I stopped here for 1 night on my way through Texas. I was able to call when I was 5 minutes away and they placed me in a spot. The staff was very courteous and professional. The park overall is ok. There were many tenants there that had things in their lots like workout benches, junk and furniture. There was a business across the street on the back of the park that had a high pitch beep that went all day and night, I could hear it while in my trailer with the doors and windows shut. Nothing agains the park. but there were tenants there with political flags and confederate flags that I found offensive. Overall it was a nice park, due to COVID I didn't get to see any of the amenities besides the dog park. area which was very small but nice. there was one. I would. stay here again on my way through town. read more

We were leary of coming due to reviews. They must have improved a lot! It is very friendly, very clean, pool is very nice. Sites are all pull through and adequately spaced. We have ATT and 2 bars of service, 3 outside. The worse thing I can say is... people pick up after your dog in the dog park please! We had the breaker flip a couple of times. Called the office and maintenance was here in 15 mins to check and fix. No problem since. We are actually still here (7 day stay) so will update at the end. read more

We stopped in here for a night at the end of April. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and the site was nice and level plus was long enough that we didn't need to unhitch our 34' trailer. The park is well maintained and there was at least one decent tree between each site so, although sites are a little close, there's a sense of separation. Nice and quiet, too. We would stay again. read more

Great little park. ..completely non smoking. . Clean restrooms ... however, they hand out bottled water because you can't drink the park water. . Great dog area...would stay again but only for an overnight. .. water situation is a concern read more

Great, friendly staff! We are traveling with three dogs and they loved the doggy play area and lots of grass. We only stayed overnight and didn't utilize all the amenities but it was clean, well kept and easy to maneuver in our rig. read more

My girlfriend and I stopped here the other night while traveling from DFW to Marfa. It was 1am and we just needed someplace to sleep. For $25 I was able to reserve a spot for us to park the truck for the night. The staff of the RV park left a note on the "late arrival board" for us that had our spot number, along with a package of bottled water. I thought that was sweet at first, but turns out the water at the park had an unsafe amount of nitrates in it and they were just trying to be safe. Anyway, it was a lot quieter and cleaner than either of us expected; not counting the time we were asleep we were there maybe three hours, in and out with no hassle. Great place! Visiting my boyfriend who just moved here. He had been on a waiting list for a few months now, and I can see why there was a waiting list. Lots of trees and shade. the property is very well kept. Great grass everywhere and good amenities. Took my two dogs to the pet park, and they really enjoyed the plush grass and open area to wander in. Have a really good clean pool. Water was refreshing and cool. The staff is very friendly and the little store they have on the property is perfect for any necessities you might need. Laundry wasn't too expensive and very clean. I'm pretty sure this is the best RV park in Midland/Odessa. read more

Stopped for the night in our 32' motorhome towing a car. Pleasant staff at the front desk. We were given a case of water when we checked in because of the nitrates in the water. The park is well maintained, with a grassy fenced play area and dog run. No cable tv but the ota worked well. There are shade trees at each side. We would stay here again. read more

I had driven from just south of the Canadian boarder for three days. This was the first place that I was going to stop for some reprieve. I paid for two nights and the ladies at the front desk couldn't have been nicer, I can be chatty and they indulged me. They radioed to the OWNER and had him escort me to my camp sight. Granted, I was just sleeping in the back of my truck and didn't need a whole lot, the shower was my main goal. I complimented the owner on how nice of place that he had and reminded him of how fortunate he is. I could see that he agreed, was doing his best to be humble and told me, "the good lord" has been good to him. As the sun fell out of site, I was pre-occupied with a phone call and hadn't really noticed how I was getting eaten up by mosquitoes. My conversation wasn't a short one so by the time the call was finish I had been pretty well "worked over" by those "little terrors". I've had plenty of not so great sleeps in my life, but I have to say, I wasn't too far in when started to take the cake. By morning, my entire body was covered in mosquito bites. When morning did finally get here, I realized that I could barely open my eyes. Both eyes were swollen from bites and my right eye will barely open. I completely understand that nature shows up and so much of life is out of our control, in this case I noticed it and didn't mind. I decided to go ask the OWNER for a refund on my second night stay. At the front office the nice lady at the front desk radioed him. After he arrived at the office, I pointed out how my eyes were swollen shut and I asked for a refund on my second night. For his sake and mine, I wanted him to do "the right thing". He initially passed the buck to the Book Keeper and he would have to check but with his body language he was saying "no". So I called it directly and said to him, "so you are unwilling to make an exception?" Hoping that I would help him see that he has a choice and he is choosing to not be generous. So I left the office and thanked them as I walked out. On my walk back to the camp site, "here is a man who is all about the Lord and he can't even throw me $30 bucks". More than anything I just created compassion for the dude. Not too long after I got back to my site did her roll up in his little golf cart, handed me $30 bucks cash and apologized. I was happy for him because I know that he wouldn't have felt good about himself. I was happy for me because I put out for what I wanted and didn't end up paying $60 for a terrible night sleep, only $30. Thank you again Mr. OWNER. read more

I recently left this RV park after living there about 5 months. The park itself is ok, its an old KOA so the spots are designed around older campers without slides, making them a little small for today's RVs. My real complaint was their charges. I called to reserve a spot and they charged me rent from that day forward, I was not aware of this when I gave my CC # to reserve. I arrived 2 weeks later to find I was already charged for 2 weeks that I wasn't there. There response was "sorry, absolutely no refunds". When I went to pay rent again I realized they added on a $10 charge to read my electric meter, I looked thru all my paperwork, this was never mentioned, their response "Everyone pays it". Then I went to get my propane filled, I have one bottom half full the other almost empty, they tried to charge me for 2 completely empty bottles, they have a gallon counter on their pump. I argued and they finally agreed to charged me the actual amount and I saved a $14 overcharge. My advice is, if you stay here please be careful of charges, they won't hesitate to overcharge you and then just say "sorry". read more

Stayed Nov 2016...People in the office are nice. Not much at all in their store. Cost of laundry is reasonable but I would advise NOT to wash there. Not sure if it's the stinky water or something they put in the washers...your dark clothes will be bleached/stained and ruined. Wouldn't advise hooking up to the water since something is obviously wrong with it. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 33 ft 5th wheel on our way to El Paso, TX. Medium size park (130 spaces) but narrow sandy gravel streets. Narrow sandy gravel pads (barely wide enough to accommodate slide outs). Nice trees at most sites, but since it rained the whole time we were here I can't say how much shade. Some spots may be a problem for rigs bigger than ours. Our spot was near the propane area which made me kind of nervous (but at least we weren't in one of the sites near the dump site or the dumpster). Only fast food places to eat nearby. Adequate Wifi for minimal surfing/texting/emailing. Not good enough to stream movies! DON'T drink the water! Some reviewers complained about "contaminated" water. I don't know about that, but there is a high nitrate/nitrite content. They give you a case of bottled water when you check in and when we asked about the water the office said the water was "deemed safe to drink by the State of Texas". Even so, she said she does not drink the water or give it to her dogs. Office staff was very nice and helpful as was the man who guided us to our site. Area is completely surrounded by oil industry and probably fracking. Some train and highway noises during the day. But seemed quiet at night which was nice. read more
