The line to go in was super long and I wish they had a menu for the people in line to look at instead of wasting time deciding what to get inside but once I had the ice cream...the 30 minute wait was pretty worth it. Located in a small location, they had shakes, ice cream, coffee, and ice cream cookies. My daughter got the vanilla shake which was a pretty good size and I got the strawberry and dulce de leche ice cream with condensed milk topping and a waffle on the side. Pretty good size for the price. As I said, there is limited amount of people that can go in and no place to eat but there's a park next door if you want to sit and people watch. Parking is limited as there's only street parking so I suggest to take it and walk unless it's 85 degrees out. They also do order ahead which can save a lot of time. All of the ice cream, cones and cookies have amazing flavor, whatever you decide to order I promise you won't be disappointed. It can get a little packed on weekend nights but I promise any line is worth the wait for this ice cream. My favorite thing to order is the Bubble Waffle cone, the warm and soft cone paired with the cold ice cream is the so yummy! If you're a big fan of cereal I recommend trying the cereal bowls, they are great to share because they are a bit big. I'm just going to say that what I ordered had no name. I basically told the servers to make me whatever they thought looked and tasted good. Hole in the wall that is dark inside. They also have tinting on the windows, so it looks like its closed from sidewalk, but they have a neon open sign of course. Turns out, they don't even open until the afternoon either. They make all their ice cream homemade and they pretty much just stick to ice cream items...and add toppings, even though I didn't get any. They don't do cookies, or other desserts here. They do have brownies though...since its a common ice cream topping. I chose the bubble waffle which is made fresh when you order it and comes with 2 scoops and toppings, such as chocolate covered pretzel sticks and wafers. Scoops I chose were banana pudding and coffee toffee. They have 2 parking spots along the side street (27th) which are off street and marked ice cream on the parking stops. The ice cream tastes so fresh and delicious. Perfect dessert after a meal in this area, or for any occasion really. I have only tried one other ice cream spot in Miami, but Midtown is much better and I consider it to be one of the very best....even tho they have 2 locations. read more

They also have various cones and baked goods like huge cookies that you can pair with your ice cream as well. My bf got a milkshake, with vanilla and oreo nutella. It was rich thick and creamy. Let me start off by saying I usually stray away from dairy ice cream due to health issues but after sampling this ice cream I made the decision to consume dairy....that should give you insight into how delicious there ice cream is. The second you walk in the very kind lady at the front tells you to sample as much as your wish, I felt so welcomed. I mean you really can't go wrong with anything you order the Oreo Nutella I think they dropped it from ice cream gd heaven it's freakin delicious. The birthday cake is creamy heaven. After our adventure at Piacere, the crew decided we wanted to get something sweet so a quick online search directed us to Midtown Creamery, located right around the corner from Piacere which was hugely convenient. This is a small establishment, comparable to the size the old Fireman Derek's location was in Midtown, but don't let the size fool you. The ice cream here will impress you. I had a sample of their guava ice cream and it was amazing; some of the people who were in our group decided to order that. i went with a Nutella Oreo milkshake with chunks of Oreos cookies on top. Normally when you have any milkshake with Nutella in it, you may think it will be very thick because of the nature of Nutella. Not this one. This one was prepared perfectly where it wasn't too thick and yet it retained all its flavors of Nutella and Oreo. It was a satisfying end to an evening. As for seating, there is a couch inside which can seat up to 4 people and 4 chairs outside, 2 on each side of the door. Came in for ice cream tonight - the two ladies at the counter : 5 star service! Super sweet, polite and attentive. One of the ladies asked if it was our first time there, I said yes and she let me know that I am able to sample anything I'd like. I sampled the Nutella Oreo - was yum... creamy with just the perfect touch of Oreos. Then I tried the cake batter - it was yummy as well but I was still indecisive. She handed me a sample of Dulce de Leches and told me to try. It was everything . It was like she could read my tastebuds. I ordered the teenie weenie which was 1 scoop and she asked if I'd like any toppings also mentioning toppings were free. I love free . I chose the Dulce de Leches and added Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Oreos. Presentation was super cute too! Overall the ice cream was really good. Creamy, decadent and not an overpowering flavor. There are many ice cream shops around in the same area but this is the one to go to! Super friendly staff and offer a variety of flavors. They also offer samples. I usually get mint ice cream anywhere I go, but I ordered their "Ave Maria" which is a guava pastry ice cream ("Pastelito guayaba" popular cuban pastry) with guava, cream cheese and maria graham crackers. Very delicious and not too sweet. I added sprinkles and very little condensed milk as a topping. For those driving, it is street parking so you can park on the side by the soccer field with "paybyphone". Seating is a bit limited here as they have a couch inside and few chairs outdoors. You can get your ice cream in a variety of bowls, cones, and waffles. They also offer numerous toppings from gummy bears, sprinkles, whip cream and some of your favorite cereal like Apple Jacks, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Lucky Charms. Not only can you get cereal toppings but you can also have them as a bowl. I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bowl w biscoff ice cream which had a warm flavor of brown sugar and cinnamon, leche asada which is like a creamy milk custard with whip cream, caramel, and graham crackers. Go ahead and read that again then look at the picture and your answer is it tastes better than it looks. I could not stop eating and almost finished the whole thing. If your not a glutton like myself you can easily share this with 1-2 other people. I was also able to try the bubble waffle with the same toppings. Have to say the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bowl took it home for me but both where delicious. You can order a small cup all the way to a large cup with two giant scoops of ice cream. Prices range from $3-15 and completely depends on how much of a sugar rush you want. Service was super friendly and they explained all the ice cream and items and allowed you to try them for free. The portion sizes are huge which is a plus, but the texture of the ice cream was a little grainy.
