You know, if you have to use a laundry mat to do laundry (which is only when I travel), you absolutely cannot beat this place to do it. First, CLEAN. I've never seen such a clean laundry mat in my whole life. Not only that, but they have top notch equipment. They have ever size washer you can imagine and they are all heavy duty. The dryers are awesome, too, but a little overpriced at minimum oif $2. I generally don't like to dry my clothes that long, but it didn't give me a choice. Trust me, that's the only downside. They have everything you could possibly need to do your laundry, too. From detergent, to bleach, to bags to carry your laundry in AND in different varieties. You can get small $1 things, like softener or detergent, or for a little more get a bigger size. This is super convenient when traveling. They also have a coin machine which is obvious, but awesome. They also have quite possibly the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in a public place. They have magazines and TV and outlets for your computer or cell phone along with tables! Tables! Bistro tables! Loved it! The woman and man who run it are so kind too. I know I'm in the South, but they seemed so genuinely kind and the banter was fun. They were super helpful. If I lived here I'd almost forgo my washer and dryer so I could come here! Fabulous! read more

I wish I had consulted the yelp reviews before heading here tonight but I have been here before and only checked their website for their hours. Their website states they are open until 10pm so when I arrived at 8:55 to do a load of darks and a load of whites I thought, "No problem. That's plenty of time to wash and dry and be out by close." I was wrong. They have a strict policy of an 8:30pm cut off time to start your wash. I feel their marketing and social media sites should reflect this so not to inconvenience their customers who drag their laundry down there only to be told they can't wash it after the Midtown Wash staff watches them unload it from the car. On my previous day time visit I did find the place to be spacious, very clean and all the equipment was in working order. The free wi-fi was an added bonus to kill time while waiting. read more

I have used their coin operated laundromat (they accept real coins! not those refillable cards... I always end up with 50 more cents than I can use), dry cleaned, and had some tailoring done here. I was happy with all of the end products. They offer only organic dry cleaning. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My only issue was that the hem of the dress I had shortened was uneven. I'm sure they would have fixed it, but it was such a minor issue that I didn't even mention it. Of note, they have limited hours for tailoring. This is a great laundromat. The staff are really nice. It is always clean and the machines are newer. The vending machines have the usual stuff plus fancy fare. The 50-cent coffee is actually really good. The other clientele are polite. And the music is awesome. I usually read the paper on my tablet or phone, but there are also lots of magazines. I gave it four stars because it is pricey (since I separate... if I crammed everything into one 60-lb. washer, if would be cheaper). read more

This is my laundry mat. The equipment is new and kept clean. The staff is reliable and friendly. The best part is they have an abundant amount of magazines, and good ones, not a few times, but speciality mags I've never even heard of but strike my fancy. The staff is always nice and never make you feel annoying when you are. And don't worry if you can get your snack out of the vending machine, the staff will gladly get it for you. This was one of the cleanest and well run laundry mats I've ever been in. The dryers worked in one cycle. $3.25 for a washer and $1.25 for a dryer. $4.50 a load. Tenants cleaned up the washers after every load. In a quiet neighborhood. Very impressed. read more

This is a great laundromat. The machines are well maintained and the employees are nice. I first came here when I was living in an apartment with an onsite laundry that didn't get cleaned often enough. I read the reviews and wasn't disappointed. I just moved and don't have a W/D in my new place yet however I had piles of laundry that needed to be done. This place is great. It's location is great in a cute, quaint intown neighborhood. There's street parking however getting a spot in front of the Midtown Wash is NOT an issue since getting your laundry done there take no time. I had 3 large loads of laundry and I was in and out in a little more than an hour. To wash it will cost you between $3.25-4.25. I think there's a huge washing machine that cost a little more. And to dry your clothes its $1.25-2.00 There's a wealth of magazines to keep you entertained, free WiFi, tv, and tables and chairs. The little lady in there (I assumed she's the owner) was really friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, clean, and kid free (today). read more

As someone who dislikes doing (and folding) laundry, I really appreciate the "Wash and Fold" service offered at Midtown Wash. It's both convenient and affordable, only costing $2.50 per pound and often being available for pick-up the next day. The facility itself is always very clean and well-maintained, I'd happily do laundry here myself if the situation arose. They also have detergent and reusable bags available for purchase! As far as a laundromat goes, this place is pretty awesome. The major things I want in a good place to do laundry is: plenty of washers and dryers, clean, and affordable. Midtown wash is all three with tons of extras! Last night was probably my fourth or fifth visit - I come here when I've let laundry back up too much and I need to get a ton done. When I came in (around 8 pm, when most other laundromats are closing) there were two other people washing. Plenty of free machines, so I used 5 myself and didn't feel guilty about it. This is also a place where when I inevitably drop a sock or underwear on the tile pulling mass amounts of laundry from one of the machines, I don't think it needs to be washed again because they keep the floors remarkably clean. Other great things about Midtown wash: tons of magazines, some a bit old, but you at least have plenty to choose from, free wifi, free detergent select days of the week, free coffee select days of the week, killer convenient store around the corner with tons of snacks and a pretty good selection of drinks, and when I don't want to walk the 15 steps to the convenient store the vending machines inside have a great selection (including cheerwine! where do you find that in Georgia???). Price isn't too bad - I usually get 5 large loads washed and dried for under $20 and 1.5 hours. Finally - the staff is great! The same lady has been here almost every time I've come in and she recognized me and gave me a completed customer appreciation card for a free wash! read more

Wash and fold services are amazing!!! I've never seen folding done with such precision. Seriously you never want to put your clothes away from fear of messing them up. I promise you'll find yourself unfolding your clothes to learn how to refold your other clothes! And they are always on time and friendly. read more

midtown wash is a very small place. because this is a small place, tables are limited for folding but there are a decent amount of washers/dryers for customers to use. i wanna love this place but its kinda pricey. i'm also a little bothered by the fact that there is no dedicated parking lot. street parallel parking isn't exactly bad but it can be annoying or inconvenient if you have to walk a bit with a big load. none the less, this place is still the closest laundry mat to my pad and i absolutely love that my dog can run around in there rather than have to sit in the car while i drop off laundry. bottom line: 1 star very clean place and free coffee 1 star for new or non broken machines with options to drop off laundry/delivery 1 star for friendly and helpful staff 1 star for pet friendly place -1 star for pricey $3.25 for a 2 load wash, $4.25 for a 3 load, $6.00 for a 6 load They don't offer 4 loads minimum $1.25 for 32 min small dryer or $2.00 for large dryer. $.25 for ea additional 7 mIns. read more

Great for travelers! I'd been on the road for three weeks and had a suitcase full of dirty laundry that would have cost about $6M to have laundered at my downtown hotel. So I called Midtown, and their delivery service kicks ass, plain and simple. I called in the late morning, they came to my downtown hotel to pick up my 29 pounds of dirty laundry I had tossed into my suitcase. I went to work and returned to find my pants and dress shirts on hangers and all my other clothes (t-shirts, jeans, socks, underwear) all nicely folded and in plastic bags and packed neatly back into my suitcase. Awesome. My only complaint was that I didn't get a receipt... and as a business traveler, well, that's important. But I'm not letting that small detail keep me from coming back or highly recommending their service to other business travelers. read more

Just came by for my 2nd visit to Midtown Wash, as my first visit was so over-the-top great; I was looking for Pam who delivered awesome service, desiring to just say hello when I had the serendipitous experience of meeting the outgoing and gregarious Stephanie. I don't know what they are doing at Midtown Wash, but these women who work there are awesome people, delivering not just great customer service but genuine moments of human connection. Stephanie is a wise woman with a warm and caring demeanor; one immediately feels at ease and peculiarly comforted, as she has a soothing soul. And it turns out that we know people in common from back in the day when we ran the streets of Midtown as kids and teens. Stephanie approaches her job as a consummate professional, always wearing a smile and delivering a kind word or cheerful banter. She is amazing, as an employee yes, but more so so as just a great human being...she must have have an old soul. She oozes peace, tranquility, serenity...she's my new laundry Guru! read more

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Unfortunately, the owner Mark, does not value or care about the safety of his patrons. I was assulted at the midtown wash with at least 4 witnesses, the attendent on duty, and there was a video tape. The police were called to the laundry mat, took a report, and Mark was called by the attendent to inform him of the incident. An investigator called Mark to request the tape. After several attempts Mark, initially not returning the calls to the police, he finally told the investigator he erased the tape. I then called Mark, left a message. I am still waiting for a return call (1 week and counting). I am disappointed that during this time in our world, Mark did not take it seroiusly or care that he has patrons who feel they are able to assault people/women and it be ok. With Mark NOT working with the police I can only come to the conclusion that he too is alright with patrons being assulted in his laundry mat. Shame on you Mark!!! BEWARE!!! read more

This place is super sparkly new and clean with lots of seating, free wifi, vending machines for cool snacks and drinks, laundry supplies, tv (no sound when I went). It's also on the same corner as an awesome little corner store. The workers there are helpful and fake nice (at least to newbies), which I can understand and respect having worked in customer service. They are dog friendly, too, which means they must be good peeps ;). It's too bad their prices are kind of obscene... :( :( :(...yes, triple frownies. I really want to do my laundry there, alas, I just can't afford it. At first I was excited about extra rinse cycles only costing $0.25, but then I discovered another laundromat who's machines do an extra rinse included for much less. Ira, who runs midtown wash, takes his business very seriously and immediately contacted me concerning my bad experience. I was offered a redo for the rug, which I will take him up on, and we will hope for the best. Most importantly to me, however, was that this small business wants to do better and serve their community right. Through a very kind email, I was promised that more information will be provided to customers regarding what to expect out of stain removal, and that generally speaking there will be more communication regarding these less sought-after services. It's walking distance from my house, the people who work there are really nice, tasteful music choice for doing a chore such as folding clothes, close to the convenient store, it's just an all around good experience. I can do a weeks worth of laundry in a little over an hour. It's much easier than having to do 20 loads of a stackable wash/dry. read more

I found out about this place out of Serendipity and need. I have a washer and dryer at home, so I can't comment on the ones they have, but I have taken my big bed covers twice and they are ready on the same day and smelling like clean. I'm lucky enough to live in one of those beautiful old buildings that makes certain parts of Atlanta as lovely as it is. One downside, of course, is that they weren't built to accommodate washers and dryers. So when my tiny washer (and lack of dryer) just won't do the trick, I head to Midtown Wash. I've been to a laundromat or two in my day, in 4 major cities both here and abroad, and I'm usually prepared for The Sketch...the dinginess, the broken machines, the scary surrounding areas, the questionable clientele, the one random guy watching porn on a laptop that might be older than I am...been there, done that. Midtown wash, on the other hand, is clean, has friendly staff and clientele, functioning machines of various capacities and prices to meet every need, free street parking and wi-fi (just ask for the password), and a little convenience store right around the corner (with a rather impressive selection of wine for a convenience store). The only downside is that it may be a little more expensive than other laundromats, especially the high capacity machines, but if a few extra quarters is the cost of a clean and comfortable laundry environment, I'll fork it over, and happily at that. I've almost stopped looking at going to the laundromat as a chore and started looking at it as an hour or so of study time, snack time, relax-with-some-headphones time, or anything but the dreaded and repulsive task it once was. It's very safe here. Can't beat having an attendant on duty and free wifi. However, being near a base has spoiled me...I'm used to paying $1 to wash and 25cents to start the dryer. I love this place!!! Clean, comfortable environment. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. There is always an attendant on duty. Clean facility with amazing staff and customer service. Meeka is usually running the show on evenings when I'm there and one day I asked about a specific, random laundry product and the next week when I came she had it for me! I was beyond impressed by that. They also do a good job of managing the washers and dryers when it gets full and people disappear with done clothes.
