Finally we spoke to someone and she flat out told us that they dont work on our type of hot tub. So we looked back through our records and found a check stub written out to them (because we knew they had worked on it before) and we called them back. The same person told us that they don't have time to work on it because they don't sell our type of hot tub and they are booked up. Thanks for helping! Now that we are 6 weeks closer to winter and it's an outside hot tub!

Handrail. We purchased a handrail from Thatcher for the salt water hot tub. In less than 3 years…read morethe handrail broke because of rust. We were informed the warranty was no longer in effect. Hoping there might be some consideration for purchasing a new replacement - there was no offer and it was suggested we call the manfacture. The manfacture only interacts with dealers. Thatcher's response when asked about our options of purchasing another, better quality handrail - was "we don't have other options and don't sell many handrails". It was a frustating. We pruchased a handrail that fastened to the steps for $50 vs our Thatcher handrail that had a plate that slid under the tub for $300. Given our experience, the $50 is a better design for less $$$. Other Experiences. Our other experiences - purchase, install, maintenance have been good, no problems/concerns.

They also sold us our first hot tub which is still used extensively. Their service is easy to access and couldn't be faster. Any issue we've had, no matter how complex (new pool liner, hole in mechanical pool cover, new pump and sand filter, rusted screws under the water line) they've successfully resolved within hours to a day or two. Their knowledge is excellent. Products on site for maintenance are cost effective. I couldn't recommend a family owned local business or service more strongly.

My experience as a new pool owner has been a nightmare. I bought an above ground pool from LAP and…read morethey installed it July 2025. As soon as my pool was installed it was one issue after another. Some minor, tubes leaking and leaking under my skimmer right after they left my house. I am told screws just need to be tightened and the O ring must be out of place. These are things I shouldn't have to worry about right after my pool was installed. Those were just minor things. Big problem there was a paver poking up at the liner sharp enough you can feel the ridges. I let LAP know and they came and removed it. They didn't put anything back in place for support and it left a big divet by the edge of the pool. Winter came we applied the winter cover as we were supposed to and the walls buckled in the same areas where the paver was removed. When we asked what to do LAP said to cut the cable to relieve pressure they would put in a work order they did and fixed the upright that popped out. In this same corner we noticed a puddle of water on the outside of the pool and looked inside the pool and there was the smallest hole we applied a patch and the hole turned into a rip and thw pool flooded our yard. 30 ft pool! We got the liner covered by warranty but that didn't cover installation which we went with a different company due to the ongoing issues. When the other company removed the old liner they found there were alot of problems with the previous installation. Not enough sand several pavers exposed. Cove foam was not correct and when that was removed it was found the walls were not on the track in several areas. When this was brought to LAP's attention their excuse was pools move. This happened in less than a year of installation. I have let them know the company we used would be more than happy to talk with them to explain what they found. We got no response. No accountability of what they did. No offer to make it right or meet us in the middle. We were disgusted and sick to our stomachs when we had everything explained to us by the new pool company we used. And having to fork out money to fix the mistakes LAP made. So If anyone is looking to get a pool I would not recommend this company. Nothing wrong with their work id their fault at all they will not take accountability!

I had practice when it was 50ish degrees out and the pool was almost warm! They have a little small slide for children. It's a very affordable place and has good deals if you were to go more often. Another bonus is they have a set time for people who want to do laps without children in the way. The facility is kept clean and is an overall enjoyable place to swim. Although I prefer indoor pools, this one is a great alternative when the option is not available! I would recommend this place to anyone of all ages!
