Up front I'd like to say I've never had any issue with personnel at this location. We rented a unit here when it was Glenside Storage and a smaller "mom & pop" business. Very friendly, helpful and competitively priced. My goods have been well protected by the non-climate controlled unit. The value of the storage began to drop soon after Midgard obtained the property and corporate ownership began managing the property. Rent went up seemingly monthly (probably more like quarterly) to the point that rent has more than doubled for the exact same 10x10 unit. As of December first the management wants to unilaterally resign all agreements, change to a locking system provided by Midgard, and to offer services already included in the rent as add on costs, for example if you want access 24/7 there's a fee for that. I cleaned out my unit and won't consider a Midgard site in the future. read more

this is the absolute worst self-storage ever so apparently when you save your card to your account, they automatically set your account up for auto-pay without informing the customer then when talking to the less than customer service agent, she says oh well since you saved it that makes it auto pay auto pay and save card info are two different things I have been planning on moving out of the storage anyway since they went up to 195 for a 10x10 basic storage then they make you pay for a lock 5.99 monthly fee umong other fees they've added on oh and before you move out, you have to give a 30 day notice they can kiss my ass read more

Midgard Self Storage - Exciting news as they labeled it - Self Storage Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

They have replaced all employees with iPad virtual assistance but yet the price just went up 50% for a tiny 10x10 unit (from 100 to 150). Plus the gate has been broken for weeks so the property is wide open with no human being employees on site. What a joke. read more

The absolute worst!! DO NOT rent storage unit on Glenside Ct in Mufreesboro TN!!! Find another location, perhaps they will be better. Or U-Haul I've never had a problem w them and they don't require a 30 day notice!!! Midgard, If you give notice, they still will charge extra month! Must be hard up! We had to pay (2) months for my daughters storage and nothing was in unit and we notified them w 30 day notice and then they charged for the next month and threatened a $100 fee attached if didn't pay by certain date. If I didn't care about credit scores, I would not have paid!!! Never again will any family member of ours rent from Midgard!!! read more

I store unimportant business records. Nothing sensitive. It is just a requirement. I have racks and boxes that would be very difficult to move. I have had a storage unit for LESS THAN a Year and have had 3 PRICE Increases. When I called for the manager, they said she was out and would call me back. I never received a call back. read more

I just had a price increase in April 2022 - now I am told I have another $30. price increase in July. This is 6 price increases in 2 years. I have had 2 of the increases postponed but it is a constant situation. The staff is very friendly and this is not their fault. But the upper management is contantly demanding price increases. I have work records stored in a unit with no electricity. It is costly to have to move these items - so they know they have me over a barrel. It is quite frustrating. read more

The business was sold a few months ago, and after speaking with the new manager, I was assured my unit price would not be increased. Should have had that in writing as I just received a notice that my unit's price is going up as of September 1st. read more
