Had an appointment but they never showed up. They didn't even bother to call. I would not recommend.

Job: Replace entire circuit panel, new breaker (40 of them), Outside Meter box, PVC conduit with…read moreWeather hood. Date: Beginning April 2025 Positives - Came quickly after internet inquiry for a quote. - Quick with invoices - Itemized Invoice - Two electricians (one I was familiar with) both did a good job and very clean. - I had a transfer switch box for use of an external generator, which he said I did not need. He removed it and moved the generator plug closer to the new outdoor meter box - No charge, but optional PVC conduit with weather hood charge was $1500 (my choice), even though at Home Depot it would have been less than $150.00, so he was still ahead $$ wise. Negatives - Towards the end of the job, despite work still being done - asked for remaining payment. I was stupid giving him the balance as John and Val were there another 1.5 hrs working. - Immediately after he left with the payment, he called pulling the helper to another job despite the main electrician John, strongly objecting. - If they sound like a car salesman, talk like a car salesman, trust your gut. My mistake for sure, on initial impression, but I was swayed by the multiple positive reviews. - The helper - Limited IQ and worthless. Moe had him fill a gaping hole in side of house where line entered with silicone. I came back to look at it after the low IQ'd idiot left and had to clean the run off of the silicone down the side of the house. I ended up closing the hole myself in the correct manner. - Asked Moe three times if the old nail holes would be filled with silicone from prior line outside. He assured me that absolutely would be done. The three (3) holes the low IQ'd helper placed silicone on were not even in the nail holes. I ended up filling all the nail holes myself on the entire side of the house, which Moe said would absolutely be done. - Recently texted and emailed him multiple times asking him please to email me a list of all my breakers and what each corresponded to or take a photo and text to me. Val the electrician at the end of the job wrote out a detailed list he said he was going to hand to Moe. When he placed the safety switch on the box, I believe he gave me an anemic list, which was essentially plagiarized from the old box, which I told them was not accurate. I clearly misplaced it and to date following multiple emails and couple of text messages requesting the list, as expected, crickets. Take Aways 1. Don't be swayed for nearly perfect reviews - easy to get people to do this. If your gut tells you differently - Listen!!! Quick to reply when $$$ is in the air, after than crickets. 2. While his electricians were very good and overall, the job was done well, other than lack of outside cleanup, not filling the nail holes as directed to do so, and haphazardly filling the large hole entering the house with silicone that ran down the side of the house by the low IQ'd helper,, his word means nothing once he has your money. Can you imagine if you need to call him on a warranty issue, which he gives nothing in writing. Good luck! If he can't remember or likely chooses to purposefully ignore a customer's simple request to email a list of what each breaker does or take a photo and text it and the fact that it took nearly 3 months to have him drop off a dual pole breaker he promised (installed two single breakers when it should have been a dual pole) multiple times to bring the following day over and over, you are in for a long wait, if any response at all. 3. To date, I have not received another printout of my breaker panel list. 4. If you make the mistake of using this company, not due to the electricians, but to his lack of accountability and word meaning nothing, DO NOT PAY HIM THE REMANING BALANCE UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPLETED!! NOT ALMOST COMPLETED, COMPLETETED!!!!!! 5. Bgt2114@yahoo.com - reach out and I can send you all his text replies and emails I have sent as proof. 6. Electricians - 4.5 Stars. Moe: 1 Star and thats being generous.

Our contractor referred us to come here on Central Ave in Yonkers because of their reputation, quality and variety. Lights on Design was like a crisp breath of fresh air when we stopped in here. Main floor is mostly crystal grand chandeliers, attractive contemporary style lights, some 1960s-inspired and more. And, if you're on their website, you can shop by style, fixture type and browse through some of their inspiration gallery photos. Paula was a doll, showed us the upstairs filled with mostly pendant lighting, floor lamps and some smaller chandeliers. Since so much has changed in lighting trend, getting rid of our wrought iron dining area chandelier had to happen as well- especially since it has a country-chicish look I don't like anymore in my home. There's another lighting store on Central Avenue which we could've gone to- but based on reviews, so glad this place came out on top. Owner Glenn, was helpful, patient and friendly. Even when hubs and I didn't find what we wanted on their website, Paula helped locate it in their paper catalog. I loved how she gave us expert advice on how to choose fixtures and even determined which size was best for our space. She was our lighting whisperer.
