But because they decided to go on vacation they canceled her appointment and won't reschedule her in time and now I have to reschedule her surgery. I am glad to see that my Dr is doing his part to make sure the citizens of Chicago are safe and that we can somehow find a way to normalize what has been thrust upon us and that is this crazy pandemic. I am impressed enough to give e the office a 5 star which is rate for me, but keeping masks on, disinfecting and showing social distance guidelines is what I needed to see.

They do take care of your needs and answer any questoins you may have. The place is really nice and you just have to make sure you follow what the doctors tell you because this is coming from your work site as far as payment is concerned. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. I have nothing but praise for the medical care itself. However, trying to get a taxi out of this building is an absolute nightmare and deeply unorganized. While there is a direct phone line to request a cab, the system is entirely broken. All you get from the dispatchers is a vague acknowledgment that a car is on the way. You are left to wait and wait. Worse yet, even when you are finally assigned a specific cab number, there is zero order outside; other people will routinely jump ahead and take your designated taxi, forcing you to start the entire process over again. This chaotic, confusing setup is incredibly difficult and stressful for people who are ill, exhausted, or unfamiliar with the area. The medical staff deserves five stars, but Rush urgently needs to organize its passenger pickup system to protect its patients.

As we drove through neighborhood to get to the site, I was a bit concerned. The error appeared a bit "unsavory" for a doctors office. The outside didnt appear to be a place where a doctor would be performing any services. Despite my reluctance, I went in and to my surprise the inside was nice. What's that about not judging a book by it's cover.... The staff was indeed very nice. He was seen immediately. His service was performed and he was escorted back to my waiting arms (smile.) When we arrived the receptionist advised that he should be back about 1.5 hours. 1.5 hours later is when he came out! I love it. In the world of healthcare the term AIDET is used frequently.
