I would definitely recommend this…read morecompany. Dr. Angela Schwimmer came out last weekend and was amazing with our Lhasa apso Sampson. She was gentle, loving and really gave us the peace of mind that we were doing the right thing. It was so comfortable for him to pass at home instead of a sterile office. The whole process was seamless and the respect she showed him and us was so appreciated during such a hard time.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a minor in Pre-Veterinary Studies from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez in 2014. She went on to complete both her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s of Public Health at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Since then, she has worked across various areas of veterinary care—including general practice, emergency medicine, and hospice and palliative care—before settling in the Shenandoah Valley with her family and three dogs. You’ll feel Dr. Prado Sanchez’s deep compassion and dedication the moment you meet her. Her calling to end-of-life care came during her time in emergency medicine, where she witnessed firsthand the emotional weight families carry when saying goodbye. She believes every pet deserves a serene, loving transition at home, and every family deserves the time and space to grieve in a familiar environment. Her calm presence and gentle approach help bring comfort during even the most difficult goodbyes.

My dogs allergy doctor told me to flush his ears TIW; Ms. Clayton said its not good , bacteria can grow and I believe she is right because I stopped flushing his ears and the ears have been clean. She also told me how to give his medication in peanut butter which worked great. The vet techs are all very nice. I brought my other dog here and it also was a good experience.

We would never put any animal through what our little precious guy went through at the end of his life. Dr. McCall was not compassionate, telling us he's in peace after putting him through screeching hell from the sedated shot she injected, which was burning him. The poor little guy was yelping and barking from pain. The only thing Dr. M. had to say is "he's sensitive". We had put six of our animals to sleep in WA & ID, including a small can that was the size of this dog, and never had an encounter of this type, of a horrific experience, which is embedded in my mind now. Earlier 8 months prior we had our doggie there for a heart ultrasound and the poor dog had so much anesthesia, he was in a stupor for two days. Who knows what they did to him then. We would never go there again...can't trust them with our pets. It was difficult enough to put our little guy down, but to watch what he went through was devastating. He did not deserve to end his little life this way. Regretfully, H. & J. French
