The new machines are amazing and seem to do a perfect job--really impressed with the service overall. However, I had to give one star because of a serious safety issue. The vacuum and self-cleaning area is hazardous, especially the car stop segment. It's very poorly marked, and I actually tripped and fell. Thankfully, I caught myself using the car bonnet, but it could have been much worse. When you're focused on cleaning, you're not looking down. This area really needs to be made safer. read more

I didn't know what to expect when I pulled up then I realized this is a full service car wash. My car was clean when they pulled it around. This isn't the cheapest place but the clean is good so you get a good value in my Opinion. They gave my kid some free candy and I got free fragrance, so it was cool. Moved back to town a few months ago for a full detail($150) and got my vehicle and went and took it back to the sales guy and told him they missed quite a bit. Got my truck back a little better looking, no big deal even though they still didn't do a great job. Came back today thinking that might've been a fluke and now that same detail costs $200 and they throw in a 40$ detail for a later date at no additional cost, ha. I'm someone who gets my car cleaned once a week. I just moved over to this area so was looking for a closer detailer and tried this place out. The customer service is fine but you do not get what you pay for. $40 for a well below average job that took longer than expected. They also do not offer and membership so you're expected to pay $40 each time you visit which makes it even less worth it. If you're in a rush and just need a last minute cleaning and don't care too much for the quality, you can go here. If you're wanting a quality job and a place you can keep coming back to, then avoid this place and keep looking. read more

Half assed job and delivered car in worse condition than arrived. Rather than just offering to fix it a manager called me asking me to come back and spend hundreds more. I was the only car there. Short wait for someone to come out and sell me the $40 wash; LONG wait for someone actually to do it (which they actually didn't deliver). An old man with his pants half off, did the vacuuming AFTER he stopped to chat with a car full of teenaged kids for about 10 minutes. The tunnel has 2 brushes and no rinse cycle (just the rainex application). Then 2 younger people, with absolutely no hustle, took their time wiping everything down with DIRTY rags. And they popped my trunk!!!! They have no reason to be in my trunk!!! Then at the end the old guy that vacuumed came out to do the wheels...more inappropriate views of his butt. This place has NO TRAINING; NO PROCESS; NO HUSTLE; VERY LOW STANDARDS; ANTIQUATED EQUIPMENT; FILTHY OLD TORN UP WAITING AREA; and a creepy office where three people were huddled at a desk and stopped what they were doing suddenly as I walked by. I felt like I was in an episode of Ozark! I actually felt unsafe and wanted them to hurry up so I could get out of there. I respect mom/pop shops even when they don't have a lot of glam...but I paid $40 and left with a dirty car. I couldn't even touch the steering wheel, it was so sticky I had to wipe it with wet wipes I had in my purse. Another car wash business needs to buy this place and clean it up. I feel they went above and beyond to help me. I got there late in the day so they didn't have time for a full detail but Raymond went over all the options they offer and I ended up pre-paying for a wash and detail for the next day, and he threw in a coupon for a free $30 wash for another time. I got there the next day and they did a fantastic job on my car. I don't think it looked that good when I drove it off the lot new 4.5 years ago. Jeremiah did a great job cleaning my car, inside and outside. I told him it didn't even look like my car. They tend to get busy so I would go early in the day if you are pressed for time. Paid $36 for an "express detail"...the exterior looks fantastic, but the interior was clearly wiped down with a very dirty rag. Basically a few swipes over the dash and console. My brother went first and the man talking to him tried to upsell to him with a smile which no yes man could deny. I haven't done a thorough inspection but can tell they did a very light vacuum and didn't even bother vacuuming the trunk. I found that water streaks all across my windows, dust and trash still inside the cup holder and under the floor mats. My husband and I have been going to Midway since we first moved here about 10 weeks ago after my hubby retired from the Marine Corps. During our 3 day drive from Oceanside, Ca. one could imagine the mess our dogs had made a in the back seats with their slobber and hair. Thankfully, Midway was able to deep clean and remove all the dried "yuck" from the vinyl seats! Because of their quality work, we continued to come back. On my last visit (my hubby has been back twice since this), there was some damage done to my rearview mirror, which hadn't been there prior to my wash. After a conversation with Sam about the damage, he agreed to pay for the dealerships paint and clear coat to fix the problem! Volkswagen has never been know for their quality paint jobs, but I am thankful to Midway Carwash and Detail for accommodating me in fixing the blemish. I've been using this car wash for the past several years and always was pleased but I went last week and had TERRIBLE service. Barely any customers yet my car took over 30 minutes just to go through the wash and another 20 minutes to be dried. At one point there were 7 cars waiting to be dried and only one worker!! I just moved to this area of town and need a new car wash near our house. Decided to give this one a try. I spent $26.99 on the gold wash and while the outside of my car definitely was cleaner, the inside was not. Nothing had really been wiped down, the middle console, door handles, etc. I figured for a $26 car wash, these areas to be wiped down would be included but I guess not. The vacuum job was ok but not great, again for $26 I felt I could have taken it to the $10 wash and done it myself. I waited inside for my car to be done. I waited about 15 minutes and while the waiting area exists it has very old furniture and is a bit dingy. After I didn't see anyone near my car for 5 minutes or so I asked the front desk clerk if my car was done to which he replied, he didn't know. I walked outside and there was no one near my car for me to ask, hand a tip, ask a question or even make a complaint. The front desk clerk then came toward the door and said, "yeah your car is ready." I am glad the outside got a bath because it needed it but I won't be back to this car wash because I do not feel I got a $26 wash but instead a $10 wash, that I probably would have done better myself anyways. read more
