We love this RV park. The owner, Karen is amazing, very personable and sweet. Nikki basically took our oldest son under her wing during our stay as we recently moved to TX and he hasn't met a lot of friends yet. We had three issues during our stay. One - often the washing machines and/or dryers are out of service and with a family of six that can be frustrating. Two - the water was shut off one evening and there wasn't communication to the tenants affected and did not end up getting resolved until almost midnight. Given it was 40 degrees, I wasn't going to take myself or my toddler and infant to the showers available within the park. Three - we had an issue with a VERY rude employee but luckily her poor behavior was addressed and is no longer an issue. This was a HUGE step up from the park we stayed in previously and I will definitely be back to bring my boys in to visit because they love everyone. read more

They are very clean sites, 2 dog parks , a shower house, a gym, polite employees. I would recommend and the price is not too bad.

This was a pleasant surprise. We wanted to spend 2 nights..one to see the local Oil Museum and one to just laze around. We figured this would be one of those "man camps" that are prevalent around the oil country but found it to be more pleasant than expected. The gravel was smooth and level, welcoming staff was very friendly and helpful, got an escort to our site (which we always appreciate), site was long enough that I did not have to unhook my "toad", and it was quiet throughout the day, evening and night. The highway noise is a bit much at night when the wind is blowing from the south and there's some sort of huge pump that goes 24 hours, but we're pretty well insulated so that was just a background hum. WiFi worked just fine. They even had a dog was room where I was able to wash out dog without having to kneel in our shower to wash her. All in all, a very nice stay read more

We spent one night here ok place to spend the night. This is a very large park with a lot of permanent residents but they had 12 pull through sites that seemed to be for overnighters. We were able to pull in and stay without unhooking which is a plus. The freeway is close by so there is road noise. We did not use the restrooms or laundry. Friendly staff. read more

Before I start the review, I want to emphasize how the owner did make a very positive offering to compensate our disappointment and worked thru a very professional maintenance worker to offer , which we excepted, room instead. Looking for a RV park near Midland, chose this one based on reviews, its list of amenities and having a pull thru site available. Finding the park in the dark was a challenge, which turns out was partially due to the business looking like a series of small cabins. After driving around was directed WAY behind the cabins. Dirt field, non-grated, poorly lit, no bath house and far from laundry. On a positive note, the cabins are comfortable. Nice shower & cable tv. STAY there. read more

Typical RV park that caters to the oil industry workers in the area. The sites are dirt and gravel, small and tight. The park has a small dog area and a building with bathrooms and laundry services that are heavily used by the long term residents. The price is reasonable and the staff was helpful. Midland RV Park - Campgrounds Near Me - Midland, Texas

This is a large park that is essentially a gravel lot. The management has cultivated small trees between many sites that would provide a little much-needed shade in the summer. We just stayed one night and did not use many of the amenities. There is a mix of permanent residents and regular campers. It's pretty quiet and seems to be mostly working people. There is road noise from the nearby highway but I didn't notice that until about 6am. I wanted to write a review to mention the positives here. We're on the road ALOT and my major gripe with so many campgrounds is that they advertise cable & wifi but don't deliver. I stay inside the camper with our baby while my husband works, especially when it's cold and a little tv or Internet access helps keep me company. So, this park offered wifi via several routers and we had full signal at an acceptable speed. Yay!! There is cable with several stations, some of which are a little fuzzy but it wasn't bad. It's west Texas, soooo... Let's just say I'm not a fan of Texas. But this is a nice park for the area that seems geared towards working folks. Oil production equipment next door was running all night. To prevent the water spigots from freezing, they have inverted plastic trash cans with a metal spotlight powered by an indoor extension cord to provide heat. I unplugged it and took my chances rather than have our rig catch fire. The smell of petroleum permeates the air. I'd skip Midland completely. read more

We are first time travelers with a vintage trailer. We found this place on Campendium. We made reservations by phone with Karen. She was so helpful and patiently answered any questions I had. When we arrived she was there to greet us and check us in. She introduced us to Steve , who drove ahead of us to lead us to our designated spot. Since we are "newbies" at this, we had a bit of trouble connecting a hose. Steve came to our rescue! This is what I call GREAT SERVICE! The campground was well organized and well kept. Restrooms and shower were private. Boy did the hot water feel good! For those who have a fur-buddy, this place has a few good fenced areas for your beloved pets. Thank you RV Midland for blessing our stay with you. If we ever drive through Midland, we will definitely stop again! read more

Stopped in for the night. These people are so nice and the park is super clean. We had a pull through site and was super easy. We chose not to unhook so even better and Uber came right to the site and picked us up to go eat. Not far from downtown. read more

The staff is the best here!! We were having truck probs, F-Ford, never again, the staff here went over and beyond to help us. They guided us to our site..level nice! We left, had more truck probs...called them they took care of us..held our spot the whole works. Dog walks, etc. I am picky, I would stay here every time I am in Midland, TX. Note: call ahead...dogs must be on leash, make sure you scoop the poop.... My wife and I thank this place for all their help they gave us: above and beyond. Thanks guys!!!! read more

Nothing fancy, but fine for an overnight stop on the long drive across Texas. The people who work here are super friendly and helpful. They also offer prompt propane service, if you need it. And TV quality (thru DirectTV) is excellent. read more

Staff was very friendly. Roads and sites are all dirt and gravel, but it is Midland. Lots of grassy areas though and 2 dog runs. The one I used has a lot of thick green grass and it looks like they water it a lot, my dog loved it. Wifi worked fast and it seems they have many hubs. Kind of hard to get to from the west but just keep following your GPS, you will get there. Easy in and out. Lots of long-term, but they appear to be oil people and keep their stuff clean and neat, not like some where they have a lot of crap stacked around. Will stay again for the night, in fact, have already made a reservation for my next trip through. read more

We stopped at this RV Park on our way back to NC and spent one night. The space was sufficient but no trees or table. We did like that it was drive through and level. However, if you are reliant on bathroom facilities you would not want to stay here. My sister and her husband were in a small vintage camper without a bath. She went to take a shower, which was 25 cents for 10 minutes, and there was no hot water. A cold shower in 65 degree weather is not fun. We understand that things break down but checking for hot water in a facility would be reasonable. Also commode stalls were very small. Lastly, the were friendly and Park was clean but I would not really recommend it if you require a bathroom or any amenities around your camper. read more

We arrived at nine at night so it was super dark, but looks like there are some spots with trees/grass 5. Very dark-no street lights so that could be a pro or con :) 6. For us, it was a little hard to find...you drive way back on gravel-ish roads and think you're about to get robbed or something and suddenly, there it is! Maybe a different feel in the day time? 7. Bathrooms were fine 8. Laundry facilities leave a little to be desired :) 9. Looks like they had a small playground, but again, it was DARK! 10. We came in late and left early in the morning but the management was fantastic about accommodating us! 11. Looks like a good number of people live there and or store their RV's there. 12. Very quiet. We stayed here one night in transit. My first complaint would be the lack of signage as far as which entrance to pull in to. We pulled in the first drive we came to and realized we needed to pull in to the next one over instead. The entrance we used had a propane station, which we needed to use, but we needed to turn around to have the propane tank facing the fill station (they had a short hose). So we drove thru the park to exit and return facing the right way and as we we going around a tight turn I heard branches scraping the roof and then I heard a sound that sounded like our tires were rubbing on something. I got out to look and we had run over 2 cones and had drove over a large rock which bent and scraped two of our compartment doors. Not happy at all !!! RV parks should drive a 40 ft motor home pulling a car thru their properties and remove any obstacles that may potentially be a hazard such as decorative rocks, low hanging branches and trimming overgrown bushes, etc. Anyhow, this park seems to be for permanent residents in travel trailers that they've turned into permanent structures. Oh and later on after our rock scraping episode, there was a fifth wheel parked in the road between the propane fill area and the office, so if we would have arrived later and pulled in the wrong drive like we did, we would have had to unhook the tow car and back the RV up and out. Enter and Exit signs are pretty helpful !!! And who parks a fifth wheel in the road to camp for the night???? I'm pretty sure the campground was not full. read more

This was our first visit to an RV Park. The staff was friendly on the telephone and in person, and we met nice people staying there. Our T@B was the smallest RV in the camp, but that led to nice conversation with the people we met there. We'll be back. read more

If it wasn't for the fact that we were arriving late evening and would have seen this place during daylight we would've passed on it. We made reservations but someone else was in our spot. Claimed full hook ups but no sewer and water faucet was located far forward requiring extra hose. Instead of gravel sites the whole place was gravel and dirt. No water for flushing at dump site. Dumping ground is adjacent to campground. Photos on web site are not accurate. Pot holes in dirt entrance road. Good Sam and AAA should drop recommendation. read more

I stayed here 6 months and frankly it was a great value. an excellent location close to interstate 20. Excellent facilities including laundry showers workout rooms and it's quiet and secure. compared to other Rv Park that charge much more you can't go wrong. an excellent staff that are very helpful. nicely treed . Wi-Fi cable water and power are included. you can spend less or spend more but that would be a mistake. read more
